Fucking pirates

"So, two little kiddies are sailing towards wave after raiding my target now?"

Akari and I were currently tied up and gagged on the deck of this pirates ship. This guy looks like the lovechild of Captain hook and blackbeard.

"Tell me men, what happens to children who steal my property?"

"PUNISHMENT!"

The grin that spread on this guy's face was very unsettling

"Correct!"

Suddenly, he pulled a knife from his little boot and slashed at me

...Right in my fucking eye

"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

"HAHAHAHA!!! CAN'T TAKE THE PAIN, LITTLE BOY?!"

Fuck! He took out my right eye with that swing. Future me says it's going to look cool, but current me says STOP TALKING TO YOURSELF YOU ARE IN SHOCK

They uh.. They made Akari go berserk

The whole ship filled up with killer intent, making most of the crew members freeze up in shock

Her hair seemed to lift up into the air as if they were being raised by strings and a mysterious black veil dropped over her face, making her eyes glow a mysterious purple energy

The captain looked over to her and smirked

"What are you going to do? Scratch my boots off?"

Ah fuck

"No.. I don't think I will"

Yeah that's a lot of blood…

The weaker members were dead before they hit the ground. Throats basically ripped open by her fucking nails

Yeah, fun fact : Akari's nails grow abnormally sharp. Jiraiya noticed one day during a mock spar so he could locate where our abilities were and gave her a few tips on how to utilize them in Taijutsu

Let me tell you, I think I'm a pretty good Taijutsu user. Maybe not Rock Lee or Might Guy level, but one small lifetime of brawl fighting and cage fighting had to have improved my combat sense and bravery, right?

Well, when I'm fighting with Akari, that's fucking WRONG. She's terrifying! Whatever the hell Jiraiya told her to do was scarily effective and now I'm afraid for my balls any time I get her even slightly angry. I certainly am not sorry for these pricks though

Basically, Akari was the Naruto version of Sabertooth with a much weaker healing factor

I pointed to my now slashed out eye. It was going to be a hindrance for a while but I'll have to deal with it for now. At least I'll have a badass scar?

She rushed over to the underbelly of the ship and returned with a roll of gauze, Water, and some disinfectant

"Here, let me look at it"

Do yourself a favor, even if you have to play where's waldo, find yourself a girl like this

It took maybe 10 minutes to clean and bandage the wound enough for my chakra to start healing it and making sure it didn't get infected

I wasn't wolverine, however, and unless I had a replacement eye, seeing out of my right side would be pretty impossible

"You'll be fine when we reach a doctor.."

We picked up all of our shit and got back into our boat. This kidnapping took like three hours off hour travel time so we should be fine enough to reach Wave by noon

Chakra enhancement in the eyes basically turn them into mini binoculars, so I assume I'm right

From what I can see, there's a giant stretch of large trees and a small campfire going at the far end of the beach

We are going to go check it out

The Fishermen from earlier were actually quite helpful, unexpectedly, and Marked down where we should go to reach Kiri

Yagura was scary. A fully realised Jinchūriki was scary in and of itself but one that's almost KCM1 Naruto level is beyond my powerlevel - thus very scary

"So, you two were sailing from Nami to the land of water when you got lost and drifted to the Northwestern coast where two fishermen found you and told you where to go? Also known as my village?"

The man pulled out a stack of papers and slid them over to us

"Fill those out. Bring them back to my secretary within 24 hours. Money is not our problem"

I nodded and grabbed the papers before getting picked up and dropped off outside the office

We got up and went for the nearest hotel

It was a miracle that I remembered to take everything from those pirates earlier. They gave me almost 500k Ryo - more than enough to stay in a nice hotel for some time

Kiri itself, at the moment, was at its peak of the civil war. From the rumors around, they had just finished off the rest of the Kaguya clan that were in hiding and the Yuki were too spread out to even care.

In the center of town, they kept a large board up to keep track of how many bloodlines they have wiped out. So far they are at 19 taken out with almost 24 left to go. Yeah, Kiri has a fuck ton of bloodlines

By the time we got to a semi-decent hotel since apparently the one we saw earlier was kinda very shit, it was almost midnight so we both passed out as soon as we reached the bed

Well, we weren't here for that anyways. Jiraiya gave us a few tips and contacts for information and we were lucky enough to catch one of his informants as he was about to leave Kiri. Info was an extra cost, about 100k worth, but worth it.

"Remember, you distract the guards for as long as possible to make time for me to take everything inside. If you need to kill anyone, send a pulse of chakra and go for it. Ready?"

Akari, slightly nervously, nodded

"Hey, you'll do fine, plus this money is going straight to helping us and others"

"Hnn.. yeah, alright"

"Good, get out there"

We weren't doing this at night because 1) My stealth was shit and 2) Bigger crowd = more distractions. More witnesses too if she decides to Kill someone but more distractions. Fear tactics, whatever

Akari hopped over the bushes we were behind and began yelling something about an injury or something. I didn't stick around and immediately jumped up to the roof around to the back of the mansion

Locks weren't trapped with any seals so it was an easy breakin. The back was a kitchen and business room. No guards stationed, so I sealed up everything of value and went up.

Something to note, it was early morning. Meaning about 7 am. Most of these guards from what I can tell aren't ninja. Basically, they're all sleepy and probably hung over right now

Ok, fine. I was planning on taking everything but now I need to hurry up and get the valuable shit

So far I had located about 5 safes. Two in his bedroom. Two in his office. One, the largest, in a separate room all by itself

The first safe had what I was looking for. A stack of deeds and ownership documents. Some Ryo was also found, about 50k

The sounds of slaughter were just getting started now. I needed to hurry

The second safe was filled to the brim with coins. Counting took way too much time right now but I estimate around 200k

Screaming was getting louder

Third safe had a single paper in it, however a large explosion from outside kept me from reading it

'What the fuck is happening?'

The fourth was another Ryo stash. About 500k

The explosions were happening more and more now. Don't tell me a member of the seven swordsman was out there right now…

The fifth, and largest, had the motherlode. Almost 10 Million in cash along with deeds and ownership documents, bank accounts, safe numbers, everything. This was probably 5% of the entire Gato corporation

But, it figures, just as I sealed everything up, the cavalry arrived outside

"Surrender yourself or die to the hands of the Mist's strongest swordsmen!"
