Pure Hell

Her face had an utter shock. "No," Sydney gasped and shook her head when she felt his finger wrapping around her arm. Adrenaline sparked and she tried to get away but one pull of his fisted hand was enough to make her get out of the car. Her bag dropped but she couldn't care. All she wanted was to get herself free from this ugly man.

The street was deserted and thick fog surrounding them was making it difficult for her to look past anything after a few feet. She looked past the car hoping he decided to follow her. "Leave me," She started digging her nails in his hand as she kept looking at her back for Noah.

"I dare you to try," He shook her hard to wake her up from her trance.

Run, run, run, he will kill you. Your babies,..." Her mind screamed as she bit his hand.

Her efforts did work. He left her hand just to slap her hard which made her stumble back. She didn't waste a minute but turned to run. Just to have her head hit into something hard and foul. Looking up she found a tall muscular man who had a rough shave and smells like swine. And the moment he secured his hand around her waist, she yelped in fear.

"I will take from here," She heard that man's gruffly voice and gasped when he sneaked his arm to smack her back.

"You better not touch her," Hunt warned that man.

"Please, let me go," Sydney pleaded while trying to get free from the grip. But the moment she felt his hand on her belly she yelped in fear while gasping a "no,"

"Is she pregnant?" That smelly man gritted in anger,

"If you want any money, fuck off," Hunt cursed that man. And Sydney did feel a sharp pull on her arm making her drag to a small camping van.

"And, if I didn't find you in Cuba at the dock I will kill her." She heard that foul man shout when he loaded her in the vehicle and slide down the door.

Darkness, it was the only thing she could see. It was empty and cold with nothing in sight. She hears the engine roaring and ran to knock on the wall beside the driver.

"Please, let me go, please." She cried out but no reply came. Leaning her head to the wall she hugged her belly and sobbed harder. "I am so sorry. I am so sorry,"

A while later she heard two men talking in a language she couldn't comprehend. One of them was the same man who took her from Hunt.

Her breathing got ragged and teeth rattled as she caught her shaking knee tighter. She couldn't just sit here and wait for these people to hurt her or her little ones but she was too afraid to plan her escape.

Soon, she heard rain hitting the vehicle. The thunderstorm was making her shake even more but now she started chanting sweet words to her babies. "We will be safe," She told them and her van came to a halt.

A little after, she saw that door being opened and cowered to the wall even more. "Don't resist if you don't want to hurt yourself." A gruff voice warned her and made her look into the direction of the voice to see that foul person again.

A shiver shook her body when she found his suggestive stare at her body. She saw him threw a trunk on the floorboard and heard, "Get in there," she looked at the trunk and then to him just to gulp hard.

"Please, pl,..." She sobbed and broke into tears as she rested her face on her knees but heard the metal clinking. Lifting her head up, she met the barrel of a gun. "You don't have any choice. I,..." he trailed off looking at her mouth, "...would love to caress you to calm you but can't do this right now." But when she didn't move he gritted while pretending to flex to fire, "Get in the fu*king trunk," And this made Sydney get to the trunk. It was long but less in width. "I can't," she pleaded suggesting to her overgrown belly.

"We are not paid to keep that bastard, you need to manage," He said while she saw his gaze shifting to her chest.

Getting into the trunk she could only see one thing, her end. And the moment he shut the door she knew it was her end. She was going to die for sure this time. "You should have not left him." Her subconscious echoed. "And, do what? Wait for his next tantrum. I will rather be killed by strangers than to see the monstrous side of the man I loved more than my life." She silenced her inner voice.

She could feel the warmth of the lives stretching in her. Her only regret was to never see her own babies. But she closed her eyes to picture the face of her babies. But all she could recall was Noah. His arm snuggled around her waist and this made her open her eyes. "I love you," He whispered in her ear and that made her get into her safe place, to her Noah. Noah, who wouldn't hurt her and listen to her for hours,

"Hey, shh, wake up," She heard someone whisper and opened her eyes to find that very foul person with his hand on her belly. The knowledge made her gasp in shock as she sits up and slapped his hand away.

"Are you hungry?" He asked but she only looks at his creepy smirk showing his crook yellow teeth and didn't reply.

