17-year-old Amelie Williams is an African American smart witted and humorous bookworm who is constantly bullied by the popular kids that make up 80% of the school's body.



Struggling in an orphanage where no one cares, Amelie is on her own.



One day she finds an enchanted book that carries her to the distant future. But the future isn't what she thought it would be. Aliens, invasions and a heap of confusing situations join Amelie on... a ride in the future.
