Running towards the location with a horde of hobgovlins throwing spears and arrows at Arthur wasn't easy , but he still managed to hold on , dodging as much as he could without getting caught by the army . Surprisingly enough they were very cautious while making great effort not to lose him , even in their rage , their reasonning weren't completely clouded by their emotion . But their cautiousness wasn't enough as they still followed Arthur far away from the city without them realizing it . Arthur saw the destination in front of him , and began to dash towards it . The hobgoblin realized something was going to happen and every single one of them was getting tensed as they excepted an army to appear .
To their surprise and despair , the moment the majority of the army was going through the dried up river , they heard something snap and they could only watch a literal tide going towards them . Before anyone could react , a large part of the hobgoblin's army died like this . Arthur from the sideline was smirked at the amount of damage made by the sweeping tide he managed to create .
The massacre pushed him to the end of level 12 , even if he earned only 25% of the EXP of each kill because he didn't directly attack them .
Arthur then decided to just finish the job as he killed the remaining monsters . Levelling up to 13 , he distributed his free point before heading towards the village .

He then headed immediatly to the hobgoblin's city . The city wall has fallen and the army completely dissapeared so the tension in the city was at its maximum . They felt defenseless and were afraid that an army would attack them in this state .
Most of the people remaining were woman , children and elders so Arthur didn't want to attack them . He simply looked around for what he guessed would be a city's lord or a boss . He ended up spotting some sort of mansion on top of a hill . This construction wasn't visible before he brought down the walls . He decided to sneak inside to not alert the other resident and kill the highest monster here .
Aftee succesfully entering the mansion without alerting anybody , he realized that the mansion was nearly empty . But he met with a larger and bulkier hobgoblin that had a nasty scar accroos its face , probably from a massive sword . As Arthur was getting ready to show himself and defeat the monster , it had already realized that a person has enteres its house sneakily because Arthur wasn't really good at hiding .
Before Arthur could move , the hobgoblin took the initiative and charges through the wall with a black huge claymore in his hand . Destroying the wall , he couldn't catch Arthur as the player had already sensed the boss' mouvements and simply dodged the attack . If he were to get pinned against the wall by this monster , it wouldn't end well for him .
The fight that started in the Lord's Mansion wasn't known of the citizens as they stayed alert but didn't imagine that the attack would come from inside . In the mansion , everything was a mess , the boss simply hacked through his whole house with his claymore , but didn't manage to hit Arthur once . On the opposite , Arthur kept throwing light stabs and slashes at the boss , but he couldn't overextend himself because his enemy's swordsmanship wasn't anything to scoff at , albeit weaker than his own .
The fight continued for a while with only the boss sustaining damage .
" Coward ! Do yoy intend to keep running away ?! " shouted the boss to evacuate his frustrartion and the feeling of being played with .
Even if Arthur was surprised that he could understand the hobgoblin , he didn't get distracted and continued his fight while sneering at the enemy's words .
The boss started using skills after he lost one of his arm to Arthur . There were things like sword's energy or battle cries , but the mansion was too far away from the city to alert anyone , so the boss was killed just like that , without hitting Arthur once .
System : Lvl 15 Boss Hobgoblin Killed . Obtained 150 EXP .
He thought that the level 10 devil minion was much harder to fight that this level 15 boss , and guessed that this dungeon was relying on number more than quality , considering Arthur had to fight something like 150 hobgoblins in total , but since the difficulty was hell in his case , maybe the number would be lower for other difficilty as he knew how hard it would be to take head on the army he wiped using tactics and luck . The notification that he cleared the dungeon appeared aswell as two items , rewarding the players who cleared the hell mode . The first one was a white graded sword , just what he needed . He was already happy with his gain in money , EXP and this item but when he saw the second reward he nearly cried in happiness . The second item he received was a trash rated flintstone recipe and was the reward of the first clear in hell mode . He knew how precious that was , and thought that he could put his first foot on his road to domination if he crafted a lot of these and sold them to players . Indeed , the price to repair equipments was outragious in blacksmiths and was the same now matter how many durability you lost . On the contrary , trash rated flintstones were cheap to craft , thus good to sell and repaired 5 durability with each one , also they could be used anywhere so players would save a lot if they used them . Unfortunately , no NPCs shops sold them so Arthur was currently the only holder of the money making machine . He just had to teleport to the most visited city and sell the flintstones. Although he couldn't afford a proper shop in a city , Arthur could technically set up a stand at a low price . Formulating his plan , he picked up the rewards , and at that moment not one , not two but three global announcements were made , much to the annoyment of other experts and even Arthur himself .
Global Announcement : Player Arthur Pendragon Is The First Player To Clear A Dungeon . Rewarded With 1000 EXP .
Global Announcement : Player Arthur Pendragon Is The First Player To Clear A Dungeon In Hell Mode . Rewarded With Title : " Monster Nightmare "
Global Announcement : Player Arthur Pendragon Is The First Player To Clear The Dungeon ' Hobgoblin's Dungeon ' In Hell Mode . Rewarded With 3500 EXP .
Earning a decent chunck of EXP and a new title ' Monster Nightmare ' he checked the effect of his title .
< Monster Nightmare > ( Rare Title )
Deals 7 % more damage to monsters ( not including demonic , undead , draconic or angelic types creatures )
it was a decent title , but nothing out of proportion , the thing is that a player could stack title's effect and probably nobody could get this title again . Or atleast for now . Arthur then left the dungeon , reappearing in the woods outside of the Steel Village . He then began to collect maniacally the ingredients for the flintstone recipe . After having a decent amount of provision , he was ready to start his business once the majority of the players would get to level 10 . The money making machine was on a roll .