But next, she saw him passing her something wrapped that seemed to be a sandwich. With her trembling hand, she was about to accept it when he pulled back.

"You need to earn this," He said throwing the sandwich.

"I don't need,..." She was about to deny for the meal but was cut off with his mouth coming to hers that made her got up and out of the trunk just to see a very small room stuffed with many other big or small boxes. She saw a small door on the left and get to the handle just to met with another disappointment. No matter how much she tried it was locked. She turned to look at that man who sits there relax with a crook smile. She started taking her steps back until her back hit a wall.

"Relax, I will be gentle. I promise," Sydney heard him and responded, "Please, let me go,"

"Or you want it to be the hard way," He asked getting up and taking out his gun to flex. Her stomach dropped as she stepped to the right with the wall on her back.

"You don't want, it." He said making his way to her and caging her in between him and the wall.

"You should think about this baby, he needs to live right?" He whispered lifting her chin up while her breathing got labored. "Look at me," He demanded to look at her lowered gaze while she wrinkled her nose for not being able to stand his smell.

"Please, no" she pleaded sobbing but met his rough hand grazing her thigh that made her jump in pure fear before she tried to push his very hard chest. Her weak arms were nothing and in seconds he had her hands above her head and lowered to bite her neck.

"Help!" She shouted feeling that person's body pressed to her belly. But when no one came she cried out a "no," as she struggled and cringed at his mouth on her neck. "Calm down, you slut!" That person groaned and caught her waist.

A sudden gush of air made her jump and next she found that person groaning on the floor, "What the hell were you doing?" She looked at some person's back who she never saw before and the moment that person turned to look at Sydney she sank to the floor and gathers herself in the corner.

"What the fu*k?" That foul person roared, "Don't forget who is the fu*king boss here," That foul person added,

"I know, I know, but I can't let you do this. Not on my watch," That person seemed disappointed.

"Don't act a saint here Jezz, you are just like me, a kidnapper now. We are the same bro," That foul person said and got a punch from Jezz again.

"I know boss, now show yourself out before I kill you," Jez warned and that foul person spits out the blood from his mouth before getting out of the door.

Sydney trembled more with fear when she got the attention of that tall person having grey hair at both temples and thin mouth but what she found in his brown eyes was not lust but sympathy.

"Please, let me out," She pleaded while that person took his jacket off to offer her a cover. And, when she didn't accept his token he dropped the jacket on her legs before getting out of the door. She sweats profusely and shivers at the thought of what could have happened. But before she could even cater the thought of getting out of here she saw Jez coming in with a takeout box.

Without saying a word that person placed the box on one of the cardboard boxes before saying, "I will be outside. Relax, I won't let him in."

Jez felt the need to ask that little girl to relax because she was way too distraught. "Please, get me out of here," This made Jez still in his track.

"I can't. My girl is fighting with cancer. She is four and doesn't deserve this. I am sorry." He said and was about to leave when Sydney intervened, "My husband can get you bundles of cash. I,..."

"Listen, lady, this might be my first time kidnapping but I know what they do to the kidnappers if they are caught. So,..."

"Just tell me where I am kept, please," Sydney asked. Something about this man told her that she can trust him. He was the father of a small child just like her father.

"Let me warn you, you are in a huge ship sailing to Cuba in twelve days. An illegal one that allows many illegal transactions." Jez told her recalling how huge ship it is, in all its luxury glory. "And, even if you try to escape there is no good man out there." Jez recalled the stripping clubs, bars, and wrestling fields where they play until one is dead but then he recalled how he has witnessed two murders since morning over the most trivial matters and added, "Everyone boarding this ship is the worst criminal belonging to huge gangster groups around the world. But this time it is even more different. Lucifer...the owner of this ship is having many billions of worth cocaine loaded. They will shoot before asking your reason to be here," This made Sydney paler than she already was, A ship, Cuba, and that ugly man would be there to receive me. No! She shouted inwardly,

That person again tried to make his way out of the door when Sydney tried her luck once again. "I am pregnant with twins." She took a breath to gauge his reaction and then added, "They don't deserve it, too. I swear to give you my all jewelry worth millions. I don't, I don't need to ask my husband for money. He is so rich. He won't even notice." Her statement made Jez still for a second before he replied,

"I will be outside if you feel hungry. You can knock the door if you want something," That broke Sydney's hope. After an hour and two, she finally decided to trust Jez enough to take the food he brought.

