Chapter: The Awakening

A dimly illuminated grotto is what greeted Aragon as he opened his eyes. He was lying down on a makeshift bed of beast hides, yet he could still feel the cold uneven ground. He could hear noises outside the cave but he first assessed his wellbeing.

It seems like most of his injuries are healed, just some minor wounds were left. However, Aragon can feel that he obtained damages not visible in the eye, he cannot quite put his finger on it yet he knows there are.

Sitting up, Aragon recalled all the things he encountered ever since reincarnating. Surprisingly, he can remember that he was once a mindless creature, which only knows how to eat. He could remember the warm and comfortable 'air' he breathed and the tender and homey 'atmosphere' that succumbed him. Since Aragon is not enlightened about the wanders of the cosmos, he does not know that what he was breathing in is the Origin Essence! In addition, the 'atmosphere' is actually the Supreme Dao! However, he has an inborn knowledge about what he is! He is an Espirita.

Aragon can also remember how he absorbed two corpses, one that appears to be a human and another is a dragon. A beast much larger than the Dragon he has back when he was still alive as a human! Although it should repulse him, he cannot. Weirdly, he find it normal. Natural. Just like a human, eating.

Furthermore, he recounted how the explosion of space injured him and that when he first woke up he was falling from space and into this world's atmosphere. Followed by, how the skies dimmed and that he was struck by countless lightning!

Then he was blasted down,

He was carried by someone, when he hit his head with a stone then passing out

Finally, into this cave. Groaning, Aragon clutched his head as it ached, like there are numerous knives stabbing his brain.

He, being reincarnated no longer surprise him. With his memories as an Espirita and obtained memories from the corpses, he could deduce that there are far stranger things than reincarnation. And mostly because back in Agartha, he had a fair share of strange things. He owned a dragon! Although it seems like his dragon is the weakest amongst its kind; it still showed that there are mysteries underlying the world. One example of it is he being an Espirita, although Aragon knows his knowledge lacks he cannot ignore the fact how bizarre of a creature an Espirita is. It can absorb any kind of energies and lifeforms and use it as his own, what kind of creature is that?

Through the human corpse Aragon absorbed although hazy and limited, Aragon could process the memories and assess where he is. It seems like the cosmos is far more complex than what he thought it was. Through the human corpse's memory fragment, he had a vague idea of structure of the entire cosmos. It appears that there are actually Nine Universes in the cosmos! And where he is now is in the realm which ruled majorly by humans, The Mundane Realm. Moreover, this Realm is consisted of three of the nine universe and each of these universes is composed of nine domains. Apparently, back when he was still alive as a human, the universe he lived in is called Mortal Universe and now he appears to be in the neighboring universe named Prometheus. The Mortal Universe is where mostly ordinary humans live; although there are some Martial Sects, there they are mostly the weakest.

While Prometheus Universe, appears to be the real place for Martial Arts. A universe wherein the mortals has the ability to walk the path of Immortality. Majorly of mortals here has spirit roots qualifying them to cultivate but there are still some ordinary human civilization. As for the human corpse, he seems to be a person with an extremely high standing and reached almost the pinnacle of Martial Arts! The likes of him lives on the third Universe, the Celestial Holy Land. Since the memories are just fragments and incomplete Aragon cannot really decipher what entails this so-called Holy Land and there are still a lot of unclear things unanswered.

Martial Arts, Cultivation… to go against the will of heavens.

That is what Aragon just needs! A way to control his life has presented itself in front of him. He shall take it!

He was disturbed from his thoughts when a figure entered the cave; it is a female Goblin carrying a cup of water. Seeing Aragon awake the Goblin was shocked and accidentally dropped the cup before rushing out, screaming!

"Awake! QinYu! Awake!" Aragon was unable to react because he was too surprised.

'Is she a Goblin?' a Goblin is a mythical creature he had read from the books of Agartha. In addition, by basing from the memory fragments, it seems like there are more kinds of Humanoid Races. There are even Humans with transplanted bloodline from magical beasts!

There are a lot of Magical Beasts Aragon had no idea existing. A creature that has intelligence are called spiritual beasts while beasts who only has instincts and are usually vicious are called demonic beasts. It seems like there are many things Aragon has yet to learn and come in terms of. Being always surprised will not help him.

Looking at the memories of the Elder he absorbed, he actually found some details about Goblins. Goblin's history is truly amazing; they were once a Clan that could defy the heavens. Their true name is the Na'vi Race! And was once ruled by a powerful Goblin names Goddess Nuka.

