TEST DRIVE
A couple weeks later
"Have you prepared the imprinting procedure M.I.N.E.R.V.A?" Lucifer asked as he striped a large lab coat from his person.
"Imprinting procedure is ready to begin at any time, experiment parameters have been revised and proved to be ok, all is ready to go sir" The AI voices as number of screens pop up in front of Lucifer's eyes, displaying row after row of graphs, data and bio readings.
Walking up to a recently built square platform in the middle of the lab, Lucifer utters while closing his eyes and sinking into apparent unconsciousness "Begin"
As his words begin to fade, the platform begins to flash a blue light, as various runes and machinery that surrounded the square platform began to activate. As they do Lucifer begins to float and move into a horizontal position, while a rectangular table entirely made of small blocks that previously composed the ground, rises from beneath Lucifer. From both sided of the table small metallic cylinders sprang, culminating in arcs right above Lucifer.
As the machinery and magical circuits activated, the arcs begun to move up and down Lucifer's body, while glowing in a yellow light, as white particles begun to get sucked out of Lucifer's body, molding a white figure in his likeness just above his body.
"Preliminary procedure complete. Mind/Mind wave duplicate complete, duplicate reading within expected measures. Preparing bio sample extractions. Initiating activation of soul runes" M.I.N.E.R.V.A said, while at the same time the arcs disconnect and turned into fine blades that peeled a thin film of the cells that composed the skin on Lucifer's whole body.
Floating in place, the film of cells is promptly sucked into the duplicate of Lucifer that hovered above, covering each inch. As the final cell was put in place, the fine blades began to disperse, separating themselves into three centimeter clumps, that promptly began distributing themselves as though stars, all over the surface of Lucifer's real body.
Once in place, this stars begin giving out incredible flashes of blinding, at first every five seconds, later every three and so on, until the flashes happened so quickly it seems but a continues flash. However just as quickly it began to die down, the flash now occurring in two second intervals, with and intensity akin to a snuffed out candle.
"Bio sample extraction complete…Soul runes working at 70%...80%...90%...100%...Soul sample extraction has reached an impasse…Increasing number of runes, powered at 100%...Extraction failing… Accessing Element X power reserves… charge at 50%...60%...70%...80%...90%..." As the stars carried on their work, the M.I.N.E.R.V.A's dutiful voice sounded, carrying with it the anxiety of imminent failure, while she did everything for success.
The table disintegrates into small soul runes, leaving Lucifer's original body floating in place, reinvigorated by the influx of energy and additional soul runes, the procedure went on. The soul runes began giving out blinding flashes of light once more, with an intensity akin to a small sun.
"…100%...Holding charge…Holding charge… Reserves in imminent depletion…Success in these situations is unforeseeable…Proceeding to experiment's final measure… rerouting building's energy supply…Holding charge…Holding charge…"
More fluctuations, as the soul runes lost and gained intensity, yet inevitably the runes began to dim, while the AI coursed through the viable backups in her protocol. Unfortunately it proved to be far from enough to keep the process ongoing, as the soul runes finally gave out. But at the last second a wisp of something came out of Lucifer true body.
This wisp was ethereal, practically see through, however none would stare at it, for the heat and light it gave off was enough to incinerate existence. Its mere presence burned up the space and everything in the room, thankfully as it came out it was immediately absorbed into the duplicates body.
"Procedure failure…Partial Success, sample extracted unsatisfactory in accordance to predicted standards... unable to extract more, present sample is approved…wisp of soul absorbed into duplicate, proceeding to awaken main body" Right as the last rune flickered out, the AI began its report, yet the subsequent events paused it's analysis, thrusting upon its analysis an additionally element.
Opening his eyes Lucifer, steps out of the platform and turns back, admiring the duplicate crafted through his years of technological development.
"M.I.N.E.R.V.A Report" Lucifer utters.
"Mind duplicate success, Bio samples satisfactorily extracted, soul sample partial success. Experiment complete. Duplicate readings indicate it is within desired parameters." M.I.N.E.R.V.A informed.
Hearing her Lucifer frowns for a moment, yet ultimately sighs, knowing the difficulty of the last task, he lulls himself with the notification that the experiment's results were within his desired boundaries.
"Bring it here M.I.N.E.R.V.A. Make sure all safety precautions are in order and proceed within the experiment guidelines"
"Understood sir. It is advised the laboratory is changed as this structure has been compromised" The AI reported.
"Then let's go"

Descending a couple of floors, Lucifer and his duplicate where now in the same room as the Klyntar meteorite.
"Are we ready?" Lucifer asked as he looked back and forth between his duplicate and the symbiote.
"Imprinting procedure is prepped and parameters have been double checked sir" The AI informed
"What are our odd?" Lucifer further questions.
"As the Klyntar species present before us is an infant with no proper identity and taking into account sirs diverse measures, abilities and power, the odds of success are at 99.9%" The AI informs once more.
Receiving the information Lucifer nods and pronounces "Begin" as he closes his eyes and focuses his power, completely centered on ensuring the outcome of every detail that is about to come to go by his will, ensuring his experiment goes without a hitch.
Receiving the signal, M.I.N.E.R.V.A motions the duplicate of Lucifer towards the Klyntar biomass.
Coming into contact with the duplicate, the Klyntar envelopes and begins to absorb it, gaining knowledge, thinking pattern, DNA, abilities and skills the same as Lucifer's, yet as it dissolves every cell and brain wave, the exposed wisp of soul is touched by the Klyntar, which immediately let's out a shrill and tries to distance itself from it.
But upon being touched, the wisp trembles and as though in a seething rage by being provoked, it absorbs the black biomass that made up the Klyntar, until finally only it was present in the space previously occupied by the meteorite.
Floating in place was now only the wisp, while silence reigned in the lab, the experiment seemed to have failed.
However seconds later the wisp trembled and amidst blinding light a white suit begins to materialize seemingly out of thin air. Starting with a white helmet, the suit beings to take form, akin to anti-riot gear one would typically see worn by local enforcement agencies.
"Imprinting experiment is a success sir. The Klyntar species has been assimilated by your soul as predicted and the material reproduced is a mixture of your own DNA mixed with the Klyntar species, ensuring the suits loyalty and rendering theft impossible, as expected. Congratulations sir, part one of project suit is completed".
Opening his eyes Lucifer wipes the sweat of his brow as a satisfied, almost crazed smile escapes his lips, as he stares at his handy work.
"Great, then let's take it for a test drive" Lucifer smirks as he utters.