Jez seems like a nice person. I should work on convincing him. She gives herself some talk. And guess, you have twelve days for it. Her inner voice suggested. Sydney couldn't help but startle at every little sound and hardly got any sleep that night.

The next day went without any incident. She would stare at the wall and think about what Noah must be doing and somewhere in her subconscious hope that he was looking for her.

Jez entered her room three times a day just to give her some food, juice, or anything suitable enough for a pregnant girl.

Jez made himself believe that it might lessen his sin. But the thought that he was destroying three lives for her girl didn't let him sleep at night and making sure that he has secured Sydney's door he left for strolling around to see what this world feels like, to look at the world so foreign to him. It scared him but incited curiosity at the same time. It was one pm and the stripping club that was free for all the guests abroad was full to the brink. Many men were looking for escorts who can agree to follow them to their beds for the price they can afford. He took notice of the most famous madman, and the assassins having bounty worth million for their head.

Jez ordered a drink and stayed to hear people talking about their gruesome acts with so much pride. It was three pm and he was deciding to head back while sipping on the last of his fourth drink but thick darkness that seemed to be a blackout engulfed the whole space and he tried to stay where he was until it lightens. But it never happened instead, the stage lightened and came with a man who stood at the impressive height of 6'2.

"Welcome homies,"

*********

Her nostrils took notice of the smell even before he could touch her. Getting up from her slumber she found the same foul person trying to get the advantage of her. She tried to get away but the person was quick to hold her left ankle. The smell in his breath made her cringe even more. She panicked and called out for help all the while getting away, "Jezz!" But there was no response.

Her almost 24th week's old belly made it even more difficult to get away from that person. So, she cried out loud once again, "Help!" and did hear some heels clicking the floor. Soon, a very tall almost never-ending woman who stood at seven feet came at her door yelling, "What the he*k is happening here?" She cried out clicking her heel in that foul person's head. Her blonde hair was very long and shiny while her lipstick pops out just perfectly with her blue eyes.

"My heels are wasted. And you will pay for it." That woman pointed at Sydney with a finger so long that made Sydney wonder about her being a normal human. She was a giant lady way taller than most men.

"I want out, I am kidnapped here," Sydney pleaded and hopes a way out,

"Not before you pay for my heels," She demanded and turned, "You are coming with me!" That woman called and Sydney followed getting Jez jacket more around her.

"How many months you are passed?" That woman asked without looking back,

"Almost six," Sydney answered and followed her without taking notice of her surroundings. She took a very long staircase up and could smell the sea more in this open air.

"You will push that button once I tell you to, I am already late for my show," That woman said without glancing a look to Sydney and pointing to a round button.

"You try not to be seen by anyone and I will see you here after two hours. Then to my room and we will talk about how you are going to pay my kindness. You better be as richer as your dress gives away." That woman said and takes a look at the vanity mirror for the last time before getting inside a circle surrounded by poles.

"Now," She ordered,

And Sydney pushed that button to see that woman being taken up and eventually lost in the ceiling. After fifteen more minutes, she heard some women talking and hid behind some rails of the dresses.

They talk about their boyfriends, getting rich, and how much they seemed to earn tonight. Sydney tried to stay still and unnoticed. But the room seemed to be crammed no matter how many women lost in the ceiling. A gasp escaped her lips when someone threw a red dress on her but she got relieved noticing she was still hidden. She couldn't help but fear the intentions of that giant woman too. What if she hurt you? Her mind kept warning her.

After some time all that chaos came to silence. She peeked out to find the room empty again having no sign of a human being. But then she heard some men talking and making their way to this very same place. There were two openings and sensing those men were approaching from the right side she took the staircase at her left. When it was the end of the stairs, she peeked out to find many girls getting ready or looking or commenting at the girls on the stage. Looking at those girls all busy she took a small corridor at her right that made her turn to the left in a long circular corridor having doors at her right and wall at her left. She could collect that she was behind the stage. She kept going until she noticed a darker space and saw a highlighted stage where girls were dancing and stripping.

