6. Entering Land of Dawn

"No, no. You got me wrong. There is a city called Srytia, you just probably never heard of it."

Hayabusa, a fair, tall, healthy guy wearing typical ninja outfit with a bit of added armor plates on arm and shoulders.

"There is no city called Srytia in Land of Dawn"

I felt a bit of shock and excitement as I heard what he said.

"Wait... I'm in Land of Dawn?!"

"Yes you are." "Would you explain how did you end up here?"

I explained everything which happened at V.E.N.O.M. headquarters.

"I see... I understand, sorry for accusing you of being a poser"

"You don't need to apologise... I'm pretty sure anyone here would do the same"

"So, what are you planning to do now?"

That question caught me a bit off guard since I don't know the answer to that myself.

"I don't know, really. But I want to become stronger so that I can fight against V.E.N.O.M."

"Weren't you strong enough to get captured by V.E.N.O.M.? There's no other reason for them to capture people"

"Well... it was my sword, my sword was enchanted. But it lost its enchantment since I entered land of dawn."

"Enchantment? Is that something people do in your realm to make themselves stronger? If so then why did they decide to capture only you?"

"Yes, and no." "Only a few mages know how to enchant weapons, I was lucky enough to meet one of them and had my weapon enchanted. In exchange of money of course."

"I see, well then. It's unsafe to leave you here, would you like to join us? We're on a mission to find the traitor of our clan. I can teach you combat as we continue our journey."

"There's more people?"

"Just a childhood friend of mine."

"I see, alright! It's a pleasure to travel with you. I owe you my life and I need to find a way to repay you as well. Thank you again."

"You don't really need to." he replied in a cheerful tone. "It's settled then, let's get going"
