Chapter: The Birth of an Espirita

In the vast and limitless expanse of the cosmos, there are nine universe each separated by great distances. Each one of these universe are split into 9 domains each looking like a miniature of a small universe, their sizes and what entails inside the realms could no longer be measured and known. Near one of the nine universe, called Prometheus is a massive semicircular boulder larger than any asteroid. It stands alone as if it is isolated for a reason. Although it is close to the atmosphere of Prometheus Universe, no one will ever notice it because it appears to be from a different dimension, a space not included to all the Nine Universe. It is as if a thin cloth covers it all, invisible and quiet.

Around this enormous rock are countless variety of stones, some as big as a mountain and some are as small as a pebble. Dust and dirt litters everywhere and if someone really is to see it they would notice the boiling magma pouring out the gigantic boulder. Massive rocks, a magma core, this was once a planet! A calamity, an apocalypse or war could what caused this havoc, no one knows and maybe no one will.

Moreover, although the planet is in perish and no signs of life could be the detected, the high density of Origin Essences is something no one could ignore and if ever someone were to truly arrive there, they would die instantly! The Origin Essence is extremely saturated to the point of being liquefied and overflowing! Origin Essence! It is the highest type of quintessence, it is said to be the instigator of the creation of the cosmos along with the Supreme Dao. No man nor Immortal could even last a single second from the Origin Essence, it would instantly turn them into ashes!

Ever since the creation of the cosmos, Origin Essences has long been believed to be extinct but in this place, it seems like all the remaining Origin Essences in the whole cosmos are gathered. And, once there is Origin Source, there is also the Supreme Dao! If the Origin Essence is what initiated the creation of cosmos, then the Supreme Dao is the driving force behind it. The Dao is the absolute principle underlying the cosmos, combining itself the principles of the Origin Essences the result is extremely hard to imagine! Supreme Dao and Origin Essences gathered into a singularity. This singularity absorbed all Supreme Dao and Origin Essence, compressing it repeatedly until the fusion reached the limit and erupted!

After erupting wild energies emerged from the fusion, the Origin Essence combusted into countless atoms, spread then disappeared while the Supreme Dao stayed as the principle of the cosmos. The wild energies eructed are later called the Three Divine Essences, divine essences that are born from the most majestic Source of all. The Three Divine Essences are known to be Chaos, Genesis and Spirit Source Essences.

This wild energy cooled down, forming space, time, yin and yang. And from Yin and Yang born the Five Elements and Three Treasures, the spiritual energy of heaven and earth which is what mortals need to absorb to walk the path of Martial Arts. Through the creation of the Five Elements and Three Treasures, derived millions more variation of Elements and Energies, until finally evolving all life.

There was a distortion of space, as if a black hole is being born yet its flow is in reverse, the huge gaping 'mouth' of the black hole issued a sound like a continuous thunder then finally a glowing spherical glob came forth. Slowly drifting aimlessly around until falling inside a crevice of the destroyed planet. Surprisingly this crack lead to a cave, the remaining half of the planet is actually hollowed and is a massive cave!

The glob carefully fell and submerged to ocean of luminescent water like it was cautiously carried. This vast collection of water is actually the liquefied Origin Essence and what 'carried' the glob is in truth the Supreme Dao! There was a 'weng' sound as if what happened is the will of the entire cosmos!

The sunken glob hungrily absorbed the surrounding Origin Essence and at the same time drown itself with the presence of Supreme Dao, undergoing a heaven defying transformation! The once shapeless glob started to crystallize and form the appearance of a pea-sized egg. It is actually transforming into an unknown being!

Thump. Thump. Thump

As countless millennials pass by, the ocean of Origin Essence at some time in the past is now just a puddle of water nearing drainage and what lay on the middle of it is a pulsating golden egg etched with majestic multi-colored runes. In addition, the once pea-sized egg is now as big as a hill! Standing unmoved and exudes a pressuring force. The pressure emits at the same time the thumping sound echoes throughout the cave, such loud noise is the heartbeat of the lifeform inside the egg. The glowing egg now illuminates the once dark enormous cave; it is as if there are trillions of compressed stars inside the egg looking like a miniature universe.

