Naruto groaned as he scratched his head. "Shoot! Well, I guess I have no choice but to wait for tomorrow."
Okami nodded. "Yes, Naruto. Tomorrow, I will accompany you on your first attempt in catching a wild pokemon."
Kakashi took out his book and read the perverted Icha Icha series. "Well, it's time to go home, everyone. Don't forget to come early tomorrow. We will meet here at the Pokemon Center."
Everyone pointed their fingers at Kakashi while shouting in unison. "Don't you dare start talking about being early!"
Okami giggled when he saw how anime-like they were when they reacted together, saying the same words and doing the same actions at the same time. He never thought that it could possibly happen in reality but the truth was it did.
Soon, Team 7 left the area and Okami was the only one left in the front yard. He unsummoned all his pokemon and led the duplicated pokemon to the backyard. Once he gave them the final instruction of not hurting any humans aggressively, he released them including the two Digletts and Tentacools that he had forgotten to show to the public.
Once Okami was done, he then went inside the shop and told Baki and Tomiro that they could go home.
Tomiro gave a brief report about the earnings for today, which came from Akira who bought two pieces of each item, and Naruto who bought a Pokeball. The total earning was 2,900 Ryo.
After they cleaned their respective working station, Tomiro and Baki finally went home.
Okami summoned his pokemon and everyone chose their respective spots to sleep. He left the Diglett and Tentacool outside because it was not convenient for him to summon them inside the house. When he was done making sure that they were fed, he then checked the Pokemon App to see if there were any changes.

Okami hurriedly redeemed Zubat, the only available pokemon in the list, and his total PP became 400. Soon, he saw Zubat flying in the air and let him join the rest of his pokemon.
Curious, he then opened the Level 2 Gift Box from Arceus, expecting to see good results. He remembered that the level 1 gift box had given him Abra, the Pokemon Duplicator and the Pokemon Breeder. He was not able to use the Pokemon Breeding services because there were some things that he needed to unlock first, which was yet to be uncovered.
Okami pressed the 'confirm' button with bated breath.

3) Palkia's Authority - you can activate this on one of your territories and it will never be destroyed because it is being protected by Palkia's spatial barriers. The area could still be infiltrated but you can perform any of Palkia's Jutsu within the territory that has Palkia's authority. It also allows you to cast Palkia's skills outside of the territory once per day. The number of use increases as you open more Gift Box.

Okami cackled when he saw his reward. Indeed, his suspicion was correct. What he needed to do was to achieve the milestone to get the gift boxes because they gave huge benefits.
The first thing that he did was to activate Palkia's Authority. A soft-spoken voice echoed inside his mind, asking him if the location was correct. Okami agreed and reiterated that he wanted to activate Palkia's Authority within Hiruzen's previous property. As soon as he did this, he suddenly saw the space before him distorted and the miniature form of Palkia appeared.
Mini-Palkia looked around and saw Okami. "Oh, so you were able to create five Pokemon trainers and redeem five pokemon?"
Okami nodded. "Are you the real one?"
"Nope! Anyway, congratulations on achieving the first milestone. I hope you can get Dialga's Timezone, Giratina's Antimatter and Arceus' Wrath before the fake God of this world descends. See you then." Mini-Palkia disappeared without a trace.
Okami analyzed what Mini-Palkia had said earlier. If he was to believe what the Dragon God of Space said, then he was sure that the fake God he was referring to was Kaguya. Whatever the case, it was still far from the future and he had enough time to protect himself through these rewards from the gift boxes and expand the influence of Pokemon.
Okami did not know how to proceed with his new power and tried concentrating his mind. As soon as he did this, he saw everything that is within his territory like how a Byakugan user saw his surroundings, except that he had no blind spot. He checked the lists of powers from Palkia's Jutsu activated through Dream Points and saw that he could do them once per day outside of his assigned territory. But within his territory, which was the Pokemon Center and the area within the walls, he could execute the skills as many times as he wanted.

Okami realized that as long as he pursued the path of expanding the powers of pokemon inside this world, the Dragon Gods and Arceus would also give him the means to survive.
He was contented with the rewards this time and claimed the three famous starters of the Kanto region: Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.
Soon, the familiar sensation left him and three pokemon appeared inside the shop. Bulbasaur walked towards him as he waved his two vines up in the air to indicate that he was happy. Charmander's flame on his tail went brighter as he exhaled some fire breath and jumped around. Squirtle formed bubbles around him as he approached Okami step by step.

