Chapter 7 : Looks like my ears are gone haywire!!

While walking towards 'The sun city' Both Leo and Louise did not talk much but Louise was definitely angry towards Leo. After half hour of walking both arrived in front of a Lake Louise asks in confusion (Weren't we going to the city why are we here) Leo looks at her like she is an idiot and replies ( Idiot i can't go to city looking like this and smelling like shit) Louise becomes more angry and shouts at him (Then why the hell are you wearing the mage cloths you shouldn't have changed arlier before bathing) Leo ponders a little and replies (Dang I forgot) than he makes a hollow laugh Louise looks at him in shock but before she could retort Leo jumps in the lake and washes himself then after 10 minutesa boy of age 17 with wet white robs wuth a rose amblem on it gets out of water his hair long till reaching eyes lips minor red pale white skin and a beautifully oval face and deep blue eyes like there is lifetime of experience in them after he gets out Louise looks at him and speaks (Lier you said you were 40 but you are only 18 at most) Leo jumps in shock and runs back and looks in water and exclaims "Wow i am YOUNG AGAIN!! hahahahha" Louise couldn't understand what he was saying but she knew he was extremely happy.

After some time when he was done admiring his face and body tge dua starts to make way towards the city again.

After 3 hours.....

The sun city was a city where rain was rare and slaves and sunlight was common the city is really hot but the population is really high because of slave traders here the style of city is like of ancient times citys. The amazing thing was that even though the city did not have rain so much but there were flowers on streets and in front of houses this city never give a vibe ofa. desert but instead a city with a lots of water supply.

There was a line of 20 people in front of the city these people were going through procedures of entering the city. Leo and Louise were in the end of the line Leo asks Louise (Why is it that there is no problem of water in this city even though it is 'The sun city') Louise replies (Oh that's because there are many mages in the city and the most powerful 12 mages resupply the city with water every weak there is no artificial rain but tanks can be filled easyly they only take 10 minutes for this this city is really valuable to the kingdom so the mages are really powerful one of them is a personal guard of the king) Leo hears it and nodes than he looks at the front of the line.

In front of the line a person was showing his wrist to the guard and then his bags after that the man was allowed to pass through the gates after seeing this Leo asks again ( What is it on his wrist?) Louise shows her wrist and answers (This is the symbol of people of this kingdom if someone doesn't have this than he or she will be considered slaves i created this symbol with illusion magic) After that Leo looks at the symbol and then memories it.

[Skill will deactivate in 30 minutes ]

Before comming in city Louise tought him 5 skills he learned that in minutes because every skill was mind based Leo specifically wanted to learn mind magic so he refused anyother skills like fireball or iceball or wind rider etc. Louise insisted on teaching him an offensive skill but he really refused when he learned the skills in minutes Louise was really shocked to the point that she was going to faint again so Leo told her that he knew these skills already before his amnesia after hearing that Louise calmed down.

the fine skills were

1. Illusion

2. Brain wash

3. Brain sleep

4. Brain shock

5. Brain explosion

The first three skills were defensive and not used for combat but the last two were offensive skills brain shock was only to paralyze the enemy where as brain explosion was to destroy the enemy mentally it can kill the enemy if used in full force and mental level is high.

After some time Leo arrived in front of the masive steel gate just when he was going to show his wrist the guard in bunker runs out and salutes with his palm on his head and speaks in a soldier voice "@$'@@(-$@" Leo uses one more skill

Leo reads the soldiers mind during his long speech and interprets the language as "Sir wellcome back we were ordered to go look for you if you didn't come in 2 houes more while you were away The blood rose guild prepared thr room and your payment in the rising moon inn the guards will escort you to the inn" After 5 seconds Leo uses another skill

Everytime Leo uses one skill the other automatically deactivates when he asked Louise how to double cast the magic she said that he have to train the skills he wants to double cast so he was training as well as saving himself

Leo replies (Take us to inn and report to the guild that i have returned and also prepair some children language books for this brat i am going to teach the language to her got it Tell me what will you do?) The guard gets a little panic but somehow he manages to speak "@$@/$*+$*'" Leo used his skill again to interpret "Yes sir I will personally go to The blood rose guild and tell them that sir William have returned and then i will buy the best language books available and deliver them to the inn meanwhile these guards will escort you to the inn " Leo nods and starts to follow the two guards with Louise with him but just as he was going to follow the tgird guard stops him and speaks "@$-'$*$$" Leo again translates "Sir show me the seal first " Leo looks at the superior guard the guard understand what he have to do and goes to the guard stopping him and gives a really hard slap to the face and says "You bastards don't you know who he is look at that emblem he is one of the blood rose guild" The guard after getting two more slaps speaks "Sorry sir" And then Leo starts to follow the two guards escorting him and thinks to himself (I could have used the illusion but sorry man for slaps but i really am tired after rotating between skills it really drains my energy) Then he smiles faintly (Now then i will learn this language as soon as possible)

After the duo leves the supervisor speaks

"Hello 1 2 3 mic test mic test huh weird i thought my ears are gone haywire when he spoke it sounded like someone is speaking inside my mind looks like i have to take a leave i am overworked "

While walking he observes the surrounding areas and sees that there are a lote of slave merchants and slaves in city the slaves are treated as dogs here some are just lying on footpath and getting wiped and some are just sitting taking a support of the walls there eyes filled with missery and helplessness he sees some children eating what apears to be scraps of dog food and bones which do chew there were many demihuman slaves . But the amazing thing was that the slaves outnumbered the citizens by 10 to 1. He asks Louise about this (hey why are slaves bot retaliating against citizens) Louise looks at him for a while and says (Because it is forbidden for a slave to betray his or her master) then she stops a moment and shock apears on her face and fear and says (You.... you made me.... your slave didn't you .....that's why you were confident that i won't betray you)

Leo smiles and nodes than he speaks (You are really a dumb girl when you agreed to help me you had signed the slave contract your self.) then he speaks in friendly tone (Don't worry you are not a slave anymore you can do whatever you wish to do i won't stop you but you can't betray me that's our deal that means we are like a family in simple terms) Louise looks at him in disbelief and starts to cry on the road the guards get startled and stops on spot Leo panicaly squats down and speaks (Sorry i will disolve the contract right away please don't cry) Just when he was going to diaolve the party Louise grabs his arm and shouts (YOU IDIOT DON'T DO THAT) Leo looks at her in confusion than Louise continues (I.... I.... I am just happy.... that's all... I don't have a family... so don't leave me) Leo couldn't bear to hear more and hugs her and speaks (Don't ever say that you don't have a family i am your family don't worry i won't leave you no matter what) Louise just hugs him back and don't say anything..

After 1 hour.....

The guards and The duo arives at the inn and the receptionist asks Leo "Sir how many rooms do you want" Leo replies (Oh i am already registered by name William give me the keys to my room no need for the extra) Firstly receptionist gets panicked and then after sometime she starts to look in the register and then hands over the keys after the duo goes to there room then receptionist speaks "Hello 1 2 3 mic test mic test huh weird i thought my ears are gone haywire when he spoke it sounded like someone is speaking inside my mind looks like i have to take a leave i am overworked " .
