Business Transaction

"As I was telling your daughter, I would like to do business with you. I'll need beasts Houtian mid level or higher."

"If you're looking to buy beasts then please be assured, we will definitely give you the best ones Houtian mid level or higher only." Lan Er's father replied happily.

This transaction would benefit both parties and he didn't mind.

'Also, such a request as simple as this, anyone can fulfill,' he thought.

"Great, with that said my last request is to keep this between us," replied Yulin.

"I dislike rumors going around and usually like to keep a low profile. I don't know when people will be out to get me, so I'd just like to be careful at this time.

Since this is business, I would like you to send someone to the Sheng clan residence once you have the beasts. Once there, ask for Yulin and if I'm not present then come back another time. As for payments, it'll be given during the time the beasts are presented."

Yulin decided that it was okay to disclose her information and who she was. As this business relationship was going to continue, it didn't matter whether the father and daughter duo knew.

It would only be a matter of time before they figured her identity out and plus the benefits far outweighed the risks.

Of course, she still had other hidden things that she wouldn't release. Plus they only know who she is and which clan she was from.

"With that being said, I'll take my leave. No need to send me out. I'm in a rush to do other things as well."

Before waiting for Lan Er's father's reply Yulin took off already. As she already knew, he would agree to such requests as it was easy.

During the moment they were still processing what Yulin had said. She had disclosed her name and clan.

Of course, they were shocked. Both father and daughter didn't know what to say.

Never would they have thought, this genius was from the Sheng clan. With medical skills like hers, Yulin was bound to have a great future.

It seems like the rumors they heard were not so true. Such rumors of her being a trash, then what would everyone else be consider?!

They were bound to keeping a good relationship with Yulin. Such a person was going to have a great future and they would benefit if they were friends and not enemies.

In the future, they would have to be respectful when meeting her and her clan.

.....

After walking out, Yulin continued towards the market.

'I'll have to make preparations for my family and the clan members.'

Yulins purpose of purchasing beasts were to raise the levels of all clan members, guards, and people who worked at the clan residence. Only this way will the clan grow stronger.

It was better to be prepared and have everyone on the same page if possible.

But first, she would need to see if those within the clan were worthy.

She had experienced enough to know that not everyone is trustworthy. Only a few are really there for you, the rest are usually out to get you or pull you down.

Her first step was to raise the levels of the clan members. To do that, she would need more resources. That meant she needed herbs to concoct pills, weapons, and beasts.

Upon arriving at the marketplace, there were lots of people doing their shopping and browsing. She continued down the market lane and spotted some individuals holding up a sign.

As she got closer, she saw the sign saying 'willing to work for a price.' As she looked at the sign and looked at the individuals, she noticed there were two male adults and three youths a few years older than her.

There were also many people who were also coming closer to take a look as well and the place seemed to be getting crowded.

Upon seeing the crowd gathering, the male adults holding the sign began talking loudly. Telling everyone that whomever is willing to take them in, they would work for them.

Or if anyone has a job, they can do the job for a price.

After observing for a while, Yulin noticed the bunch had a unique aura to them. Even though it didn't seem like they had high levels of cultivation, they certainly did not feel like ordinary people.

Yulin secretly took out her needles and threw two at each of those five individuals.

She wanted to see how long they could withstand pain on their bodies, and how resistant they were.

After the needles were thrown onto each of the individuals acupuncture points and retrieved using her connection with the needles, she sat back and watched.

The two male adults began showing disdained looks on their faces and they turned a little pale after a few minutes along with the youths. However, after a brief period all their complexions went back to normal.

'It seemed like they didn't notice what was going on,' Yulin thought.

What she did was to test their resistance to the pain. If it was other ordinary folks, they would've fainted due to the pain. But it seems these bunch are able to resist. 'Could it be that they have a good body constitution?'

It was hard for Yulin to determine, but if she was able to get these individuals to work for her then they would become great assassins or bodyguards.

Thinking for a brief moment, Yulin slowly got close to the bunch.

"How about you all work for me, I'll pay for your living and other expenses?"
