San Wu's Past (3)

Nighttime.

Group 21 quietly approached the herdsmens' camp. The cows and sheep were sprawled on the ground as they fell asleep, bathing in the moonlight. Some were unable to fall asleep, as they whispered a few times and lazily flicked their tails.

A few hours ago, there were bright lights and occasional loud song sounds in the yurts. This was a regulated group of herdsmen. They had a fixed grazing area. Nomadic herdsmen who wandered with their sheep were rare nowadays. They mostly had specific houses. Yurts were only temporary residences. Every year, when the weather was warmer, some herdsmen would chase the cattle and sheep away to live there.
