[Jessica's POV ]

One week later..

Well, that student will be arriving in about three days from today. Today's Sunday, which means I can go out and do some things for myself. I feel like going to the park today.

As my thoughts flow through my head, I start to wash up and prepare for the day. I should text Sabrina if she wants to hang out at the park.

SABRINA

Me: Hey Sabrina, I was wondering if you'd like to hangout at the park today 🙂

Sabrina: Yes! I'd love to. What time?

Me: What time is best for you?

Sabrina: I can hangout in one hour🤔

Me: That works! Okay, I'll see you later :)

Sabrina: Ok. Ttyl😊

Well, partial of my day has been planned. I head down stairs to the prepared breakfast that my mother has made. "Good morning mom", I happily said. Giving the smile to my dearly mother makes me happy because it makes her happy.

"Morning Jessica. Did you sleep well last night?", she said in a cheery tone. "Yeah, very relaxing one", I replied. I pulled out the chair to sit and began to eat the food that has been made. I didn't see or hear my father around the house. I'm guessing that he went to work early this morning.

"Where's dad?", I asked. "He went to go get some things from places. He didn't tell me what he was getting though, he should be fine", as she sat down in front of me, from the table with her plate of breakfast. Things? What kind of things? I kept questioning myself while eating with my mom.

I finished my breakfast and washed my plate, so that my mother doesn't have to do it. While my mother still eating, I told her, "I'm going to hangout with Sabrina at the park today". She chews her food down and replies, "Okay, just be careful of being out there". I nodded.

1 hour later

I kept walking to the destination to the park and step by step, it feels breathless. As soon as I reached there, I sat on a bench, waiting for Sabrina to show up. I see people walking, children playing at the small playground, and bicyclists. Yep, looks like a park to me.

"Hey", a voice that sounded familiar spoken to me. I turned my head and it was Sabrina. "Hey Sabrina. How's everything?", I asked. "Everything is well, you?", she said with a slight smile while taking a seat on the bench.

"I'm okay. My parents are back from traveling". "Oh, that's right! How was the trip of theirs? Was it adventurous?", she asked. "Yeah, they enjoyed it very much and took many photos", I said. "That's great, I'd like to go by your house one day and meet your parents", she happily said.

"It would be nice to come over", I looked at my phone for a second and a notification pops up. I tapped onto it and it was a another friend of mine that texted me. She moved last year.

Rylee

Rylee: Hey! It's been long since we last talked to eachother! I just wanted to come by and say hi. How are you?

I look at my screen for a moment and was unexpected to get a text from her because she wasn't into technology or anything. But in this moment I understand that she misses me and wanting to contact me. I looked up to Sabrina while she was looking at the view of where we were. "Uhm, Sabrina?", I said nervously. "Yeah Jessica?", she asked wondering.

"Something has came up in mind that I just remembered", I told her while playing around my hands. "Ok, it's fine. I'll see you tomorrow then", she told me. "Okay. Bye", I farewelled. Sabrina stands up from sitting and leaves from my sight while I headed to my peaceful spot.

Rylee. I've missed you for so long.

Sorry for a short chapter. I'm sorry that it was a while for an update. I've been busy with moving and getting things done at home. It's been a lot. I hope you understand, thank you!
