Are you a ninja?

Henry touches his brows as soon as he ended the call from one of the investigators he hired to know about the little girl from convenience store. "Who are you?" he murmured. Usually his men are very efficient and can give him valuable information in an hour or two but now it seems someone trying to cover her tracks. They can't give him anything.

Not sure why but it bothers him thinking that the little girl might be in danger. He wanted to protect her. As he lives openly to public, it felt so nice that someone was not bothered to even look at him. He didn't feel angry, he felt normal and satisfied.

Due to this, his mood become devilish and no one tried to approach him that day. The girls who usually clings and try to get his attention inside the private room of a high-class bar decides to better live him alone. All of them just drink quietly on their own.

Henry's bodyguards who follows him anywhere also become anxious. It's the second time they see him throwing tantrums out of nowhere. It might be because of work or might be because of his father. In front of many people and media, their relationship as father and son is truly great which envy by many. But the truth is, they are like water and oil every time they meet privately.

His fatherly affection was all fake, the younger self was truly hurt by this but as he grew older, he learned to pretend and use it to his advantage which made his father very angry at him.

He was used but he can't get anything from his son.

Sab is looking at the wardrobe, her clothes where placed beside Tom's clothes. She can't still believe that she gets to marry a man like him, even it's fake.

Before, all she could think is on how to survive for the day. But now, all the clothes bought for her seems branded. She even has pair of shoes from formal to casual. She doesn't need to worry about bills and food anymore.

She felt happy and scared at the same time. Who would have thought that she'll end up marrying a great man after being sold to a gangster? Should I thank my Auntie Lina for this? she thought.

Sab look for pajama but after some time, her face heated. She only has transparent nighties with partner lace tong undies in different colors. "Who bought me these things? Hopefully, not the secretary," thinking of the possibility, her face even become red tomato.

"Are you not going to take a shower?" Tom asked as he walks beside the little girl who's face now red.

Sab instantly pushed the nighties and tried to cover them with other clothes. She planned to hide these tomorrow once she had a chance then she grabbed one of Tom's black shirt.

She looks at the man casually standing at her side and was surprised to see him topless and only wearing the small towel down.

Her eyes move from his face downward few times and blink. His muscles look firm and he has abs, not bad. Was that 6 or 8? He was not just a pretty face. No wonder a lot of girls chasing this man. His wide shoulder and defined chest seem very comfortable that lots of girls would be willing to throw themselves at him.

"You like what you're seeing?" Tom asked without looking. He initially thought to wear something before going out of the bathroom but then thinking that she'll share space with the little girl for a year he is unwilling to do it anymore.

Sab face become crimson realizing that she intently looks at the man almost naked. But remembering the 20 million damage fee, she felt irritated again. Blaming him that she was not able to make her best judgement because this man made everything so sudden.

Though their marriage was more beneficial for her, still she felt trapped and scammed. Sab face turned sour. Without saying anything, she pushed Tom and rashly went to the bathroom.

Tom did not expect the little girl's reaction. He saw her blushing in a second but then changed in an instant and found himself was pushed to the cabinet and before he could react, the bathroom door was closed with a loud bang.

Inside the room, Sab's heart was beating fast because of what she did. But also felt happy at the same time. He deserves to be punished. Shameless man! He's almost naked!! He didn't even give consideration. My eyes, OMG!! How can I face my future husband! I should be careful next time.

As she is preparing for shower, Sab stops moving and look at the woman in the mirror. She seems looking at another person with same sets of eyes. A confident looking woman was surprisingly her. Except on her new look, she didn't feel that she has changed.

Money is really something. It can create miracles even to her. Never imagine that she can look way better than she can remember the old self.

I look much better, much confident with her new look and different style of clothes. Aside from the bruises on her wrist which she gets from working as waitress/dish washer/cook/ janitor in restaurant, everything seems perfect. No wonder her previous workmates always look down on her because of her choice of fashion.

She looks around the bathroom which is way bigger than her old room. Even the bathroom looks sophisticated and expensive. She has 1 year to experience this luxury, she smiled tried to think no more and decided to enjoy everything while she can.

Afterwards, she must wake-up in this fairy tale. Better yet, live the most out of it. Then she felt a little guilty at the man outside. If not because of him, she might have been forgotten her old self and been living poorly.

Meanwhile, Tom is in dilemma if he'll punish the little girl or not. After a while, he decided to let it go since this is their first night as husband and wife. After he put on his pajama, he went to bed with his laptop. He still needs to continue working.

Sab enjoys the bathtub. It also made her thrill that she can control the water temperature. She saw a small bottle of lavender and decided to use it which helps her relax more. She felt like a kid playing with the bubbles while enjoying the lavender scent. After more than an hour Sab's decided to come out of the bathroom. It seems this man is a workaholic and no plans of sleeping very soon.

She walks carefully and sat at the edge of the bed. "Tom, can I ask you a question?" she asked facing her back. She felt a little shy with his shirt on, underneath is a lace bra and t-back lace underwear. Thinking of this, her face heated again.

Coincidentally, the person who bought clothes for her only got her sexy lingerie's, nighties, dresses and office attire. Nothing more. Tomorrow, she'll make sure to buy new sets of clothes using the card given to her by Tom. Since she'll work again, she will just have to pay them herself.

Little did she know that Tom was the one who ordered most of her clothes including the lingerie's. Thinking the half-naked self of the little girl, he bought only what he thinks would look better with her in bed. Of course, he did not shop personally. He just ordered them online using an app exclusive only for high profile and have them delivered at home.

Tom smelled the lavender scent from the little girl's body. Looking at her back, he notice that her hair is still wet. "Hmm..." he answered.

"When should I report to work?"

"Tomorrow"

"Okay," she answered flatly but she was happy. Thinking she can earn money again.

"Tom, can I ask you a question again?"

Tom paused before answering. "Hmm..."

"How will I get to work?"

Tom stops typing. "You'll go with me."

"Okay," Sab become happier. At least she doesn't need to use her little money for transportation. If she does, it will not be enough until her pay day.

She did not move for few seconds then her voice echoed again. "Tom, can I ask you another question?"

This time, Tom stops typing and closed his laptop. His brows lightly knitted but still answered, "hmm.."

"Though I finished college, I don't have any office experience. What kind of work will I do for you?"

Tom lips curved upward before answering. "Nothing"

Sab face turned sour again. She was excited to work in the office; it would be her first. This can be her steppingstone so she can get better job in the future when they go separate ways.

Now this man telling her that she will not do anything. Is he thinking that she'll go crazy and violates their agreement that's why he's trying to keep her up closed?

Sab turnaround but Tom was not on the bed anymore. When did he left? She felt goosebumps everywhere.

Her eyes look around and she almost screamed when he saw him standing in front of her.

Out of frustration, she kicks the man in front, but he was able to dodge it. "Are you a ninja? Why are you moving with no sound at all?" she asked without concealing the irritation. She felt like she's in a horror movie. Now you see and now you don't.
