*********Arch Ramos Rockheart - Aru's Past ***********

It was the last day of the Hindu calendar month of shradh(ritual in the memory of ancestors), 1st Sunday of the English calendar month of October also known as Halloween.

In the remote town of Mahabaleshwar, it was unusually raining that night when Myra had to rush to the City Hospital as she was experiencing labour pains.

At 2:55 AM, a child was delivered, the doctors were shocked as the baby boy was not breathing, they tried routine of artificial breathing but all was in vain as the child foetus was declared dead, since there was no pulse or heartbeat. Myra was in her half awakened state, she looked at the doctors and asked about the child as she didn't hear the cries of her newborn.

"I am sorry Myra, we tried all" the doctor said in a sad tone, but was cut in middle and saw Myra's arms raised in her direction asking for her child.

It was hard for Myra to believe that the child was dead as she had been awaiting for 7 years to finally be able to conceive a child.

The doctor handed over the dead corpse of the child to Mayra. Holding the cold child in her arms Myra hugged it for a minute and then looked at the baby's sleeping face a sigh left her lips and said "Wakeup child, your mother's calling you." Tears filled her eyes as she slowly fainted, all she could hear was a faint cry of a newborn.

The doctors and the nurses were stunned at the sight when one of the nurses broke the silence of others standing stunned pointing the time she recorded of the child's birth, it was 03:03:03AM. Another doctor snapped out of her petrification and said "I think we were a bit early to deliver him. Maybe it was not the right time. hmmm!!!! maybe....."

now all the staff were happy and rejuvenated as the cleaned the child and shifted them to their room.

After a couple of hours later Myra was slowly returning to her senses, she stared experiencing pain and as the effects of the sedatives were wearing off and with a heavy heart she looked towards the cradle next to her bed and was relieved to see the child sleeping peacefully in the cradle.

As time passed by the child grew up and 9 years later he successfully graduated from primary school and this occasion was very very important for him as he not just passed the exams but he topped the charts. But that was not the real reason for his happiness, he was happy because his father, a scientist at India's research organization who was busy in his research that was so secret and important that he couldn't even get out of his lab for the last 9years, not even to see his newborn child was returning home.

They had planned to go on a vacation together to spend some time together. This was going to be the best time in his life,.

He started to pack his luggage for the trip and stayed awake all night, however he never though that this will be the most memorable trip of his life and want events were going to unfold in the near future.
