The Moment Of Battle

After receiving Herretia's order, the magic puppet—more accurately, Simons Lillest—finally stopped groveling.

"Tell me why you came."

"Why should I tell you? I'm a noble demon!"

"But you're kneeling before me now, noble demon," Herretia said, sneering.

"I will break free from your control. I swear!"

"Maybe I should put you on some square and have you kneel on the ground, enjoying countless humans' gazes."

"If you dare to do that, I swear I'll kill you. I promise!"

"Come with me."

Simons couldn't resist Herretia's command at all. This scared him too. "Wait. Human, we can talk."

"Now you're willing to talk?"

"If I tell you who I am, would you free me?"

"Of course…not. You're my slave now. Why should I free you?"

"I'll escape from you one day and then kill you."

Herretia didn't care about this kind of threat at all. It was a curse without any magic power.

"You talk too much."
