The Ark Of Allocating Tasks

"Now then, I shall be training them how to control and use their Elemental Powers. After that, anything to do with Magecraft, I will be handling. Although, if I am drafted on a mission, I will assign another Founder to help."

"Or I might call the Marksman Pillar back for a bit. Most likely, I'll do that after this week since we are short of hands. Tomoe, you will be teaching them about fighting styles using a weapon. Allow them to choose what weapons they'd like and observe their progress."

"I trust that you know enough weapon fighting styles to train five different ones at once."

Tomoe scoffed and nodded with a confident gaze.

"You are asking me to do quite the task, Lady Roydon. But rest assured, I will train as if they were my students. And I will show you good progress," replied Tomoe.

"Bryan, I will take into accordance about what Minwoo has reported about you. First, you will be training the kids in hand-to-hand combat and physical endurance, seeing that you've got a body of a human. It's easier for them to follow you instead of the rest of us regarding physical health."

"You can count on me for physical combat, Lady Roydon. I will make sure that they know their body's limits as well," replied Bryan, giving a thumbs-up.

"Rina will be teaching them about full-body defense and how to counterattack, plus speed and reaction times. That should be quite clear about the curriculum. Any questions?" asked Mavislin.

The trio shook their heads.

"Well then, I shall be off to help Raiyen before he ends up changing the landscape of the forest. Rina, continue to take care of the five kids for now. The rest of the orphans will be handled by Baldwin and Gillian. And yes, I have made sure that the Angry Man won't be angry today."

Everyone heaved a sigh of relief.

"As I was saying, observe the five kids as much as you can and let us know about their personalities, powers, or niches at the end of the day. That way, I can alter the training sessions if need be, and each of us knows what to expect and plan accordingly."

Rina nodded enthusiastically.

"Bryan, Tomoe. Both of you have some sparring for Bry to get used to his new weapons. Just take note, Slayer Verna. Your weapons are one with you; do not treat them as separate entities anymore. Or else, you might die," warned Mavislin, spreading out her wings.

Bryan and Tomoe nodded as the Valkyrie flew off to help her partner within the woods. The trio said nothing as they walked their separate ways. And that brings things back to Rina looking at five little kids.

"Well, I don't have many things for you five to do so... Feel free to run about and play with each other. And if you could, I'd like to see your powers in action. Do not worry about going all out, but never aim your spells at another person."

"You kids okay with that?" asked Rina, in a cutesy and high-pitched voice.

The kids looked at one another and nodded in unison. Rina gave a bright smile and gently ushered them to the open field. They then rushed off to play with each other, and it was such a sight to behold. Rina was in shock while the kids played amongst themselves.

If she hadn't known better, Rina would be thinking that they were trained Mages testing out their powers. But, in reality, they were just a bunch of kids testing their Elements for the first few times. So Mavislin doesn't need to teach them control at all!

And they were all giggling and having fun. Then, finally, Nasima used her powers as a Wind Mage to elevate herself to catch up to Amanikable. The boy was riding on a horse made out of ice, leaving trails of icy dust wherever they went.

Circe had made a bow and arrow combo and shot balls of fire into the skies. She wasn't aiming for fellow kids but just empty spaces. After a few seconds, the balls of fire will explode and split into several different pieces. All of them were harmless.

Meanwhile, Duncan was sitting under the shade of a tree. Rina finally remembered that he couldn't show his powers the same way everyone else did. Duncan had vanished when she approached him, causing Rina to freak out. The rest of the kids came to see what was going on.

Midori laughed as she crouched down towards the ground that had the tree's shadow.

"He's timid. If you approach him without warning, he'll drop into the shadows. Hey Duncan, come on out! Scaring Teacher Rina won't be good for you," explained Midori, poking at the shadow.
