BABY JILL FIRST B-DAY (P:1)

I woke up early in the morning, because today was Jill's first birthday. Yup it's almost one year I been staying here in the abandon city. I also found the five orphan kids, it was Roger, Simmon, Theodore, Alvin, And Lance. I found them in one of the nobles house treasures room. Will not likely be in the treasure rooms I found them scavenging in the nobles' houses. 

So they also organize their own teams or parties. Theodore was a Tank type who had only shields on him because he didn't like carrying another weapon, only the shield. As for Alvin's weapon was two daggers. I guess he might be an assassin, Simmon was the only one carrying a book, so I thought to myself he might be a book worm or a strategy for the teams. As for Roger, a small sword and he said to me one day he is going to use heavy swords, and as for Lance a bow he can protect Simmon from the back cause he was the tallest among us. 

One day,  when they encountered three goblins I thought they might be going to win because they were standing in front of the goblins. When the three goblins took their battle stance amd same with Roger's groups. The first one who made a move was goblins group with a swords, bow, and club. But before it hit on Theodore shields, Me or the goblins group couldn't believes what we saw. Roger's groups was started fleeing to ward the treasures room. Of course the goblins won't let go because they are taunting them so they also chase after Roger's group. Too bad for goblins teams they couldn't reach Roger's teams because they had so small legs. Well they almost like same height as me. But their running was kind of clumsy and also they were in barefoot. So it reduces their running speed. They locked up and came out for a couple of days, after goblins called for the other help but the treasure room didn't badge at all no matter how they bang it or dig or scratch and they gave up in the end. So we all don't know how to fight at all. 

So we did a group meeting of how we are gonna do to repeal some of the goblins. And Simmon gave suggestions that we should make traps since we don't like blood nor fighting. He gave us an instruction book on how to set up traps. The book  had little damage but we were still able to see the pictures and words. And now that we have this book we all started to try out this trap's instructions. 

But first we all tried small animals like wild mice, rabbits, squirrels, and any other small animals. What we put on the bait of course either fruits or meets. It took us a while to catch some small animals. It can't be done in a day or two, because we are newbies to this thing. Over months we have started hunting bigger one like boar who fall in pitfall traps and we use this same thing on our beach house for our self defence traps and also some sling straps that can trigger by slightly trembling the string and it triggers the traps.

As I clean up my self and baby Jill who was now awake and crawling in his cribs and tried to stand upon his two feets. "Good morning baby Jill and HAPPY birthday to you" I kissed her forehead. I also brought to her bottle of milk. And she suddenly fell down and got seated right away. She saw her battle of milk. She reached out her bottle of milk with her two hands and start sucking up the milk from the bottle.

As for me, I prepared bread with a glass of milk for my breakfast. After that I might go out but since baby Jill is also growing up I couldn't leave her here alone. So I asked Simmon and Theodore since they don't want to go out and check all the traps with us with Alvin, Roger, Lance and me. Will I don't trust Alvin for taking care of baby Jill so he tugged with us along to look for traps. 

First, we checks our defensive traps in our home base. Seconds, we checks in our perimeter traps, And lastly, We also checks for a small traps. The first and second we didn't get any monster got trap in our traps. And as for the last one we caught something like 6 squirrels and 3 rabbits. There's two kind of traps we set up, one was death trap and the second was to catch a small animals. A few days before, we set up this traps for Jill present for her birthday. To gave her a present birthday. So we hoped to catch a younger bunny one. But since we always saw a adult. We decided to look for the nest of rabbits. They gave a birth with eggs before it hatch now. todays is the season for the rabbits to look for food and preserve also is hatching season for the eggs. We might get lucky to find a the eggs that haven't hatched yet.

The abandoned city has now grown some weeds and some nesting animals, beasts, and monsters. As we looked at each corner of abandoned streets we saw some bunnies humping around, some birds poking on the floor who might find small food like insects or something. The quiet place have now become lively as the sounds of all kind of insects and animals. As we walk in the corner to hide our presents from any danger and looking for a home base of the bunny I mean their nesting ground area. 

Soon we haven't encountered any danger but we also found the nesting of bunnies. "Hey, look..." pointed by Lance we could see a far away distance. "There's a bunny 50 feets from us," I looked where Lance pointed her finger at and so the others. Their young bunny poking their heads on the holes. It has white color fur, blue eyes, 2 3inch and 2 2'n'half inch height standing pointy ears on the top of their heads, and their size was around 12 in half cm or 5 inch. The adult can grow a single spiral horn on their own forehead. The adult size can grow up around 9 or more inch height or their size. They can grow into adults within 5 years olds and give birth around 6 or 8 eggs they laid. 

We also saw the young bunny parents who were eating while the ears kept twitching to keep alert from any sudden sounds or unknown. "This is a good sign, we might be able to find another nest that has eggs while it is guarded by its mother," I said to them. So we made a plan, we decided to capture the parents of the eggs. And we just have to wait for the mate of the mother to come back. Later on, in hours passed by and the sun was at 25° angles in the afternoon while we ate our dried foods and whispered to each other. 

"Her partner has back..." said Roger and kept staring at the direction where the nest was. We hurriedly set ourselves and looked at the next place. "Alright guys, stick to our plan and we may be able to catch them both," I reminded them to not make a mistake because we have only one shot for this. 

Once the male bunny got inside the nest we just had to wait to make sure it didn't come out and our trap had already sat up. We just needed to put in the entrance of the holes. Until they felt like is the right time to set up the traps, They tep toe toward the nest and try now to make sudden sounds. This is their first time setting up traps where the animals was in the the territory or on their own nest. They able successfully set up the traps without making sounds or they might but I guess the bunny might thing just other animals passing by at their place. Once they need them they retreat back where they hide at the broken corner walls. 

The couple smell a unusual flavor in the airs and it was closer to them. They tried probe using their four ears that was keep twitching back in fort. And they haven't notice the danger. So they came out to see what was that kind of smell. There's a big wooden box that has something inside. That's where the indication where the smell coming from. Like both of them, their stomachs slightly make gurgling sounds and they start to salivate. The couples run toward the smell, before they inter they become cautious. Later a while they interred once they interred and start sniffing the food in front of them that has the color of brown yellow. It was Jill's favourite snack, its mangas dried fruits. They start grabbing the food with their little two pow hands, once they did the trap's triggers and they got startled and hopped around but it only bumped into trap walls. They tried to bash the instance where they came from or bite it with their two sharp tooth but that would be took awhile. 

Three kids who have been watching from the beginning to the end. We were excited that we were able to witness how we captured the couple's bunny. So we rush towards the two couples before they escape. We pick up the cage and cover with blankets after that so they won't escape. I went to the nest and I found 5 eggs we hurriedly put in the baskets with towels insides. And we went back home after a little celebration back then. 

"WE ARE BACK" we three said at the same times. With a smag of our face and grinning. "Ohh welcome back, so did you catched" asked by Simmon who was busy reading his books. "And yup we caught them" Roger opened up the traps and saw the couples who were biting the edge of the woods and they were almost chipping away at the woods. And got startled by the sudden different surroundings. So Theodore brought out the metal cage.
