{A New Path}: Demon Exterminator

"When this world first came to, the number of things dominating the sky certainly didn't include this giant cube." Amell floated down with Alora gracefully sitting on his shoulder with her legs crossed, looking like a princess. "Let's take it down!" When he landed on the cube, he lightly tapped the ground with his toes and the magic causing it to fly disappeared and it started falling rapidly towards the ground. As any asteroid would, the cube caused mass-destruction when it touched the ground.

With a smirk, he dusted off the non-existent dust on his shoulder and said. "That was enjoyable." Still floating up in the sky where the cube had been. "Let us go see how many demons are still alive after that."

The only structure that adorned the cube was now in tatters, destroyed and wrecked beyond recognition. Still, from the rubble, multiple figures were seen walking out, most of them looked hurt, albeit just slightly. One of them held their arm which looked to be bent in a strange direction. It seemed none of them had expected this at all, and why would they, Amell made sure of it himself after all. Amell made his chuckle echo around them as he came gliding down in front of them.

"What happened here? Looks like someone dropped a massive cube on your heads. Need a hand?" He didn't see every member of them here. He only counted, Kyoka, Jackal, who had been resurrected again. Torafuzar, Ezel and Seilah. The others might be dead or away from the base at this time.

"AMELL!!" Jackal at this point didn't need an introduction. Even after two consecutive deaths, he still hadn't learned patience. He jumped right for him with his hands glowing, signifying his usage of his explosive curse. Like before, he didn't get far, an earth-spear shot up from the ground and pierced his chest. Again, he had died without accomplishing anything.

"Disappointing. I guess I shouldn't have been so excited about this." Alora had been the one to kill him this time. Three deaths now, from three different people. And, since their base had just been destroyed, it wasn't a certainty if he could be revived again. That is, of course, if they could live through the day.

Suddenly hundreds of vines erupted from the ground to snare themselves around Amell. They move quickly and in almost no time, Amell and Alora were covered in a cocoon of thorns. This is was the master of Tartaros. Mard Geer sprung up from the rubble with a frown on his face. His gaze lingering on the Demons Gates. "Which of you incapable rubbish pathetic pieces of garbage decided to antagonize this monster?"

"I wasn't aware we were at war with someone like him." He said silently after finishing berating his subordinates.

The thorns abruptly started to melt into goo as the area got notably hot almost instantly. "You are not. Being at war with me would suggest I deem you a threat." Amell had the smallest flame lit over his index finger, pure white in colour and comparable to holding a miniature sun.

"Amell... Do you expect to face this many and walk out without a scratch? Even you will lose something with these odds." Kyoka said calmly. She wasn't particularly nervous, despite him having just taken down their base. Mostly because of her extreme arrogance and belief in demon superiority.

Amell didn't have time to respond to this, as Mard Geer acted first. He drove a thorn straight through her chest without a single shift in expression. He stood completely stoic as his thorns ripped her apart, limb by limb. "Eighth Saint. That's two demons and our HQ. We don't have to take this any further. If my subordinates have harassed you, it was done by their own accord. I ask that you do not push any further." He mercilessly threw her corps to the side.

"I applaud your decisive nature. It is commendable, and if you had left my granddaughter alone then perhaps I would have left you to the younger generation." Alora jumped down from his shoulder with a grin, her tiny frame somehow still towering over the demons more than twice her size.

"You go extinct today." Amell disappeared and Mard Geer was blown away from a punch to the face. "Alora, the rest of them are yours to deal with." He said as he flashed after the disappearing demon.

"Okay, boys! Who's up first?"

"You asked for it!" Torafuzar dashed forward brandishing his bladed arms to slice her in two, or three. But, without effort, she punched against his incoming elbow and completely destroyed the demon's right arm. "Oops, too much force."

"Die!!" Ezel disappeared in a burst of extreme speed, but a long and slim dragons tail appeared from Alora's lower back and wrapped around him before he could get close. It moved even faster than him, and it seemed to have a life of its own as it flung him around smashing him into the ground and random rocks and boulders.

"This is fun!" Alora appeared behind Torafuzar as he was about to summon his cursed water and punched his head clean off. Sebas would definitely have been proud of that kill, as he was a big fan of decapitations. They were quick, clean and effective.

"Seilah, right?" She turned her gaze towards the female demon who had by this point given up. She had drowned in her own despair. She sat with her head between her legs shaking from fear. She still had fuzzy memories from dying to Sebas and Aurora. Now she was going to die again.

"Here, have some pity," Alora summoned a ball of black flames and threw them at her. In seconds, Seilah's screams died out as her body disintegrated.

"Okay, that might still have hurt, my bad." Alora held up her hands in apology as her tail still abused Ezel like he was a pinata. When the abuse stopped and she observed what her tail was holding, she found it to be nothing but the torso of what ones were, Ezel. His body was now laying splattered a little all over the place.

"Only one left. After this, Lord Amell IS going to take me somewhere more fun. This is not enjoyable." She blew him to smithereens with some black flames, letting him go out in extreme tortures pain.

Mard Geer was surprisingly not having a good time. Surprisingly to him, that was. He imagined Amell commanding incredible power, but everything he did didn't seem to affect the man at all. In comparison, his curses might as well have been sneezes.

"Do you know, I talked to Zeref not long ago. He isn't your biggest fan, you know. He just mostly finds you annoying. Not to mention your cause is pointless." Amell had found comfortable seating on a medium-sized rock as he fiddled with a tiny little White Lotus piece.

"Memento Mori!" Streams of dark energy engulfed Amell from all sides, covering the world in total blackness. It didn't last more than a second as a giant white hand penetrated the darkness and grabbed hold of Mard Geer.

Amell's voice echoing out all around him. "Stepping on bugs isn't that exciting and wouldn't bring much pleasure or joy. As such, you can imagine my feelings at the moment. So, I will take the initiative to end this little scuffle." With one powerful squeeze, a loud splatter was heard as the giant hand got drenched in demonic blood.

"How anti-climactic. But what did I expect from these kinds of opponents." Amell dispelled the dark lingering magic just as Alora arrived with a smile.

"I see you cleaned up nicely as well. Was he tough?"

"Current Fairy Tail standards, yes. Only Makarov and Laxus might realistically be at the same level. Gildarts is a given, he could have won after a while, no problem."

"How strong do you think those kids will be when they're finished?"

"I don't know. I am guessing the dragon slayers will be a force to be reckoned with. I am expecting great things from Natsu and Gajeel. Those two have a great will-power and it can take them far."

"Doubt it, they looked super weak." She jumped up on his shoulder again, expecting a free ride home. "Giddy-up! Let's go home!" She tapped him on the head repeatedly and pointed forward.

"Since when did I become your steed?"

"Since just now! Giddy-up!" She now hit him a little harder.

"Fine, but if you suddenly lose your magic and I accidentally drop you into the ocean with all the scary monsters, it's probably not my fault." He took off, causing a sonic boom and breaking the ground apart.
