Kosei deadpanned when he saw Watari with Kaori. Kosei understand that he is only consider as a friend in Kaori's eyes. Well, that same goes for Watari. Unless they both confess to start the competition, nothing will change. They are not allowed to complain about who should be the person that can stand beside Kaori; it is a quite relief that Kaori's boy friends only consist of Kosei and Watari. They can be jealous but they cannot tell Kaori what to do or not just to pacify their feelings. If they wish to do so, then they will have to man up and confess.
Maybe both of them just wants to stay the same. Kosei is considered as lucky since Kaori usually runs after Kosei if she wants to do something. But it is fine. As long as their friendship stays the same. They might be a coward but they treasure Kaori's feelings more than theirs. Confessing means hurting Kaori too, as she will decide who to choose between them. That is why, it is fine to be a coward for now if it means protecting the feelings of the person they love.
"Kosei! You're already here?" Watari greeted as they went inside the room. Kaori greeted him with a sweet smile.
"I am always here. Early. Don't you have club activities too? You'll be late." Kosei smiled.
Of course, Watari did not look convince to that smile of his, "...right. Well then, Kaori, I'll get going. Work hard on your music" Watari waived
"Bye bye! Thank you, Watari-kun!" Kaori waived until Watari is already out of their sight.

When Sunday came, Tsubaki and Kaori went out for their 'date'. There is a new romance comedy movie and they decided to watch it together. It was fun as they laughed and cried together. The movie has a bitter sweet story, the characters are all unique and funny so much that when the character's cry Tsubaki and Kaori can't help but to cry too. They went out of the theater feeling refresh and laughed again when they saw their eyes that became red because of crying.
"Well, at least it was a happy ending." Tsubaki commented. They are already in a café to relax.
"I don't think I can sleep later comfortable if the ending is tragic." Kaori chuckled.
"Somehow, even though it is a happy ending.. I feel so empty. It's like I want to watch more."
"I know right! I certainly understand that feeling! Their acting is too great~"
Tsubaki smiled fondly while looking at Kaori who's sipping her drinks. She was really worried about her friend, the black circle under her eyes are too distracting to her pale face.
"Kao-chan, let's do this again, okay? I like being with you."
Kaori was startled but smiled nonetheless. "Of course, I like being with Tsubaki and everyone too."
"There are some times that it's better if it is just the two of us though…" Tsubaki who noticed that Kaori is frowning shake her head "I don't mean that I don't want to be with them. It's just that even since the second year began, our time with just the two of us are decreasing. It's fine as well that you're always with Kosei. You don't have to mind me. I already know before that I don't stand a chance… I am already getting over him. I am sincerely glad that Kosei can seek comfort with you and you with Kosei." Tsubaki does not want Kaori to be reserved because of her feelings with Kosei especially this period where Kaori needs all the emotional support she can get. Emotional support is the only thing they can offer to Kaori.
Kaori feels more comfortable with music and Kosei understand her the best when it comes to that matter. They are both compatible. However, Tsubaki notice that Kaori's been reluctant to go to the music room since last week and assume that Kaori must be hesitant because of Tsubaki. After all, Kaori's been emotional unstable since the tragedy that happened to her family. They are not aware though that the real reason Kaori's been reluctant going to the music room is because she's escaping from music.
