Yue Tingfeng sat down. "Jiang Lai called?" Mrs. Yue asked.
Yue Tingfeng put the phone down and picked up a slice of watermelon. "That's right. He loves to loaf around on the job. He'll whine to me if I don't go to work for half a day and urge me to come. Says that the company can't run without me. Actually, he's just looking for an excuse to laze around."
Mrs. Yue gave Yue Tingfeng a fisheye. "Sure, as if I don't know you. Jiang Lai is an excellent worker. He's just unlucky to have an unreliable boss like you."
"Mom, how can you blame me? I paid him highly, yet he keeps giving me things to do. I wanted to let myself relax a bit, you know. It's me who's unlucky for having such a lazy subordinate. I just happen to be able to keep my temper."
"Then just fire him. You're not the type to sit back and take abuse."
