Yan Qingsi initially had a frown on her face and she did not know why she was so tickled by his words that she laughed.
Yue Tingfeng hugged Yan Qingsi, his forehead kissing hers. "I haven't been alone with you like for a long time," he sighed.
"Is this… Our first real date?"
Yue Tingfeng flicked Yan Qingsi's nose with his fingers. "Of course it is. I've come so far to see you for a date. I bought a bouquet for you on purpose when I went to your set but you've forgotten already. Flowers symbolize a date, you know?"
Yan Qingsi remembered that bouquet, a bundle of blue cornflowers. It was the most beautiful bouquet she had ever received in her life.
Yue Tingfeng pinched Yan Qingsi's cheeks. "You've neglected me for so many days," he complained. "It's about time you give some attention to me, no? Milady?"