The music was blasting the whole space and she decided to sit on a chair for a while. The stage was quite high making only her face and shoulders to peek out. There were nine or ten stairs to get to the stage but she didn't plan to use them and sat there looking for the giant girl but didn't find her.

She was noticing the situation when everything came to a halt. She too became all still given the darkness that was too thick while all she heard were angry shouts. But all of a sudden, that stage lightened and came with a man who was facing the audience. She could only make a little of his side face.

"Hello Homies," That person said and all the chaos that blackout erupted turned into a pin drop silence.

"I will save the time for introduction then," The person commented on the deafening silence. Sydney couldn't see that person's face but his voice seems familiar. She tried to recall but couldn't.

"I know we all are very busy persons here but hear me out carefully." Sydney saw that person warning the whole audience with his pointing finger. "I am looking for a pregnant woman here. Red hair, this high and a big belly, so, whoever had her will hand over her to me in an hour if they want to get out of here alive? You come to me first or, I will find her on my own and you will lose your life." Silence prevailed while Sydney wished that this person was not talking about her

"Is the great Lucifer fu*ked by a woman?" someone shouted from the audience, and Lucifer let out a small laugh.

"Hello to you brother and, who is not fu*ked by a woman here? You fu*k their holes and they fu*k your brain but you have to agree,..., we all love it." This made the crowd roar in cheering. "And I have a surprise here. We will gather to hear the screams of the person who if dared to ignore my warning."

"I will find her!" Sydney heard someone shout from the audience, "But can I kill her? She sounds someone lovely enough to be killed." The innocence this person had in his voice made Sydney disgusted. He sounded like a kid asking for his prize.

"Welcome, Curse. It is so good to hear from you. But no, we can't kill her,...EVER. I have promised her husband to retrieve her unscathed but I promise to get you something to play with,....enjoy your night everyone," Lucifer was about to turn when that person named curse roared, "I want her!"

Now, Sydney knew this person was talking about her and indeed it was Noah who has located her and trying to get to her. Her subconscious screamed to get to that person. With Noah, she had one monster to deal with but here everyone was thirsty for blood. She took only two steps on the wooden stairs when she heard,

"You won't ask for her again," Lucifer warned with utter calm,

"I will have her," Curse challenged and the whole place was blasted with a sound of fire. Sydney didn't see the horrid scene as all she can see was that person's back, his brooding shoulder, and long legs on the stage but she knew what just happened. He is a criminal too, A Cruel man but you don't worry Sydney just reached out to that man and tell her he is looking for you,

"Any other candidate?" Lucifer asked, but only silence ruled, Sydney too stopped to hear the reaction but none came.

"Good! I love you all," She saw that man say and a woman approaching him afterward. "I know her." Sydney saw that giant woman claiming to Lucifer but before she could call that person she saw that woman getting off the stage with Lucifer walking impatiently beside her. And the moment she got a glimpse of that person her breathing stopped. He was that leather jacket man from the barn house.

And, for a second everything came to still. She noticed Lucifer looking at her. All of her hopes drained out of her when she saw that person turn and look right at her face but then staring at her for two good seconds he followed that giant woman. She turned to hide her face keeping her hands at her sides and hurriedly got down from the two steps she had taken so far.

She knew she couldn't get back to that giant woman too. In fact, everyone on this cruise now knew about her appearance. Didn't he look at me? I should run out of here. Her thoughts suggested. No matter how much she tried to hide her belly by the sides of her jacket it didn't work. Her nerves were everywhere as she sweats profusely while her breathing got labored.

She got out and avoiding the way she came from head to the front until she took some more stairs up and saw corridors everywhere with rooms having red doors and golden handle. She kept on walking until she noticed a huge double door at the end, ajar. She didn't have any plan to get in there but the moment she noticed some voice echoing she get inside to be welcomed by a luxury foyer. The suite was huge with a billiard table and bar at the side. Getting in more, she noticed a huge office with many couches but the moment she heard some feet she hid behind a couch.