This senior is extremely knowledgeable which will help Aragon to learn many things. Slowly closing his eyes he swift through the memories, it seems like by being struck by lightning destroyed most of the memories. Nevertheless, these memories are enough for him, for now.

Aragon learned that what he experienced is called the 81 Punishment, a type of heavenly tribulation especially summoned by the birth of a being that defies the Dharma. He also learned what the Dharma is; it appears that it is the law or order governing a universe. The path of Immortality is extremely unclear to Aragon and the memories are not enough to satisfy his curiosity. He only realized that practitioners could use the Dao of the world to comprehend the true path of Immortality, they can harness the power of the world to transform themselves into a being comparable to Gods!

Aragon suddenly felt a twitch inside him, then he black out and when he regained his senses he found himself transported in a different space. This space is approximately ten square meters big, it looks just like a blue-colored room and on the middle are two objects. One is cylindrical while the other is spherical,

"Where am I?" slowly Aragon approached the two objects. When he touched the cylindrical object he remembered what it is. It is the object that the corpse was holding back then! And this cylindrical object is a miniature Pagoda! Aragon had no idea what it is, the memory fragments he got lacked details regarding this Pagoda. When Aragon was about to put it back it suddenly glowed, and a text glimmered in front of the pagoda as if it was in hologram! It says;

'Transcendent Primordial Cultivation Manual' Aragon gasped, is this the cultivation technique the senior used? Then a description followed by, the Transcendent Primordial Cultivation Manual is the highest cultivation technique in the Mundane Realm. However, its qualification needs someone to have a Dao Spirit and one must have a powerful soul. To activate it the cultivator must use his soul force. If Aragon is not mistaken then the Dao Spirit is a type of Spirit Root and the kind that is extremely rare! Thinking about it, does he have his own?

Then the spherical object caught Aragon's attention.

'Is that…' Aragon is shocked quickly he proceeded to it.

It is! It's a dragon egg! Aragon cannot be more correct because he had already seen one! But this egg is far larger than his dragon back then. Carefully examining it, he could feel a resonance within the lifeform inside it. It is as if Aragon is part of it! Joyful, Aragon put the egg back with care. He knows that Dragon eggs need a lot of time in order to hatch.

The Dragon egg will take time to hatch and Aragon believes it needs tremendous energies. As for the Pagoda, he cannot activate it yet. With nothing to do anymore, Aragon thought of a way to leave this bizarre dimension and with a blink of an eye, he did!

Gasping, Aragon look around and indeed he is back again on the Goblins' cave!

'Is that an interspatial storage? Just like in the memories of the Cultivator? But inside me?' Aragon was delighted, no matter how weird it is Aragon no longer cared as long as it benefits him! And this pocket dimension inside him is truly helpful!

Excited, Aragon tried to enter the Pocket Dimension and when he did, he jumped in joy! He can enter and re-enter the space with ease. Truly amazing! He then tried if he can really put things inside by picking up a stone in the cave, and when he re-entered the interspatial storage and put in the stone before leaving again then see that the stone truly stayed there. Aragon cannot help but laugh merrily.

"QinYu, you awake. I, Toruk Makto. We, Yu'Wen Clan." Suddenly surprised, Aragon saw a five foot tall Goblin. Behind him are much smaller Goblins, just about four feet.

'QinYu?' Are they referring to him?

"W-where am I?" Aragon watch as Toruk Makto, sit on a stone chair beside him.

"You. Yu'Wen Cavern in Wildemount Forest"

Even by using the dead cultivator's memories, Aragon can't still locate where Wildemount Forest really is. "In what planet sire?"

Toruk Makto laughed. "I, no sir" then continued,

"This Pandora Planet" Aragon nodded a bit shy; the cosmos is indeed vast and can no longer be measured, even with the dead martial artist's memories he cannot pinpoint in what world, Pandora Planet is. He only knows for sure that he is somewhere in Prometheus Universe. This planet is only an Early Earth-Step planet under a Middle Earth-Step World. In each of the nine universe, there are nine worlds and inside those nine worlds are countless planets. The Three Universe of Mundane Realm is divided into grades with Mortal-Step as the lowest, Earth-Step as the middle and the Heaven-Step as the highest. The Mortal Universe is a Mortal-Step Universe; the Prometheus Universe is an Earth-Step Universe while the Celestial Holy Land is a Heaven-Step Universe. Each of nine worlds of these universes are also classified into Mortal-Step, Earth-Step and Heaven-Step, with the exception of Celestial Holy Land because it only has heaven-step worlds and one Divine-step world. Moreover, the planets in these worlds also has a hierarchy of Mortal-Step to Heaven-Step Planets, Celestial Holy Land is yet again not included. Finally, inside those planets, the countries are also categorized; just like the Athens City, which is a Peak Mortal-Step Country.

