Genius idea

Eira looked at Georg dumbfounded.

"Try it." George encouraged her and put the dipping sauce beside her dish.

Hesitantly she took the wrap and dipped the tip of it into the fish sauce. Then she took a careful bite out of it.

The crunchy salad and the crisp crepe were the first things she noticed. Then the filling hit her. The fatty pork belly was beautifully balanced out with the vegetables and the shrimp gave it a luxurious seafood flavor. The fish sauce complimented it very well and gave its own note of sweet, salty, sour and spicy with it. She hastily took another bite. In the end, she poured the whole sauce over the wrap and let it seep slowly through it. Soon she had finished the whole thing.

"This is so good. What is this?" She asked George.

"It´s a Vietnamese dish called báhn xèo. It looks like the French crepe but it´s savory and as you might have noticed the dough is different. I´ve eaten it a few times on my business trips. When you said quick, healthy and delicious food that was the first thing that came to my mind. And besides. This needs just a lot of preparation but making it is quick. I´ve thought that we could open a fast-food restaurant selling this." George revealed his thought.

"Hm, not bad. This one could be made entirely vegetarian, no even vegan too. You can put everything in it." Eira thought that idea over. While she was doing that the others had come to the kitchen to see what was happening. They smelled the food and came over.

George noticed them and immediately started to make some more. He quickly finished making their portions and gave it to them. They also finished it as fast as Eira did. It was truly too good. That was something they had never tasted before. In a single bite were different flavors in it like thunder it raged through their mouth and quickly as it came it was gone. It was almost addicting.

Before he could even make them another one they had already finished everything and are waiting impatiently. When he got one ready they stormed on it like hungry wolves.

Eira laughed out seeing that scene.

"Okay, I can see that this is going to work out. It´s lunchtime now so come to my office after that and we will work something out. Thanks for the meal. I´ll go first." And with that, she left the 12th floor to hurry to her office. She quickly started her computer and started to work out a plan.

George´s enthusiasm had taken over her and she was efficiently working on her plan. Helen came after lunchtime back to her desk and saw her boss still working hard. So she intended on walking down the cafeteria to bring her something to eat. But at that moment the elevator door opened and revealed a smiling George who held a big plate in his hand. The smell intoxicated Helen and she stopped in her tracks to see where that beautiful smell came from.

"Hello, Mr. Henning. This smells delicious." She greeted him.

"Yeah, I made it just now. I thought Eira didn´t have something proper to eat and made some for her. Do you want some too?" He asked her.

"Sure." She quickly agreed. To good food, no one says no, you know.

George handed her a wrap of what seems like salad around a crepe-like thing. She took a careful bite out of it. Her eyes shot wide open.

"This is so good. You made it yourself. You are incredible." She praised him.

"Thank you. I will go to her now." George walked past her and naturally opened the office door of Eira Morgan, the CEO.

Helen chuckled and didn´t stop him. She knew that it was pointless. He was already inside before she could say anything.

Inside Eira´s office, she heard the door closing and looked up.

"Oh, George you´re here. Sit down. I am almost done." She quickly continued to type on her computer.

George didn´t listen to her. He put the plate right in front of her nose and then leaned closer to see what she was doing.

"You shouldn´t skip your meals. You have to eat properly to be healthy. I still had some ingredients left and made you these. Eat them while they are hot." He lowly whispered.

"Y-yeah, I´ll eat them. Give me a sec." She stuttered a bit.

George sighed and turned her chair around.

"You can finish that later. You wanted to make a plan with me but you already went ahead to do it yourself. Why did you call me here for then?" He looked at her straight in the eye.

Eira gulped nervously.

"Okay, I got. I´ll stop." She pouted and fixated her focus on the plate on her table.

"I can eat these? Didn´t you give the others the rest?" She asked him.

"They got enough. This is for you. Now eat." He turned her chair around again so that the plate was in front of her again. She obediently took a wrap and ate it. Soon the second followed and the third. In the end, she ate all of them and patted her belly in satisfaction.

"That was good. Now we should talk about business." She excitedly stood up and walked to the lounge together with the plans she had already worked on earlier.

George followed her and sat down beside her.

"So, I´ve thought we should first launch it at one of the already existing restaurants to see how the people react to that. I´ve already looked around and right now there is no one who sells this dish. One more thing is that we should make it interesting for the people to easily recognize it and connect it to the Morgan Noodles brand. Is it possible to make something like pancake art with this type of dough?" Eira presented her plan.

"I think it´s possible. Maybe we can do dough with and without the turmeric. That is going to be our food coloring. Simple designs should work. Like flowers or a heart. We could make a wrapping with the Morgan Noodles logo on it." George also contributed his thought.

"That is a good idea. I want to test it on the main road first. If it´s going well we will open a new restaurant with it. I already acquired a couple of months ago a little building near the shopping mall. I think it´s the perfect location for our plan."

"I think so. too."

They both talked about some more details and didn´t even notice that it was already getting pretty late when they ended their meeting.

"It´s late. We should stop for today. I will finish up the rest tomorrow. You start tomorrow to perfect the recipe. Oh, and I want the preparation time to be shorter or to be more efficient so that we can store the ingredients better." Eira said before parting.

George saluted her and answered, "Yes ma´am." Then both of them parted to go home.