"I saw her again, Seb. She is getting onto my nerves. And, before I kill you out of this frustration I want you to find her." She heard Lucifer say and cursed on her luck to be this screwed.

"Toni is looking out everywhere. He believes he is close,...," He trailed off looking at Lucifer's raised brow, "I promise to find her soon once we deal with this $3billion dollar shipment, finding her will be the only thing I will do," She heard Seb adding.

"You can't get me, Seb. You can't get me until you see her. You will know how worthless everything is." She heard Lucifer letting a cold sigh out, "I swear I will kill that morn on who decided to board Mrs. Miller on my ship. If it wasn't for that kidnapper I might be finished preparing her special room." She heard Lucifer say and only wondered about which unfortunate girl he was talking about right now.

"Why are you so quiet?" Lucifer asked but didn't let him say while adding, "I want to build a fu*king castle for her. You see, she is used to of royal treatment. She is not, she is not any slut on the street, Sebby. She is a queen meant to rule and stand beside me.

"What about your son and his mother?" Seb asked,

"We will stick to what I ordered you before. Isn't one hour up already?" Lucifer added because the topic was quite boring for him.

"No, fifteen minutes are left, but,..." Seb didn't finish as someone entered to inform them about someone's arrival that had something on Mrs. Miller.

"Let him in," Seb ordered that guard,

"What do you know about Mrs. Miller?" Seb asked that person while Lucifer gave him a murderous glare.

"I helped my neighbor to kidnap some pregnant lady as you mentioned, but I have lost her,..." Jez was cut off with Lucifer throwing a glass across the floor.

"I, I have tried my best to find her but couldn't, I am,..."

"Throw him in the cellar and if we couldn't find her in 24 hours you will throw him out for the sake of sharks." Lucifer intervened.

"No, please, I will try to find her, please,..." Jez kept on pleading while a heavy man took him out.

"Look in each and every room. I don't care about anyone's privacy at this point. Find her as soon as possible if you don't want Millers reaching out to Cuba's police. I swear I am not going to stand to bribe any additional dogs."

"Sure, I will get people right on it," She heard Seb replied before getting out of the room. Her ears were so focused to pick any move of his. She heard him getting up from his place and froze when she noticed him getting to one of the doors. Only if he decided to look back she was right there. But for once luck was on her side.

After some time passed she planned to get out but hear heels clicking and some girls talking. She made her way to the other side of the couch and saw two women disappearing into the same room as Lucifer.

Thinking that everywhere else they are looking for her she decided to stay hidden in the suite. She tried some doors in the suite and finally found one ajar. Making sure that there was no one in that room she locked the door and get into the bed. There was a landline in the room. Her hands sweat for a moment when she decided to call Noah but then thinking to deal with Noah later she tried his number. She tried his personal number many times but no one received the call.

She couldn't recall when she slept but woke up to her babies' kicking. All the events flood in but she couldn't care less. She was starving. Having her ear to the door for a while she finally decided to get out.

"Are you even listening to yourself?" She heard Lucifer say from the study but didn't dare to sneak in.

"Maybe she is somewhere hidden and doesn't want to come out," Seb replied,

"This is not our business. We need to find her and make sure to treat her even if she has a scratch." Lucifer's voice was blasting the whole space but she kept on trying doors to see if she can find any food. And, finally, she located a room with a dining table and food served on it. There were many things and she believed he will not even notice if she plans to take something from here. So, without much thinking, she got to the dish filled with rice and took it to her room without being noticed.

The night came again and she wondered if Lucifer had killed Jez. Well, 24 hours are not up until it struck 5 am in the morning. Maybe I can get to him to free him. He has a daughter. What if she suffers the same fate as me? She thought and couldn't keep her heart at ease. This place was full of people even if at the mid of night and that was a problem indeed, Just think about your babies, Sydney. That person is not worth it. Her internal war kept on going until it struck 4 am.

She came out of her room and roamed in the suite until she found the stairs going down. He must be somewhere here. She thought and went down.

She walked until her ear picked the sounds of sobs. Following them she found a man sitting in a corner and handcuffed with a rail. She didn't know what to say to him but that person came to look at her first.

"You! They find you! Please, I am so sorry for all the problems I have caused you so far. Please, ask them to spare me." Jez pleaded for some minutes and then stopped.

