Approaching The Mountain

A good amount of time had passed since Loki started to train himself in controlling his body. Where he was sitting was once where a behemoth tree had stood. He sat in the center of the tree rings. If one zoomed out thousands upon thousands of tree rings could be seen, which showed how log the tree had been alive for.

Returning to Loki, who was sitting crossed legged, he held a pair of chopsticks in both hands. In front of him ten pieces of wood flew in a circle, this was do to him juggling them with the chopsticks in his hands.

Satisfied he yawned loudly, since a good few hours had passed since he started, and juggling started to get monotonous.

Loki stood up and dusted himself off from all the wooden dust that gathered from all his failed attempts at controlling his strength. He took a glance at the sky and saw that eight suns stood tall in the sky. This indicated that it was somewhere around nine, Loki thought to himself whether or not he should head back behind the wall before it got dark.

"Hmmmmmmmmmmm, no I'll climb the mountain."

Loki had climbed a tree earlier and saw that he was somewhere around the 12 tier, which meant he was at least two or three tiers away from reaching the rocky mountain. It had been the place where all the main characters, from the martial arts stories, climbed to obtain some mythical thing that would allow them to practice a martial arts technique. Most of the time an old monk would greet them at the peak, and congratulate whoever reached the top by passing on his inheritance to them.

Loki only knew small pieces of the tales and stories since he had been shooed away if people noticed him, since they didn't want to be mistaken to be friends with Loki and get targeted along with him.

Thinking back on all of the injustices he suffered in his past, Loki wondered what faces everyone would make at the sight of him single handedly beating everyone behind the wall. He laughed to himself and thought that it'd be pointless.

"Wait no it wouldn't be completely pointless... what if I could get a boost from my power if I did do that in front of everyone. Maybe they'd think of me like an almighty god or something. No, they'd think of me as a bad guy or something unless I do something heroic. No one ever praised a villain for their strength, they just feared them..."

Since he thought fear couldn't help him with his powers in anyway, he headed for the mountain.
