The Ark Of Midori Vs Mavislin

"If you can't pass my test and duel today, then I will omit you from the program," announced Mavislin, asking the men to take care of the rest of the children.

Rina stood by the sidelines as Mavislin and Midori established the arena of the area. The Old Chapel seemed to take the hint as it forced the playing field to be several levels lower than the surface ground. However, Bryan and the children were shocked when the ground plummeted.

Midori quickly summoned her katana and struck at one of Mavislin's wings, understanding what was going on. The Valkyrie smiled as she dodged the strike in mid-air while returning fire by kicking the blade.

Midori instantly flew away and towards the wall before landing safely onto the ground. The two girls were fighting against each other in a hole in the ground, forcing Mavislin to close quarters. As the Valkyrie kept her wings, Midori instantly pounced on her.

But one glare from that Valkyrie could send shivers down Midori's spine as Mavislin caught the blade.

"You're not going to go far if your only power is the element of surprise, little girl!" roared Mavislin, effectively pushing the blade downwards.

Mavislin took the chance to deliver a solid headbutt to the poor girl and gave another powerful kick to Midori's abdomen. The child flew backward with force powerful enough to break a human's spine. But because of her blood, Midori quickly recovered for the next attack.

The child said nothing as she moved from her spot in the nick of time because Mavislin tried to punch the girl's head once more. The two fought it out, blade against fists. Midori learned that holding a weapon against a Valkyrie doesn't secure a win for you.

But how about two weapons? Midori got ready for one more strike before switching up her fighting style. Mavislin fell for the trick and struck the blade with a force that shook the entire ground. The sword broke, and Midori leaped up before Mavislin could attack the child.

Midori somersaulted several cycles in the air before landing on the other side of the arena. The child was holding onto two short swords with slightly curved blades. But the Valkyrie couldn't stare at those blades for losing as Midori went to the offense again, slashing at Mavislin.

The Valkyrie jumped away from the striking child and significantly higher wall than the floor. To Mavislin's surprise, she looked up to see Midori at her face, ready to strike again. Instead, the Valkyrie rolled out the way as Midori slashed the arena's walls.

The two clashed several more times in mid-air. When they finally touched the ground again, Mavislin thought it was time to amp up the battle using her Elemental Powers. Midori caught wind of this and quickly acted in accordance. The two blades were shining in green as Mavislin smiled.

"I haven't used the Element of Nature for a very long time, and I wonder if I still got the moves for it. Oh well, there's no harm in revisiting an old Element," said Mavislin, looking at Midori with battle lust.

Midori backed away and saw the Valkyrie's hair and eyes turning bright green. Mavislin stomped onto the ground, creating a rippling shockwave that rumbled through the area. Amid the panic, Midori stabbed the terrain with her swords to develop cracks in the floor.

Roots grew out of the crevices and began aiming at the Valkyrie. Midori snapped her fingers as the roots began to intertwine with each other to form a spearhead and thrust at Mavislin's head. But Midori knew that Mavislin wouldn't go down so quickly, and she was right.

A giant pink flower blossomed at the spearhead's tip. Then, with a flick of a hand, the flower exploded right in Mavislin's face. Thinking this was a suitable time, Midori leaped up and got behind the Valkyrie to attack but was stopped by another spell.

A bright green shield of leaves was blocking Mavislin's back while a giant tree protected the Valkyrie from the explosion. Mavislin smiled as she punched through the green shield and grabbed Midori's leg, and pulled it towards her. The Valkyrie quickly threw the child away.

Mavislin's hands were destroying the roots as she crushed all of them. The tree was no longer there when Midori wanted to find another way to attack, making the battlefield look clear again. The Valkyrie tilted her head to the side like a killer as she walked towards Midori.

The child looked down to see her legs and arms shaking like mad. Fear struck her lightning as she realized the mistake of angering a Valkyrie. Now this kid has been turned into a chew toy for Valkyrie to play with. Midori gulped but didn't have the guts to back down.
