The Party People

I walk up to see her, my crush

Sam Willow.

She's a long legged girl with light creamy caramel skin and neatly braided dark brown hair that goes all the way down her back.

She has been my best friend since we were seven and loves any sport that involves a ball just as much as I do.

"Hey Lizz come here!",

she shouts excitedly from the park bench.

As I jog to her she pulls two slips of paper out of her bag.

"Happy early sevententh birthday"

she says as she hands one slip of paper to me.

As I read the slip of paper I find that they're tickets to the upcoming collage soccer game!

I give her a huge bear hug.

"Thank-you!

Thank-you!

Thank-you!"

I proclaimed.

"I've been dying to get these tickets for weeks now! How did you manage to get your hands on them? I thought they were all sold out."

I say in a confused yet curious tone.

"You know Janus and her boyfriend right?"

Janus Beck is is a very attractive girl with bleach blond hair that has hot pink strands dyed in it and always wares short shorts and T-shirts. She's know to be the type of girl that can't have a long term relationship but always has a boyfriend, and she loves to party.

Sam continues,

"Will she was going to go to the game with her boyfriend but he dumped her for some preppy girl from the cheerleading squad,

so since she had no-one else to go with she gave them to me."

Sam explains this to me and rambles on,

and then she switches the subject to how she believes that Janus's ex boyfriend was a total jerk to just leave her like that.

But while she continues to talk I manage to cut her off to ask her the question I've been trying to ask her this whole time.

She waits patiently as I grab a letter from my bag and then I hand it to her

"Well I was wondering if you'd maybe like to go to my birthday party next week?"

I ask nervously.

"Of course! You've never had a birthday party before. This is amazing, who all is going, when is it, and where is it going to be? "

She asks all these questions with so much energy that she looks like she's about to bounce right of her chair.

So I tell her,

"Well it's at the rental pool down the street from the park so I decided to keep it small and I've invited twelve people other than you and myself. Afterwards Jojo, Albie, and Janus were going to come over to my house afterwards, if you want to come over to your welcome too. Any other information you will need is on the invitation."

"Cool! you'll definitely see me their"

She tells me with certainty.

"Hmm, speaking of those guys it's already 5:58. Jojo, Albie, and Janus should be here bye now."

Just as I say that I hear a-

*bing*

-coming from Sam's phone.

She pulls out her phone and then says to me, "It's Jojo, he just texted me,

he said they all went ahead to the cinema already. I guess we should go and head down their then. "

As we arrive to the cinema we see Albie and Janus waiting outside for us.

Albie Spotters is a tall buff handsome guy who has olive colored skin and long dark black hair that always tied up in a man bun and I guess you could say he's your typical football jock.

"Over hear!"

Albie shouts and we wave to them.

"Where's Jojo?"

Sam asks

"He's using the bathroom, he said he'd be out in a few."

Just as Albie responds to Sam, Jojo walks out and demands, "Let's get this party started!"

Jojo Leon a tall skinny guy with a light skin and boyish frame and always wares pink button ups or tank tops. Jojo has always been the overly excited and likes to take everything just a step further when it comes to hanging out but that's what makes him so fun and exciting to be around.

For what has been years Janus, Albie, Jojo, Sam, and I have all been the best of friends who would always hang out together, cause trouble, and party. It's always a crazy day when we're all in the same room together.

First thing we do is hit the arcade before we go see are movie.

Sam and Albie play the basket ball hoops, while Jojo goes and gets some drinks and food, and I play the motorcycle racing game as a twenty dollar bet against Janus.

After a few hours we go and watch a cheesy horror movie and have a great time and laugh at its terrible quality and plot. Then after the movies over we go and get a bite to eat at a

Chinese buffet/restaurant.

When we finish with that we go to the park and talk about what an amazing time we all had and all the things that have happened over the summer.

Sam then brings up my upcoming birthday party and ideas for what we should order to eat while where there. At the end of the night we're all worn out and tired so we go home to get some rest.

When I get home I see my Dad asleep on the couch with the T.V. still on. He must of fallen asleep while waiting for me to get home. I get a blanket from the closet and rap it around my Dad then I go to the bedroom, change into my sleep ware, and then go to the bathroom and brush my teeth. When I look up to the mirror I see Latino girl with long curly brown hair tied in a nappy pony tail and light hazel eyes with dark bags underneath them staring back at me. I take my hair tie out, wash off my face, then head to bed for a long sleep to end of the night.
