" Command the first royal guards to prepare we will guard Emperor Zilong to the South as he visit the crown prince " I said to my second in command Tigreal as I check the route for the last time .

" Aye Commander Miya " he said, as he was about to leave he suddenly stops so I raise an eyebrow on him.

"Yes Tigreal?" I ask when I see his hesitation.

"I...hnmnm. are you sure about this? I know you can't say no to the Emperor and he didn't know about your wound ...so..." I can't help but smile .

" I am sure so you don't need to worry, as a warrior, sword isn't the only weapon for me even without it I can handle myself" I sincerely said. He sigh but he knows that my mind won't change anymore. I've been their commander since I was 18 and I am the youngest and the first woman to lead an army and now Im already 22 . Being a woman itself is the first hurdle I've faced in becoming a warrior . Death is just a game in this path. The reason I chose this is because of my father who is a dear friend of the Emperor and also the former head Commander of his army.

" I understand , I'm off then" he says I just nod at him.

I can still feel my thigh throbbing a bit due to the wound I got from my training. After becoming the third troupe commander I didn't stop in weilding myself to be the strongest. I put myself in different training after I train my troupes only Tigreal and the Emperor knows about it, however the emperor didn't know about my enjury.

One wound can't stop me from doing my oath to protect the Emperor that I myself promise to my fathers grave.

The Emperor's visiting the first Prince whose living at the Southern part of the Kingdom . The Prince might come with us in back here in the main palace thats why we need the best power to protect them and I trust that my troop will be able to do the task well.

This will be my first time to see his highness the crown Prince and protecting the two highness's is one of the biggest task that the Emperor entrusted me thats why not a single wound can stop me from fullfilling it.

" Commander Miya the Emperor needs your presence " the voice of the Emperor's Runner , the one who passes the Emperors messages and tasks, brings me back to reality. I'm too engrossed on my thoughts that I didn't even sense his presence.

I stand up and made my way to the door and open it.

" Lead the way " I said and he immediately bowed at me and did as I say. I walk with him in front of me as we pass some of the kingdom maidens, the ladies that serves in the palace, they bows and greets me. Getting the title I have means having everyones respect though I get it after serving the army with my abilities. Winning battles under my command and proving my loyalty gives me the peoples respect and trust specially the guards family .

As we arrive in front of the Emperors study.

"Your Majesty Commander Miya is here as you asked" the Runner says.

" Let her in" the Emperor says from inside .

The guards in front of his study opened the door and I step inside after saying my quite thanks to the Runner.

Putting my right hand on my sword by my hips which I always bring with me and kneeling down and bowing my head to give respect to the Emperor.

"Greetings Your Majesty "

" Please rise my dear Commander" I did as he says and I can't help but give him a genuine smile. After my father died from illness he becomes a father figure to me too, even if when father is still alive he always says that I am closer to his majesty than him which we always laugh at.

My father is a good man , his strict when it comes to his army duties but he is a kind and a very loving father he even tried to stop me from joining the army but I did make him agree with the help of the Emperor.

" Is there anything bothering you, your Majesty? " I ask and he laugh.

" Why would you say that Miya ?" he said .

" Of course I know you well your Majesty, you won't call me this late bacause we just speak this afternoon about our journey tomorrow" I said with a playful smirk.

He laughs at me again . His always this carefree whenever we're alone he never treats me differently, thats why I will bet my life in protecting him and this kingdom.

" of course you know me well " he takes a deep breath which made me think of what might cause him to act like this right now.

" If you promise to agree on what I'm about to ask I will tell you" he seriously said.

" Your highness I am willing to do anything you ask me and you know that. Asking me like this , I'm guessing your about to ask something that I might say No" he nods at me still looking at me with full of seriousness.

" Tell me your highness I will fullfill it with all my might" I said which made him sigh in relief and smile at me.

I hope I really I can fullfill it for his highness.
