Guardian Of Nightfall Dragon

Yuina closes her eyes and focuses on the music that is played right now. The elders in the village agree to play the instrument as they claim it has been long since last they play it. She tries to absorb herself into the music and she slowly raises the sword.

Still closing her eyes when she moves her body with such delicate and slowly. In her previous days in castle, she usually dances using a folding fan and always practice it while Hayden watches it. Or sometimes, her father will accompany her to watch her dancing at the West Wing. But most of the time, it is Hayden who was there. Guarding and watching her dance.

He would lean on one of the pillars, folding his arm around his firm chest and his eyes...never leave her figure at all. All of her ladies-in-waiting will be standing at the gazebo and some of them playing the instrument. This memory of her makes her slowly opening her eyes to face her reality now.

She could see Hayden still looking at her like he used to watch her in the castle and beside him, there are another three people who watch her with full adoration on their eyes. All the villagers also start to applause their hand and cheering on her. Slowly, her lips curled up into a tiny smile. Her eyes were full of determination. She will..she will make them happy even though it just for tonight. Give them a new spirit to continue on living through the dance.

Hayden did not leave his eyes to the woman who was dancing right now. Her movement and her body move smoothly. Just like when she was dancing back then in the castle, except this time, she uses a real sword.

Each time she moves, the fire behind her also move like it dance along with her. At first, he was a bit curious to see those weird phenomenon, but once she opens her eyes, looking at him and smile after that. He knew. This is what they called 'destiny'. She is indeed the reincarnation of the Red Demon King. A dragon who can control fire.

Yuina kneels down with one of her leg bend on the ground and her one hand holding the sword that she jabs on the ground while her other one hand stretching back with the sword.

Ending the show, all of the audience standing up and giving her loud applause. It so noisy with the sound makes by them and she bows her body slightly, a bit panting looking at all of them. Her smiles never leave her face.

Once the show is done, Hayden stands up and look at her for a moment before he turns around and leaves the place.

Yuina's eyes caught a glimpse of Hayden went away after the show. She suddenly feels a bit sad inside her heart. She and Hayden seem a bit drifted apart from before.

"Yuina!! You're such a good dancer!" Kyra runs to her and hugs her happily.

"Hahah..no..I use to dance before." Yuina scratches her head a bit.

"Ah! But I'm glad, I could see that! Really!" Kyra still hugging her. While Zane also went to her, patted on her hair gently.

"Good job Yuina. You nailed it this time." He smiles earnestly.

"Oh! Yuina, Yuina..we have good news for you." Kyra turns her head around, looking for that guy named Farrell.

"Erm...Kyra, Zane..excuse me for a bit? I want to see - "

"Hayden?" Zane interject and Yuina nodded her head.

"He might be at the back of the village. " He said. He could see she look a bit restless without Hayden around her.

"Thanks." She smiles at Zane and went to the way Zane told her.

Yuina stretches out her neck to look around the place.

At the back of the village, there's a cliff which is not too deep and it also had one and only tree near the edge of the cliff. Her eyes then caught a tall figure sitting at the edge of the cliff facing the other way.

She slowly approaching him.

Hayden could hear her footsteps, but he ignores it until she sits beside him. Looking at the same direction as him.

"How do I do?"

"Same as before," Hayden replied.

"Hmm. I know I had a talent in dance. I should dance more." She giggles a bit.

Hayden curling up his lips a bit making a small cute smirk.

"Hayden.." She turns to look at him.

Hayden also turns his head to look at her.

"You worry about me handling the weapon, right?" She stares at his black eyes. His face remains calm.

Lowered his gaze, he took Yuina's hand and look at her delicate palm.

"How could I not worry? I am supposed to protect you with my life. I don't want you to get hurt. Not any slightest scratch at all. But, I also know..I could do nothing for your eagerness, princess." He gently caressing her palm.

Yuina feels so touched to hear his gentle voice. It feels like her heart starts to throbbing for no reason. Her face flustered a bit. She then pulls her hand slowly and cupped on Hayden's cheek.

Her action makes Hayden flinch a bit. Surprised for her suddenly touch him like this.

"Hayden...I don't want you to be the only one who protects me." She said and still staring at his eyes.

"I want to protect you too. I don't want to be your weakness anymore. I want to be someone who you can rely on. I can't bear to lose you and I couldn't forgive myself if something happens to you because of me again."

Hayden's eyes look deep into hers. Like he was looking for the truth from her word just now.

"Princess..you-"

"Shh.." She put her finger on his soft lips. The touch makes Yuina gulps a bit. It was so soft and it makes her curious, how does it taste?

'Wait! Why would I think something like that? It's so perverted!' her face turns beet red and she immediately retracts back her hand.

"Ah..just forget about it. Ah! No, I mean..don't say anything..Wait! That's not right." Yuina start panic and she tried to hide her embarrassment.

Chuckle, he lifts up her chin and leans closer to her face. He kisses the corner of her lips and tilts his head after that. Looking at her adorable reaction.

"Uhm..you..you..you…" She stammering. Now her heart couldn't stop from thumping so loudly. Not only her face which is now turning red and burning, but her body also receive the same effect.

"That because..you're so cute." He teases her more with his stunning smile.

Yuina could not say anything at all. Her mind is blank and her heart racing like crazy.

"Oh! There you are!" Kyra said with a bit loud voice.

Hayden and Yuina turn their head to the source of the voice. Looking at the three-person which is striding to their direction now.

"Erm, did we interrupt you guys?" Zane looks at both of them with suspicious. One which clearly looks so red all over her face, while another one looking nonchalant.

"Ye-"

"No no, no no..we're just talking. Hehe.." Yuina reply makes Kyra turn to look at Hayden with squinted eyes and Zane almost laughing. But he immediately holds his laugh.

"Looks like something happen between you two." Kyra let out her suspicion.

"No no." Yuina waves her hand in the air.

Hayden secretly smiles to see her action. 'It's only a peck on your lips, dear. Many more will comes ahead. I wonder how you would react to it?'

"Fishy~ by the way..we need to clarify this." Kyra pulls Farrell sleeve to stand beside her.

"Yuina, this is the guardian of Nightfall Dragon. Farrell Miller."
