The Ark Of Create The Last Seed

"Nope. The little kid asked for it, so Mavislin is giving her the all-out fight she wanted so badly. The Valkyries are brought up by strict authorities and respect the higher ones. So it's no big deal that Mavislin got ticked off when hearing a student has defied one of the Pillars."

"Mavislin handpicks the Barren Pillars First Seats and has done so for the past few years. And to hear someone mocking her precious underlings, the Valkyrie would have every right to get angry. However, I dare say she is still holding back against Midori in this fight."

"After the training of the Ancient Relics, Mavislin's weakest Element had changed from Water to the Earth or Nature Element. And if the kid can't brave the Valkyrie's weakest Earth Elemental attack, then Midori can kiss goodbye about being in the First Seat," explained Baldwin, crossing his arms.

"That sounds pretty harsh to hold against a little girl... Have we forgotten that those kids were being experimented on since they were born?" asked Bryan, challenging the Angry Man's words.

The Angry Man's facial expression changed from indifferent to shock in seconds. Raiyen quickly sensed the change of mood between the two guys and covered Bryan's mouth before he could say anything else.

"You want to see God with one swing of a punch?! Don't talk back to the Angry Man!" whispered Raiyen as he yanked the poor Slayer towards him.

"That's precisely why Mavislin is giving a good thrashing to the kid in that pit, you walnut! Without Rina, they would not have been alive. Even if the Flower Mage was wrong to experiment on them, Rina tried her best to make amends by sacrificing herself to stop the mastermind."

"That Butterfly Girl lost an eye to saving those kids, and they have to understand that not all bad guys are evil. All the other kids have accepted Rina... What makes Midori so special that she doesn't have to respect Rina?" asked Baldwin, facing the kids as he said those last lines.

"These kids are young, so their little minds can still be molded to see the world from a better viewpoint. They are impressionable, and we can turn their lives into joyful ones from the darkness and despair of the place they were born in."

"You don't allow one color to fill your entire perspective of how life works. I may be the Dark Mage of the Arks, but I was a father once in my life before. So I know how kids need to learn, and Mavislin is doing a great job teaching these young ones," finished Baldwin.

Duncan scoffed at the Angry Man, with his eyes remaining at the scene below.

"We'll see about that, Sir Noble. I highly doubt anyone could change my mentality and view on life itself with the hell I've gone through. Not even Mavislin has changed that aspect about me... What makes you think you can change my life? Nothing but empty promises."

"Because I'm nothing like the other kids or my sister..." murmured Duncan, clenching his fists.

Within the cage of the large tree branches, Midori smiled to herself as the trap started to converge towards the center. But another bright idea came into the young child's mind, and she thought to create another Seed instead of using the regular Seeds.

Midori's Seeds against enemies were similar to Rina's Flower Dance Stages. However, the First and Ninth Seed difference was the number of movements needed to perform that Seed. Power levels do not segregate the Seeds. But Midori was the creator of this set of spells, unlike Rina.

This means that the whole set was still a work in progress. Midori came up with the Nine Seeds when she was locked up in a cage. She dreamt of herself performing certain moves, and when Mavislin gave her first-ever gift, Midori could finally record her Orginal Spells down.

And now, during this duel, Midori could finally see the moves in action. Finally, the child had a better look at how the Seeds work in battle and quickly thought of ways to tweak the movements. But now, none of the Seeds could break her out of the confines.

Midori had no choice but to combine a few techniques into a single move to break out of the cage. Or, the little girl could use an explosive Seed and change the number of weapons she wielded to crack the rock cage from within. But Midori could get hurt in the process.

And it's a risk that the child was willing to take. Midori kneeled and placed her palms flat onto the ground, and bowed her head down while closing her eyes. Once again, Midori saw herself in the barren wasteland from when she was dueling with Rina.
