Maze Exploration : Death Room

Edgar threw a tube towards Rona. After the tube touched the ground, the tube made a transparent cube-shaped protector.

Without thinking, Edgar immediately jumped and slashed his sword at the monster's head.

Not having had the chance to touch his head, the monster's right hand grabbed Edgar's body. Sprightly, Edgar immediately slashed his sword into the monster's palm.

DUAR!

A small explosion occurred when Edgar's sword hit the monster's hand.

Even though he had attacked with all his might, the monster's hand was stronger than Edgar's attack and had thrown him against the wall.

Edgar tried to hold on, by landing his feet on the wall. Then he wears a leather vest from his inventory, and an iron masked helmet.

After finishing using additional items, he again jumped towards the monster's head.

"HA!!!"

Edgar shouted as he swung his sword.

And this time he managed to take his sword to the monster's head. However, the attack does not cause significant damage.

Edgar jumped backwards, and put his foot on the wall.

Suddenly, the skull monster counterattacked by firing light bullets at Edgar with barrage.

Edgar also avoided all the shots by running on the wall.

Rona who saw everything from within the protector said in her heart

"Obviously this is not an iron class or silver class fight" (Rona)

Edgar who ran over the wall then stopped, then held back the light shot with his sword.

After the attack was absorbed, Edgar immediately jumped, and tried to attack the monster's head for the third time.

"HA!!!"

Edgar shouted as he swung the glowing sword.

DUAR !!!

Edgar's attack produced a large explosion and made the surrounding area covered in thick smoke.

From the explosion, Edgar jumped backwards, pointing to the door that closed the aisle.

As he looked at his sword, it appeared that his sword had been broken with only a few parts remaining at the base of the sword.

"Hopefully this monster replace it with a proper loot" (Edgar)

After saying that, a light bullet from the monster pointed at him. Edgar dodged, and the light bullet hit the door that closed the aisle.

DUAR !!!

the attack also produced a large explosion. however, the door that closed the aisle was not scratched at all.

"As i thought, if you want to get out, you must defeat the boss of the area first" (Edgar)

"But ..." (Edgar)

When Edgar looked at the monster, a weapon of bone appeared in the monster's right hand. The weapon was like a sword attached to the monster's arm.

"Even without weapons, it's troublesome"

Edgar murmured.

Then, the monster turned towards Rona.

"Hey, you're not planning to attack her, are you?" (Edgar)

Rona looked desperate when she found out she would be attacked by the monster. Then, the skull monster thrust the weapon in his right hand towards Rona.

When the attack was very close, Edgar suddenly appeared in front of Rona with a body enveloped in white light.

A white shield appeared in his left hand and held back the monster's attack.

"How sly, oppose me in a manly way" (Edgar)

The monster also made two magic circles, and fired light bullets repeatedly.

"Shit" (Edgar)

DUAR! DUAR! DUAR!

Even the light bullets bombarded Edgar to make an explosion that was in barrage around Edgar.

"This will be endless" (Edgar)

Then, Edgar slashed horizontally, and the slash produced a wave that hit the monster's body.

DIAR!

After being hit by Edgar's attack, the monster stopped its light attack.

"I only have a little mana left" (Edga)

The dust that covered Edgar faded quickly. And Edgar was seen wearing a white armor with a shield in his left hand, and a shiny sword in his right hand.

"Hopefully the bond isn't too big" (Edgar)

Bond is a skill that converts HP to mana. Edgar was forced to use it, because he only have little mana left.

Edgar disappeared from view, and appeared above the monster. Quickly, he swung his sword at the monster's head.

DUAR!

The attack succeeded in the monster's head, and gave damage to make the monster retreat a few steps.

The skull monster replied with a light attack from two magic circles that appeared on his shoulders.

Edgar also activated his shield, the shield he carried raises three barrier layers in front side.

DUAR! DUAR! DUAR!

Every light attack that hit the area around Edgar produced a barrage of explosions.

"If you like light, I'll give it" (Edgar)

"Divine Garde!" (Edgar)

Edgar said as he raised his sword up. Then a white magic circle appeared above the monster.

When Edgar swung his sword, the magic circle fired thousands of light attacks that rained down on the monster.

"HARGH !!!"

Scream the monster when hit by a light attack.

Without giving a chance, Edgar jumped to the monster's head, and thrust his sword into the monster's forehead.

"HARGH !!!"

The monster roared when hit by Edgar's attack.

Edgar jumped backwards.

"Damn, I've burned a lot of HP. But its hasn't fallen yet" (Edgar)

"If this attack doesn't stop it, it's over" (Edgar)

Edgar also burned his HP until there was very little left.

Then, the sword in Edgar's right hand let out a bright light. And then, he ran towards the monster.

The skull monster thrust the weapon in his right hand towards Edgar. Edgar did not avoid it, he used his shield to resist the attack.

DUAR!

When the two meet, a strong wave arises due to a very heavy hit.

"HA..!" (Edgar)

"HA!!!" (Edgar)

Edgar shouted, trying to push his shield.

Edgar also deflected the monster's attack. After succeeding, he lunged forward.

Then, he swung his sword from top to bottom. The slash produced a powerful wave that hit the monster.

BRUAK!!!

There was a strong quiver when the monster's body hit the wall.

Without wasting the opportunity, Edgar immediately appeared in front of the monster. Then stick the sword into the monster's forehead.

With all his energy, he cut off the monster's skull with a blazing sword.

"HAAA !!!"

Edgar yelled when cutting the monster's head.

After successfully cutting it off, Edgar jumped back and prepared to receive a counterattack.

With a split face, the monster trying to stand up.

"You must be kidding me"

Edgar said when he saw the monster who was back on its feet.

after the monster stood up, its body fell down.

And then, a message appears in the middle of the Maze.

"You've defeated the Death Rooms guard"

"You are entitled to receive items as gifts"

"Remaining fifty-seven death rooms that have not been conquered"

"There are fifty-seven more?" (Edgar)

Edgar said while reading the message.

The writing turned into a light, which then entered Edgar's body.

The door that closed the hallway opened, and Edgar was seen in the form of a human who came out of the death room while holding Rona in both hands.

"You, i saved you. But you still ask to be carried" (Edgar)

Edgar said while carrying Rona.

"Y-ya, what else can I do, my legs and arms can't be moved" (Rona)

"If I can walk, I won't ask for your help" (Rona)

"Eh?!" (Rona)

Suddenly, Edgar Kneeling and fell down. Then he collapsed and spit out blood from his mouth.

"Damn, if my disguise spell disappears again, I'm finished."

Edgar thought who then lost consciousness.
