ACT XII: IN DEATH

"Shall we part?"

Edgar's concentration was broken by the mist suddenly appearing beside him. The odd mist whispered to him in great insistence, "You need to be in the flow. For it will disrupt the flow of the truth!"

The mist disappeared as fast as it appeared. Edgar has been silent for a few minutes trying to understand everything when a very high pitch noise broke out in one of the rooms. The alarm was on for some time and Edgar followed it in the room at the end of the stairway. He opened the door and entered. He sees himself in the bed with a lady, the lady in the pictures. They were talking happily while hugging in the soft white bed as Edgar looks at them at the back of the door. The two kissed, Kylie got up and went on the bathroom while Edgar remain in place, lying in the bed looking outside the room where a sycamore tree waves silently with the gust of the wind, he got up approached the door he passed by Edgar as he comes down the stairs like he was never there like he is a spirit always there, never there.

He followed himself downstairs in the kitchen. When Kylie followed down, she was dressed beautifully in a yellow business dress holding white laboratory coat, they started eating breakfast as they talked. Edgar can't hear anything but only sees the smiles from their faces and memories flooding in. After eating Kylie kissed Edgar like she saying "goodbye" to her love and got out. Edgar other -self smiled and stayed inside as her wife got out. Edgar followed Kylie in her car, leaving her husband in the house. She started the car started to drive off with Edgar that was invisible in her eyes. After a few miles, while her car was speeding away. The dashboard full of advance equipment started lighting many errors. She stepped in the brake attempting to stop it but the car continues to accelerate until she went out of control and crashed in the red brick wall.

Time slows down as he came out flying out the smashed windshield of the car. Everything blackouts as Kylie's car exploded and burns to dust.