Moreover, the runes on its surface are in reality the physical formation of Supreme Dao. Such runes when comprehended by a Cultivator will give him immense benefits!

Then suddenly it happened, the surface of the 20 meters tall egg cracked. Giving out a blinding light as if a God is about to descend, space break and energies surged. Such phenomenon occurs inside the cave causing the surface of the destroyed planet to quake making it look like that any minute from now the planet will truly be nothing but dusts! The issuing of a loud cry caused every energy, in and out the planet, to surge towards the cracks on the egg. As if, the Origin Essence is its own to take.

Boundless Supreme Dao attacked the eggshell speeding up the process of birth before seeping inside and then finally wings sprouted out the half-cracked egg, shaking off all the hindrance for its emergence. As the eggshell crumbled, what appear is a white translucent being as if it is made of pure spirit. Its flexible feline-like body stretches, creating space distortions as if its body contains boundless laws. The only difference it has from felines are; its skin is covered not by fur but with white angelic feathers, each strand of it is as soft as silk fluttering easily as air passes through it. While its tail is similar to a phoenix but longer and feathered. Its mane is also composed of long glowing feathers, complementing its long white ears, dotted with small luminescent purple spots, and fox like head, giving it the look as if it is wearing a towering crown.

Its sharp phoenix eyes glows like they are made of countless stars, as if an entire universe is inside his head! Moreover, on its head is a single radiant rune, which depicts the Supreme Dao!

The excess of the long thick golden threads wrapped around each of the majestic being's four legs flutters aimlessly as if it has a life on its own adding more to its elegant appearance. In addition, with just a light step without an ounce of force, caused its talons to dig the soil showing just how sharp they are!

Its wingspan spreads 60 meters, thick and strong, and with each flaps causes a resonance with the world making the destroyed planet to crack even more.

What is more surprising is that, what emerged from the egg is a matured lifeform! Not a babe! Its 10-meter stature and length of 25 meters, tail included, stood out powerfully like a sovereign. With its each inhale, sucks tremendous amount of Origin Essence.

If someone was to see the creature they will surely die in heart attack, what it is absorbing is Origin Essence! The way it absorbs it is like a human breathing oxygen, that easy! All throughout the annals of history, only one such being could absorb any form of energy and matter, and that is Espirita! A legendary being that devours all matter, essence, energy, divine, and uses it as its own nutrition.

Out of the billion races on the cosmos, no one could ever prove the existence of Espirita because they are born only once a samsara of the cosmos. They simply believe it as a myth, a being that is the supreme representation of defying the heavens because it is made of the Source, the Origin Essence and Dao, and Espiritas does not corresponds with the will of heavens but the heavens must comply with it! However, this legendary being is said to be very hard to satiate and has three fatal flaws, it does not have a physical body only spiritual form and Espiritas does not have a consciousness the only thing marked in their minds is to feed. Such a shame, if only this being which is formed by Origin Essence and blessed by Supreme Dao could cultivate then it shall become an unrivalled Immortal and has the possibility to reach the peak of Martial Arts.

And the third flaw on Espiritas is that, it shall devour and devour until it fall to hibernation for trillions of millennia. After its hunger is satiated and fell into hibernation, it will slowly disperse and became the nourishment of the cosmos, replenishing the entirety and recreating lives.

As for this Espirita, it is no different from the past Espiritas it is now hungry. With a low growl it started to move around the cave, and consume as much Origin Essence it could. When an area is deprived of Origin Essence, it will move to another location, so on and so forth. The hunting goes on and on until the Espirita reached the depths of the cave. It had already absorbed all Origin Essences inside the cave and was already blessed countless times by the Supreme Dao yet it is still far from being full. And in the deepest part of this cave, it could smell two sources filled with enormous amount of energies which will satiate it by 80%

The one thing that blocked the Espirita to consume the step away 'food' is a barrier. This force field is created by a transcendent spell, no ordinary Martial Artist can break but with a single swipe of the claws of the starving Espirita it broke and what lay before it are two corpses!

Espirita (self-made) - a legendary being who devours all matter and essences. A being who can transform into any of the life forms they absorbed/ate and gain their abilities, memories, bloodline or special physique, to use it as his own.