"Why are you not saying anything? You will save me, Right?" Jez had hope in his voice.

"I can't risk that person finding me. But let me help you, I will find some key," Sydney offered with a soft voice,

"Why? I mean why? I won't be able to stay hidden in this ship. They will hunt me down eventually. Why don't you ask him to free me? Aren't you someone important?" Jez threw a lot of questions at her.

"It is,..."

"Who are you?" She heard Lucifer's guard say and froze,

"She is Mrs. Miller, the woman you all are looking for, please, let me go now," Jez was desperate while Sydney's breath got stuck in her throat.

"Turn around, Miss," That guard requested, and the moment she turned he looked at her belly while saying, "I don't have the authority to free you but I can sure delay killing you, given we have found Mrs. Miller unharmed."

Sydney followed that guard to the same office where she was hidden last night.

"Sir, Mrs. Miller is in your suite right now, I think she decided to reach us. Yes, boss, sure, I understand," Sydney heard that guard talking while only gulping hard.

"Mrs. Miller, Our boss will see you in ten minutes. He has asked me to provide you anything you want, I mean if you feel hungry or injured." She looked at the gun in his hand and a hard, grim expression on his face that was indeed scaring but her mind was working on a million things in seconds.

"I would like to rest. Can you please get me a room?" She requested and that bodyguard showed her a spare room.

"I will tell you when our boss arrives." That guard said before getting out and Sydney got herself hidden under the covers as she tried to fake sleeping. She did hear her door being opened that was followed by someone's footsteps. The last thing she wanted was to be seen by this person. Her body froze in fear and only let out a breath when she heard those steps getting out of her room.

"How do you know it's her?" She heard Lucifer hushing in a low voice out of her room.

"Sir, she was pregnant and looked like a fragile woman like you mentioned. Plus, that kidnapper of hers claimed that she is Mrs. Miller." Guard's voice came while Sydney fears Lucifer's reaction.

"That person could have been lying to save himself. And, I can't remove the cover from her face. What if she is the real Mrs. Miller and got offended?" Lucifer gritted the words.

"She was too scared, Boss. I don't think she will mind you seeing her." That guard suggested.

"Heck! She was scared. She was fu*king kidnapped. Call that slut to sit in her room. She recognizes her, too, and make sure that her every need is met. And, yea, hand over those kidnappers to Cuban police once we reach there. And just act a little civilian in front of her."

"And, you Seb, prepare my plane to get me out of here." Lucifer added looking at Seb,"

"Weather is not good for the flight. You need to wait."

Hearing to their conversation she let out a sigh and prayed harder to never be seen by these monsters. In the morning, she found that giant lady in her room all the time who prepared a bath for her and offered her a long sky blue dress to wear.

"I can show you around if you want, or you can come out to see our Boss. He looks forward to a friendly meeting with you, turns out you are someone very noble." That woman had a little taunt in her voice at the end.

"I don't feel like going out. When do they plan to send me out?" Sydney asked while her voice was edgy.

"I don't think there is any such plan. Our boss will leave through his chopper tomorrow. You can plan to go with him or wait for nine days to get to Cuba. Seb will be here for you, so, you don't need to worry about a thing." She heard that giant woman say and her stomach dropped.

"Can you get me a cell phone? I need to talk to my husband," Sydney asked,

"Umm, sure, but let me ask from Boss first. You see, he never mentioned to allow you to call or not," saying this that tall woman dialed for Lucifer.

"Boss, Mrs. Miller wants to talk to her husband. I,..fine, yea, sure," Sydney hears that woman talking and held her breath in the anticipation.

"You can call your husband, but Boss was asking you to convey his greetings to Mr. Miller,"

Accepting her cell phone, Sydney dialed for Noah's number and prayed that he picks up this time,

"Hello," She heard Japer say,

"Jasper! Where is Noah? I,...please get me out of here,"

"You don't need to worry. Are you fine? Let me get to Mr. Miller," Jasper offered and sounded relieved.

"Is this Sydney?" Sydney heard some woman in the background and for a second it sounds like Addison but she discarded the thought and waited.

