I’ve Got a Date

Thinking about it, after winning first place in Lecheng, Yu Luocheng figured he'd still have to head to the provincial capital to compete there. There'd be no way for him to help look after his father, then. It was just as well that Yu Yu had come home, so that there'd at least be someone to take care of Dad.

Now that she'd woken him up, she didn't appear to have any intention of letting him go back to sleep. She was chattering incessantly, with no end in sight.

Yu Luocheng could barely get a word in edgewise.

"Did you stay up last night gaming again?" Yu Yu asked, examining Yu Luocheng's bleary eyes.

"What's it to you?" Yu Luocheng muttered.

"Mom's at the hospital?"

"Yup. Why don't you go find her? You're disturbing my sleep." He didn't hide the impatience in his voice.

"How can you be so vile? I've finally come home, but you won't even spare a moment to talk with me!" Yu Yu was really losing her temper now.
