DENIAL-(Retraction)

The Alarm clock rings...

Lukito screamed and cried out of pure agony then saw his aunt standing by the door.

"You're still crying about what happened 8 years ago? Tsk, you really are pathetic."

My aunt said while she litted a cigarette and left.

After the events that happened, Lukito was transported to the custody of his aunt named "Marline" She lived in a small apartment at the city. She was kind at first, just with the ordinary house chores. So it was no problem for Lukito but then he discovered, she was an alcoholic. Then came the Physical abuse, making him despised in the public while constantly reminded him that he left his family to die.

Despite all of the years, Lukito still couldn't believe that his family was truly gone. He'd go to church everyday, Hoping that it wasn't reality and it was all just a dream.

"God please bring them back" he cried out, saying once again "I would do anything to bring them back."

He didn't know why it all happened, he didn't even know what to do anymore.

He started to become more paranoid before and starts untrusting the people that surrounds him, thus making him a loner.

People in his class started to think he was just a paranoid weirdo, since they didn't know the truth. So they kept away from him but Saimon knew everything, yet he still chose to ignore Lukito's past and comforted him from everything he went through.

It was one sunny morning, Lukito packed his stuff and was ready to head off to school. He was about to exit the house when Marline shouted "HeY! DiDn'T yOuuu ForGET someThiNG"

"No, I don't think that I forgot anything. I washed the dishes, cleaned the toilet and I refrigirated the bottles of beer you ordered yesterday" Lukito replied with a sigh in the end.

"Now, listen HERE YOU lil shit" Marline said while she stood up, clearly drunk. "I don't know what your father thought you but *hiccups* I! AM IN CHARGE HERE! So you better watch your mouth" she slurred out while almost tripping on her first step.

Lukito quickly replied with an Okay and left the house.

As he was walking, just a couple of steps away from the house, the neighbours door loudly opened and a young girl appeared with light-brown hair, came rushing out. She looks tired and was carrying alot of books, some looked like copies of another one.

The girl saw Lukito's body and thought she might get some help from him.

"Hey.. Uhh sir, would you care to help me for a minute before this boo-IYAAH!" The books crashed onto her as she fell with her knees on the ground.

Lukito sighed and said with an unwilling tone "Here, let me help you with that." As Lukito was picking up some of the books, the girl looked at Lukito and was a bit shocked.

"Hey, aren't you the guy that always sit at the back of the class?" She said.

"Yeah, What are you gonna do about it? Gonna call me a weird now?" Lukito replied with disdain on his voice.

"Huh? What?! No no no I just thought that you didn't really talked that much in class." Said the girl, embarrassed.

Lukito carried halfnot the books as the two walked together to school.

Then Lukito got curious

"Why are you carrying so much books anyway?" Lukito asked.

"Well, it's my friend's books, I did their assignments last night for them." She replied while looking down.

"So, that's the trend now? Doing assignments for one another. They do your assignments too right?" Lukito replied with a frown plastered on his face.

"Well... No it's kinda my thing to do their homeworks because they said that it's my job, since I was the smart one in the group." Lowering her voice in the end.

"Then they're really not your friends, are they?" Lukito said while looking at her.

"Huh?!" The girl looked suprised and looked at Lukito.

"Well it's pretty obvious that they're just fucking using you." Said by Lukito with a hint of disgust.

Trying to ease up the conversation, the girl tried to change the subject.

"Language man, anyways my name is Ali'-"

"We're here *sigh* Anyways find some new friends, here are the books." Lukito said while giving the books to girl and walked inside of the academy. The girl stood outside for a minute, then walked inside as well.

"They're not your real friends are they, jeez. What gives him the right to say that, it's not like he even has any friends." She thought to herself with a frown plastered on her lips. "Hmph, I'll just forget about him." She said to herself, returning her smile once again.

As class started, the girl was approached by her so called "friends".

Random girl #1: Hey Alisa! Got our homeworks done?

Alisa: Oh yea, here you go.

Random girl #2: Thanks! You're really great to help us out this much.

Alisa: So um.. can I like join you at lunch or something? I mean, were a group after all.

Random girl #2: Oh sorry, the table is full already. Maybe next time when one of us isn't there, you can join.

As the two girls left, Alisa sat on her seat. Dissapointed, of what just happened to her. She kept her silence.

"So, your name is Alisa huh."

Confused on who said that, Alisa turns her head and saw Lukito sitring behind her.

"Huh? Yea, So? What you gonna call me gullible now?" Alisa replied with a very frustrated tone.

"Nah, but I'm just gonna say that I told you so." He declared.

"Hmph, whatever."

Alisa was still very annoyed of Lukito but she thought for a moment.

"What if he's really right..?" She asked herself.

Class ended normally as it should with each individual student, getting their own assignment.

Random girl #1: Hey Alisa! You know the drill, here are the books an-

Alisa: You know what, I thought about it for a while. Maybe you guys should do it yourselves. I get tired too you know?

Random girl #1: Awee but sweetie it's your role in the group. You just can't say no all of the sudden.

Alisa: Well then, *takes a deep breath* I quit.

Random girl #2: Hahahaha nice joke, you're only joking right?

Alisa:Nah I'm serious, BYE!

Alisa walked away trying to chase Lukito which she sees from a distance.

Random girl #1: GO AHEAD! You're the one in a losing situation! BITCH!

Alisa didn't mind any of the words they said and just went to chase after Lukito.

"Hey! Hey! Wait up!" Alisa screamed at Lukito, making him turned his head and looked at Alisa, chasing after him.

"Oh, it's you" Lukito said.

"Hey! I did what you told me to do!" Alisa exclaimed.

Lukito only said "okay" as he kept walking.

"YAH! DON'T IGNORE ME!" Alisa shouted at Lukito.

"Lukito... I want to be your friend."
