Control your flames!!!

Lucinda

" I love you, Lucinda Peirce"

I gasped, sitting up sobbing, clutching at my throat for something that wasnt there. A part of me that's missing. Those words repeat in my head, the voice so familiar.. but so different.

"Archer..." I stood up, pushing out the door and clutching my aching heart, the tears streaking my face.

"What am I missing" I whispered, before a sharp pain hit my head, causing me to cry out and crash into a wall, barely holding myself up.

"Archer" I squeaked, my vision turning black as I collapsed.

~~~~~~~
"What did you do to her!!! " A voice cried. I looked up, seeing a beautiful girl with brown eyes and dark hair, her eyes wide with tears as she screamed for me to pull the sword out of my gut. Then the image shifts, my arms wrapped around the neck of a man with silver green eyes, his black locks blowing in the wind as he leaned down to kiss me.
~~~~~

I screamed, sitting upright and smashing someone in the face. Archer winced, sitting back, rubbing his face and scowling at me.

"What were you doing?!" He demanded. I glared, struggling to sit up.

"Where is he!" I could feel something in my heart rage, a urge for release.

"Where is who?" Archer demanded, his eyes narrowing. I wiped my sweat and tears, struggling to remember. My hand went to my throat, for something that wasmt there.

"I-i dont know.." I whispered, the tears falling.

"I dont remember.." I cried, covering the sobs. I pushed myself off the bed, looking into the mirror, into my glowing gold eyes.

"You're beautiful " I glanced at my eyes, narrowing them at the hint if violet in them.

"What do you want" I demanded pulling my hair up into a pony tail, grabbing my sword from the corner of the room. I turned, locking eyes with his dark blue ones, anger quickly filling their depths.

"I dont want ANYTHING from you" He stalked forward, his body inches from mine, hostility, clear in his features.

"When you passed out and scorched everything around you, The first person called was me. The only reason your not in jail for arson, is me" He glowered at me.

"So Lionheart" He spat, his dark eyes growing darker by the second.

"Tell me. How did you manage to burn the apartment complex down to the ground. Did you use a lighter? Did you use your stove?" I felt my blood boiling, and in the mirror I could see the violet in my eyes starting to turn more prominent.

"Are you a true maniac" Like your father

I screamed and punched him in the gut, punching right through his armor and bruising his stomach, and shoving him, watching him stumble back, his eyes widening.

"Christopher!!!"

I screamed as everything in me erupted.

****

Archer

I pant, hiding from the ashes of the infirmary room. Screams of startled patients and doctors fill the air. I stare at the girl in front if me, Fire rolling off her in waves, her eyes glowing gold.

"What the hell" I demanded. I took a step forward, and her eyes darkened.

"STAY BACK " She boomed, her voice distorted, making her sound ancient... powerful.

"Lucinda... I'm not going to hurt you" I drop my sword. I'm gonna need new equipment after this.

"You're a sinner!" She yelled, and my blood ran cold... could she know?? Images of that bloody knife dance through my mind.

"No I'm not. I'm here to help you" I could feel something inside me flicker, and a blood red aura flickers around me, fire crawling over my skin as I pushed into the flames, some how not burning alive. Every step I took closer to her, is another step into the flames that absorbed me.

Through the brilliance of the fire, all I could see was a glowing white from the center. Her aura.

"I'm not your enemy" I whispered, and like a switch, all the flames rushed at me. But as they hit me, they disappeared, leaving me full of energy.

"Lucinda Peirce... You're under arrest" I started, stepping forward. I could see a flash of her beautiful green eyes, before she collapses, and I catch her in my arms

"They cant know about this" I look around, and then lift her into my arms and exiting the burning hospital.

"CONTROL YOUR FLAMES DAUGHTER!" Father roared at me. I cant remember his face. All I can remember is his voice, and the feeling if fear.

"I'm trying father... I cant" I panted, feeling the flames start to boil off me. He sighed and snapped, and instantly darkness snuffed out my flames.

"Keep practicing daughter. You'll get it eventually."he left, the disappointment clear on his body. I sobbed and screamed as the fires over took me once more.

~~~~~~~
I screamed, sitting up, panting, drenched in cold sweat. I look around, my eyes darkening when I seen the mirror. My black hair brushed long down to my lower back, my eyes a glowing gold. I stood, looking down at myself. Strange armor.
"Archer?" I asked. I touched my head. Where am I. What happened.
"Down here" He called. I walked down a flight of oak stairs, my eyes wondering until I seen him, and stopped dead in my tracks.
Hes shirtless, his tones back facing me as he stands looking in a mirror, black cotton pants hanging low from his hips. He turned, tossing his ink black hair out of His eyes as he looks at me.
"Like what you see?" He asks with a smirk and I just ignore him, walking down the stairs. Slowly he turns away, lifting a black cotton shirt on his torso before grabbing a blue, black and silver designed chestplate and strapping it to his broad chest.
"Blue matches you" I speculated and he grinned, his full lips quirking up.
"Black matches you... " He amswered, looking down at the black armor covering my body.
"Red fits me better" I spit out before I could think, and he raised a brow.
" And how would you know that Lionheart, since you dont remember...?" He asked. I struggled to remember until my head was screaming with pain.
"Lucinda... your nose is bleeding" he noticed. I stopped, touching under my nose and pulled away to see blood.
"Its nothing" I scowled and wiped it away. He shrugged.
"And I just know." I hissed. He smirked.
"Theres a set of red and black armor in the back room. Go ahead and change. AND please dont burn this place to the ground. This is a guard station." He answered with an annoyed tone. I walked into the room and froze. Hundreds of sets of armor decorate the room. I walk over to the red and black armor set, my eyes scanning it as I imagined it on my body. Then I quickly undressed, dressing into the new set of armor. As I turned to walk out, I notice a sword, hanging off the wall.
Its blade is violet, with dozens of markings covering its surface.
"Katelyn can draw runes... the language of the fae"
"Who the hell is katelyn?" I asked aloud to myself before grabbing the blade. Instantly as soon as I touched it, it started to glow.
"Whoa" I chuckled, before walking over to Archer.
"Find a new weapon did ya?" He asked, pulling on black boots. I shrugged, putting it in a scabbard and dousing out its violet light.
Something about that light is familiar.
"I guess. I like it better than that shabby one right there" I point ar the golden sword that was dented and bloodied from years of use in battle.
Why did I keep it?
"Good. That other ones worn out. Its actually strange." He chuckles before standing. I felt a slight blush color my cheeks. Hes handsome.
"Ready to go?" He asked and I nodded. Then we stepped out the door.
