(03) The Gifts

As Tony turned on his implant his vision instantly went black, and he could no longer feel his body. A loading bar suddenly appeared and ran its course. Once it was done loading everything lit up and Tony saw a miniature version of himself in front of him. A text bubble then popped up in front of him that said "Welcome Rise Of Dragons, you are one of the first 100,000 players to log on and may now spin the mystery wheel for some bonus beta prizes, as a beta player you can get 1-4 prizes" then a wheel appeared in front of him with the numbers 1-4. The wheel had 4 ones, 3 twos, 2 threes, and 1 four. Upon seeing the wheel Tony waisted no time and with great expediency spun the wheel as hard as he could. The wheel went around so many times Tony was worried it would never stop but, after what felt like an eternity it started to slow down to a stop on a 3, The moment it stopped the wheel vanished and a new text bubble popped up and said "Congratulations you have landed on a three, now it is time to award you your prizes". After reading the pop-up three gift boxes materialized in front of him, as the impatient person he is he quickly opened the first box. On the inside of the first box was a plain brown book with a cross on it, upon touching the book a new system notification told him what the item was.

Seeing how good this item was Tony could not help but rush to open the second box. Inside the second box was a chip, again as he touched the item a system notification told him what the item was.

The stat chip was even better then the book, Tony could not believe how lucky he must be. filled with enthusiasm Tony rushed over and opened the last box. the contents shocked Tony as he first saw them looking like a set of friendship bracelets. hoping he was wrong he slowly touched the bracelets, with what the system said Tony could not help but gasp.

With all of these cool starting items Tony could not wait to start so he initiated character creation.