She heard Jasper telling Noah about her call.

"Sydney," She heard his voice and couldn't control her sobs.

"Are you hurt?" She heard him ask but only shook her head in reply while sobbing.

Looking at her state that tall woman decided to give them some privacy and once she found herself all alone she hiccupped more while trying to say,

"Noah, please get me out of here, please,"

"I will get you. I promise. Tell me Sydney, Are you hurt?"

"No," She replied in a hoarse voice,

"And,..." She knew what he was asking.

"They are good too," She said and heard a sigh from the other side.

"When will you get me? They say I will have to wait for nine days or travel with that horrible person, Noah I,..." She was cut off when Noah said,

"I will get you tomorrow, I will leave the moment the weather settles and will not let you stay in that hell a minute more than necessary. You hear me?" Noah asked and she nodded in reply.

"You believe me, right?" Noah asked to which Sydney stayed quiet.

"I don't know, Noah. I will wait for you," She said while all the memories of him throwing punches at her one after another came rushing to her.

"I will see you tomorrow," She added before cutting the call.

At night, that blonde woman again asked her to come out and have dinner with her boss but Sydney denied telling her she doesn't feel good.

A doctor came to visit her but she denied any checkup. In the morning that giant lady came to inform her about Mr. Miller coming to receive her and left a beautiful off white dress with a long white color fur coat.

She waited impatiently and prayed harder to never let that person have any chance to see her face. The last thing she wanted was to be seen by Lucifer.

She couldn't eat anything. All she wanted was to get away from this place. She was told about Jez and his friend being given to the police in Cuba. She felt bad for that little girl but somewhere accepted that man needed to be punished too.

"Mrs. Miller," Sydney looked at her back to see that tall woman. "Mr. Miller is here, let me show you the way," Sydney heard her say and a smile adorned her lips.

"Where is he?" She asked to which that woman awkwardly replied,

"He refused to dine with our boss and waiting for you at the Helipad." That woman replied getting into the lift.

"Why you two have to be so ungrateful for all we did?" She asked but Sydney decided to remain silent.

The moment that lift door opened she saw Lucifer's back facing her who apparently was busy talking to Noah. But the moment she saw Noah looking at her she stopped in her tracks. She saw how Noah left Lucifer and came forward to receive her.

The only thing that was hiding Mrs. Miller from Lucifer's gaze was Noah's back. He understood that the woman was traumatized by her kidnapping and needed some time. So, he never gave much thought about her refusal for dining with him but now for an unknown reason, he wanted to look at her.

He patiently waited and saw Mr. Miller hugging his wife and saying something to her. Of course, he was a little disappointed by Noah's cold behavior but he couldn't care any less because today he was the one doing a favor on the great Millers.

Yes, that great Miller who always had something bad to talk about him was indebted to him for his whole life as he saved his wife and unborn child. A wide smile was plastered on Lucifer's face when Noah turned with his wife by his side.

The air blowing in Mrs. Miller's hair made it difficult for him to see at first but the moment she cleared those strands wandering on her face he became all still. She held her husband's sleeve as her life depended on it. Every fucking thing around Lucifer stopped except that couple making their way to him.

She looked just like his pretty girl. Heck, she was his pretty girl. It all made sense, now. Those security guards who turned him into a pulp were Miller's.

He didn't look away for a second because all he wanted was Mrs. Miller to lift her eyes up and look at him, but she didn't. Instead, he noticed her huge belly that was mocking him. The couple didn't stop to bid him a farewell and ignored him as he didn't even exist.

Noah after making sure that she is all settled in her place came out to have some words with a person who has tried many words for his liking until now.

"You better be happy that she is fine and I am letting you go. I hope we never see each other ever again." He heard Mr. Miller warning but only tilted his head to look at his pretty woman again and couldn't hold back a laugh.

"This world is a very unexpected place, Mr. Miller. It has a lot of surprises." He said looking at Sydney all the time but got interrupted when Noah came in between him and his beautiful treasure to say,

"I hate surprises." And, this made Lucifer look at Noah to see his deadly glare. The disgust he saw in Noah's eyes for him wasn't hidden and that very moment he knew he will not rest until she was his for eternity to come.
