Chapter 12 Creator intervenes, fighting the horde, rain steps in
hiei's thoughts at this moment was F*ck! this creepy ass snake girl suddenly made herself propel towards him as her mouth was wide open unlike regular snakes that try to swallow their prey whole she was aiming for his torso to tear him to shreds as if she has done this hundreds of times...
the boy reinforced his armor as he braced himself for her attack due to how fast her attack was it would be foolish to try to take it on fully so he jumps back to lighten the attack...
luckily his armor was hard enough as sparks were seen and obviously he was flying into the air towards the direction of the horde of monsters which was now good news and sure enough due to how loud their clash was there was bird people flying over and mind you none of them were beautiful the harpies like in a certain anime hell from incomplete fusion to just pitiful looking ones they all flew towards hiei under the commands of the wolf/woman...
sadly since they were dumb enough to come close and attack hiei was given a chance to use his skill to dig in to one of the unfortunate ones and managed to pull himself towards a direction away from the horde ruining the snake girl's attempts to have him overwhelmed by the horde tsk tsk tsk...
seeing her attempt fail the snake girl glared towards the wolf/woman then roared in anger!
as the boy was having a free fall he was slaying and absorbing the bird people to increase his chances of survival before crashing through a small house destroying the roof and if that wasn't bad enough after he landed someone or something fired some kind of wide beam that vaporized a clear line of buildings including the walls and the roof exposing hiei to the horde as they all made a frenzied dash towards him...
as all sorts of skills and monsters made its way towards hiei as it quickly became apparent that these monsters could care less for each other...
As some of the skills that were fired began to kill those from the horde but one thing was very, very obvious...
There seemed to be to factions in this horde as one was trying to keep him alive as every time one of the monster tried to kill him they would get killed, and the other was hellbent of killing him as for why he could care less, the boy wished to get the hell out of there now... yet at the same time something inside of him was urging him to eat heh EAT EVERYTHING!!!
the boy shudders from the strange urge and forcefully suppresses it... however during this time one of the monsters that had looked like a mix between a boar and beetle attacked him from behind while he was distracted impaling him through the chest causing him to cough up blood as he looked down at the horn that protruded through his chest in a daze...
hiei created spikes from his armor the pierced through the head of the attacker then quickly absorbs the creature to recover and strengthen himself even more while the two factions are at odds at each other sadly the ones trying to protect him were fewer thus another large crowd begins to make its way to him this time he fully changes into his "battle mode" with his right arm back to being a gun of sorts while left is a blend between a blade and a shield as he attempts to fend off the annoying horde of monsters...
however due to numbers again from air land and the occasional sneak attacks from underground how the boy looked right now was downright miserable, it was a good half an hour of surviving this attack and sadly fatigue was the least of his worries as he was panting rather heavily...
again the right arm was missing thanks to his skill he managed not to bleed to death and using carcasses whenever he got a chance helped a lot...
from the sneak attacks that he received he was missing chunks of meat from his back and left leg as is forced to drag it more as the battle went on...
strangely though in a situation where he should be panicking or despairing he was rather calm for some reason or rather his mind was else where what would happen if he made his blood poisonous? while as a fog? or dripped it into a stream near where all these monsters were living at how quickly would he get stronger?
however a fast and powerful figure emerged from the horde that was attacking and hit him right in the center of the chest knocking the wind out of him as he crashed into one of the surviving walls during the whole fight...
the sound of coughing could be heard as the boy staggered as he gradually got up all while trying to fend off a few more monsters that thought it was the best time to attack with a howl only to pay for it getting torn apart by his almost dull claws on his left hand that shook from the strain...
the boys eyes blurred out as he could not see anything properly right now other than following the loud noises that get close hiei was running on fumes now unable to heal, unable to see, unable to attack properly, yeah he is getting there...
---Wolf/woman pov---
after the so called mistress commanded us to look for more specimens that she could use Liara the snake woman a brainwash bi*ch that acts as her 3rd in command is here as well literally treating that mad scientist like some kind of goddess *ptui* disgusting after that fucking god removed the stat system it made things both hard and easy to do things as now the leader can't overpower us so she can't fuse 2 thing together more than once or she would suffer a backlash too bad i wasn't there at the time or i would killed her myself...
tch liara went out on her own again f*ck this is getting irritating while i was proud of my body when i was still "human-ish" doesn't mean i like putting myself on display we managed to gather 300 more people *sigh* while i pity their destination there still a chance that i could recruit them...
suddenly my ears started ringing then a voice echoed into my ears (while i don't appreciate the insults well i guess i earned it, so how about i make it up to you? capture the boy that your friend is attacking and i can tell you a method on how to restore you guys back to your original selves kukuku)
..... i was speechless while i dreamed of a chance of being able to change back i didn't think it would be so soon!!! thus i immediately ordered my scouts to try and find liara and to capture the boy as soon as possible before that snake bi*ch gets to him.
the first group I sent was slaughtered and not Liara was openly sending her troops to mine f*ck i should of known she was going to do something like that just because we were trying to capture her prey that c*nt is asking for it, i took matters in to my own hands and attacked her due to my skills i was able to fend her off as they stacked their abilities on one another my first skill was "protection" from the wolf it renders all damage at level 9 reduced by 45%, my personal skill is "safeguard" it grants me the ability to absorb at level 7 35% of all incoming damage and add it to my next attack meaning that i can handle that snake bi*ch any day!!!
however one of her subordinates used a skill which is very similar to hyper beam from pokemon which sent everything in its path to oblivion making me worry for a moment as i dodged an attack for Liara...
however he was safe and came out from some of the debris so i sent more of my troops to capture the boy upon seeing my actions Liara decided to sent majority of her forces to kill the boy, causing me to turn my head towards her with a cold glare i was furious!
so i charged at her again as our skills cancel each other out some how every single time causing me to be frustrated to no end and so our fight was a rather bitter one for me at least as there would be no winner or loser between us, the the boy i wanted to capture so desperately was beginning to get overrun by the her troops and to make things even worse her back up troops had arrived and she immediately sent them to attack the kid yet again...
so i stopped my attacks causing her to frown as she stopped as well as i asked "why are you so keen on killing the boy? didn't the b- i mean mistress say to gather more specimens? if you don't give me a satisfying answer i will report your current misdeeds including how you slaughter my men!!!"
Liara replied with her usual sultry voice that still makes my skin crawl including my fur "Hiiiisssss the creator demanded his life as tribute and promised to reward me HHiiissss, ssssooo GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!" as she said her last sentence liara used her tail like a spring and full body tackled me yet at the same time her words the creator was using us to play his game yet again thus i ordered my men a full retreat as i used my skill to send liara flying and made a run for it.... as i did i looked back at the struggling boy as i spoke my mind "sorry kid i'd rather not be used as a toy yet again"
however a figure passed right above me and the chills i felt from it surpassed that of the mad scientist.... well f*ck! if i stayed i would've gotten killed too that damned creator was trying to get us all killed!!!
but still oh Liara~ you are so f*cked HAHAHAHAHA
---Hiei pov---
just as he was about to retaliate a familiar figure grabbed hold of him and held him close as she did this it seemed as if everything stopped moving... no the horde did, as a low growl came from rain that sounded like an apex predator, a starving one, a furious, a powerful one that was when the boy had gotten to see a very different side of rain the kind that reminded him of a ferocious lioness that would tear their prey to shreds as she began to form a something over her arm that looked like a large blue claw that swiftly cleaved through tens of the monsters that surrounded them as she released a deafening roar!
