Hasini

Long back Somewhere near the Iravati Kingdom of prince Dharm, there lived a beautiful green eyed little girl with her mother. Her mother was very poor, was a washerwoman and brewed wine to earn a living for herself and her daughter.

Hasini's mother worked very hard day and night, washing clothes ironing them with heat, collecting cheap coal , dry leaves for burning, cooking, at the night brewing wine. Hasini helped her mother with all the work. She worked in the rice fields to get some rice for her mother, and also worked extra time to get more rice to brew rice wine. Even with all the hard work Hasini does under the scorching sun her beauty outstood every one in the village and also the town. As usual rich farmer's sons started offering her, gave her costly gifts and were regular customers for her wine shop. At the end of night all drunken young men starts pulling her uttering her name and then falling on her, or trying to lay on her lap. She being a gracious quite woman didn't like at all being their waitress but upon mother's orders and for sake of her and her mother stomach and for the medicine of her mother she tolerated this uptill age sixteen.
