Underfell: Life Under the City~

A loud siren I haven't heard before struck my ears and pierces with a loud screech. My parents out for vacation, I quickly call them. No cell service. In a hurry, I look out the door's window and find children crying and running civilians. Still, in my comfortable bedclothes, I run upstairs to find my pre-made bag of goodies and needs for survival reasons. Getting my phone and spare charger, I slide on my slippers and start to run past everyone. "Why are we going to town hall?" "Wheres the mayor?" "What's going on?" millions of questions swarm my head as I reach the town center. The mayor and military services are guiding people down under the knocked over town monument. I jump back and squeak as a crack opens in the earth from behind me. A large boil of lava meets the cool midnight air. "Run, hurry, they aren't human!" The mayor shouts from afar. Kids scream louder. My head pounds from anxiety and peer pressure.

I finally make my way down and under the busted marble monument. A great large city meets my flashing and teary eyes. I shake as I watch. Crops grow from corner to corner, apartments sky high fill the area. It's an exact replica of the surface. "Find your guardian, Savannah." A look over to find a tall man with glasses checking off a clipped paper. "They're out, were on vacation." The man sighs and grabs me by the arm, dragging me into the far depths of somewhere I don't remember. I watch as the paradise underground that once met my eyes disappears into small nothingness. I close my eyes to try and remember the glistening water from above us. Out of nowhere, I'm shoved into a large area. The man leaves and locks me in a cage. "Jump." His last words repeat in the echoing cave as he starts to walk away.

A large hole fills the caged area. I stick my hands through the tiny crevices in the gate. My feet sit on the edge of the long drop. With an unhearable scream, I let go and drop to what I think is my death. After what feels like forever, I land in a small pile of golden and fluffy petaled flowers. My head goes light as I look around. "Why hello there, I'm Flowey!" I keep my gaze down at one of the flowers, who stands a bit taller than the others and approaches me with long vines. "Where am I?" I ask as I hold my head. "Am I dreaming?" "No silly, you're in the underground! Be careful, mom is scary though." "Mom?" With a small break in between my words and the flowers, a beautiful lady comes from the shadows. Her eyes pierce with reds and golds as the bag heavily down her face. Her white and what looks like fluffy fur is clean and kept. Her horns are crooked and chipped. "Stand back, child. I'll protect you from this devil of a flower!" "No, but wait!" I stutter as I watch the kind and yellow flower burst into flaming crisps of gold from some type of blue flame. The women looks back at me and practically towers over me. "I'm the queen of the underground, Toriel Dreamurr. Please, child, don't let that flower get to you. He's bad news." I tilt my head to her confusing words. "I must be dreaming." With a sigh from Toriel, I start my new life in the underground. Making new friends and being a pacifist or ending relationships by being genocide.