"Toruk Makto, Thank you for healing and saving me," Aragon said, truly gracious.

"QinYu, no thank you. Goblin blood, natural healer. You part of us. " although Toruk Makto is having a hard time speaking, Aragon can still understand that Yu'Wen Clan thinks nothing of it.

"What does QinYu mean?" Aragon cannot helped but asked, touched that the Goblins already considered him one of them by just drinking their blood. It naturally surprised Aragon that the Goblin's blood is a healing potion, harming Toruk's self and offering his own blood made Aragon see how good-hearted these Goblins are and that they are not like what the books tell about them.

Even if the Goblins appear a bit frightening Aragon think nothing of it, for him these humanoids helped him even if they do not know Aragon. It is true though, he could feel a resonance within his bloodline with theirs.

"You no name, we call. QinYu. You from Beyond the Universe" Aragon laughed; it seems like since the Goblins does not know his name, they named him.

'QinYu huh?' It appears that since Aragon fell from the sky, the Yu'Wen Clan named him QinYu which means beyond the universe. 'I guess from now on, I will take that name.'

"Then from now on, you call me QinYu" Toruk Makto smiled, seemingly proud of himself. As if saying that he's the one who thought of that name.

"QinYu, meet my Yu'Wen Clan" QinYu stand up carefully as Toruk Makto beckoned him. But suddenly blushed when he realized that he is only wearing clothes just like the Goblins, a beast hide.

The female Goblin from earlier came closer and brought a pail of water, "QinYu wash first"

"Thank you..." QinYu trailed. "I called Zhi" the female Goblin introduced.

With a smile, QinYu went to wash his face but when he saw his appearance, he was surprised.

He looks so feminine with only his eyebrows and sharp jaws giving him a somewhat masculinity! But what also surprised QinYu is that he had a pointed ears and small sharp fangs, just like the Goblins! That is why Toruk Makto called him one of them! Because he did obtained a bloodline of Goblins when he drunk their blood. Although those were the only indications, in his blood he could feel a foreign bloodline. That must be the Goblin Bloodline!

'Is this also one of my abilities as an Espirita? Not just to transform into different forms I absorbed but also obtain their bloodlines?' QinYu asked himself, bewildered. Clearly, it is possible since he could also obtain the abilities of the creatures he 'ate'

Out of nowhere due to his shock, Aragon felt something was triggered then moved in his soul followed by a light flowing out from his forehead. Surprising not just QinYu but also the goblins.

The light then transformed into a shape of a book, QinYu felt that this is some kind of manifestation of his soul. 'Is that the Spirit Root?' But how was that possible? only mortals can have it!

'Was it because the cultivator I absorbed?'

Slowly it floated closer to QinYu and by seeing it closely, he verified. It is indeed a Spirit Root, this is not a Tool Spirit or a Battle Spirit and it's nowhere near being a Beast Spirit. Then that means this is a Dao Spirit Root!

QinYu actually has a Spirit Root and a Dao Spirit at that, what more is that this Dao Spirit is in a form of a book! using the memories of the senior A Book Dao Spirit is totally unheard of!

'Is my Dao Spirit truly all-encompasing?' QinYu can't help but think.

The book then opened and what QinYu saw amazed him.

The first page of the Dao Spirit is about him! This Dao Spirit will list down all the things he will obtain as an Espirita! QinYu can't be more happy!

'But what is Datu Pandorus? and those sealed bloodlines?'

Suddenly the pages of the Book Dao Spirit fluttered and stopped by a chapter entitled

'The Dao of Origin' then it glowed until texts about Datu Pandorus appeared.

'Datu Pandorus. Bloodline of Na'vi God. The royal bloodline of the Na'vi Race. One who shall obtain this bloodline can rule the Godlins and be their God.'

'Godlins. Highest evolution of Goblins. The true people of Na'vi Race'

'Na'vi Race History. The heavens does not let humanoid races to walk the path of Immortality! Yet Na'vi Race walked the Path, they have a unique bloodline wherein the Na'vi people can only cultivate when their Datu did. The last Datu, Goddess Nuka defied the heavens by cultivating causing the Na'vi Race to rise in prominence. She cultivated until Divine Lord and dared to create a world solely for the Na'vi Race but punished by the heavens. Their intelligence was sealed and their bloodline cursed.'