Okami realized that he had already achieved 20 pokemon but was dismayed when he found out that there was no additional reward to his achievement. It was nighttime and he was lazy to go downstairs so he decided to activate the Pokemon Safari tomorrow.
He was about to sleep when he realized that a new prompt appeared inside his inbox.

The three legendary birds have fully assimilated within this world. They can now be caught by Pokemon trainers.
Several pokemon from the Pokemon World will arrive here in this world through the portal. They will be randomly distributed throughout the Naruto world. The pokemon transported in this world are only limited to the 20 pokemon variants you have redeemed. Next phase will include the next 30 pokemon you redeem in the future.

Okami was fully awake now. He turned around and saw the narrow passageway between the infirmary beds and healing station widened by several meters while the space around them was distorted.
Indeed, many pokemon which were limited to what he owned had appeared through the portal. They then changed into lights and flew towards the direction only Arceus knew. This went on for almost two hours until the portal closed. Everything went still like the way it was before the portal opened.
He checked through the Pokemon App and found out that Phase 1 had started and catching pokemon in the wild was not limited to his territory. But they still need his power to turn them into Pokemon trainers.
Okami could not imagine that this was Phase 1 that the Pokemon App was referring to. He wanted to verify what was happening around Konoha and if there were any visible changes in the environment. He could not sleep through the night.

Meanwhile, there were five people who were present inside the meeting room beside the Hokage's office.
"So let the meeting begin." Hiruzen signaled Shikaku to give his report.
Shikaku nodded and unfurled the document. "Everyone is gathered here tonight because of one thing, and that is to decide what to do with Okami Okaya's unique Kekkei Genkai. As we have seen today and in the past, his Kekkei Genkai revolves around scouring the past and seeing the future through the Prophetic Jutsu and the other one, which is more prominent, is the summons and using their skills as their own strength through Pokemon Jutsu. Such a skill is needed in Konoha and could be attested by me and Inoichi Yamanaka that being a Pokemon Trainer does not harm anyone, instead, it gives them lots of benefits.
With the recent attack that happened in Konoha, we are still trying to remedy the situation. But we found out one fact, and that the one that attacked the village was actually a Pokemon called Zapdos, a legendary Kanto Bird. Our Intel on Suna reported that a firebird has attacked them as well, which coincides with what Okami said. He mentioned that there was another one, an Ice Bird pokemon, wherein its location is unknown."
When they heard that the thunderbird was a pokemon, they reacted strongly.
Danzo stood up. "How can we know that it was not the kid's doing? After all, he is the only one who can control such a thing. If he happens to be the one, then he's dangerous."
"I've met with the kid, Danzo, and I feel that his character is goodnatured and kind. But still, Danzo could be right if that thunderbird was being controlled by Okami. I want to put the interest and safety of Konoha above all else!" Koharu added.
"I agree with putting the interest and safety of Konoha above all else. I thought that pokemon are only limited to the ones we saw with Okami - strong but tamed. But if there are pokemon like the thunderbird, then we should take full control of what Okami can do for the benefit and safety of the village." Homura calmly stated his stance.
Hiruzen pounded his fist on the table. "Danzo, remember that you are not part of the Council anymore. I have only included you in this meeting because I have known that you are sending someone to spy on Okami Okaya. You are only here because I want to tell you directly that you can't touch the boy."
Danzo picked up his cane. "Then I think I should just leave. My presence and help are not needed here."
Koharu frowned. "But Danzo stated some valid points to consider, Hiruzen. We should check the sincerity of the boy. After all, we don't know who he actually is or where he comes from."
Hiruzen massaged his head. "Then what do you propose then?"
"I suggest we fully instill in him the loyalty towards Konoha," Koharu suggested. "And limit what he can do inside the village until we can be sure of his identity."
"I agree," Homura replied.
Hiruzen was about to refute what they said when Hanshi entered the room.
"I'm sorry to intrude the meeting, Hokage-sama. I have to go downstairs to see what's happening but you have to check what's happening outside as well," Hanshi said, his expression clearly flustered.
While Hanshi went outside the door, Hiruzen immediately opened the window and saw many streaks of light that were zooming in the sky. Even some lights were headed towards the lower ground and into the forest's direction. He noticed that a beam of light was approaching them.
"Look out!"
Hiruzen flickered away from the window and stood in a fighting stance. What he saw made him shocked.
