Tomoe drew out his katana and stood up alongside his Master. A bright light flashed on Raiyen's hand, and the Time Boy was suddenly holding onto his Ancient Relic. Both men looked at each other and nodded while asking the rest to stand back.
Tomoe's Elemental Aura came into vision as a large fire made out of blue flames and black outlines, while Raiyen's Elemental Aura was in three different colors to represent all of his Elements. Green Elemental Aura, representing his Nature Element. Blue Aura to represent his Electric Element.
And finally, an appearance of his Time Elemental Aura was a beautiful and bright violet color. Baldwin raised his eyebrows at the trio of colors appearing at the boy's back. Unfortunately, the showing of all Elements for Raiyen was rare since he never revealed the Time Elemental Aura.
The Time Mage wasn't too proud of his Main Element as he continued to grow older. But now, Raiyen needed to pull off this current defensive stunt. The Founder of the Vigilante required all three of his Elements to do so.
"Something from the past that resonates to the future..." chanted Raiyen as he held up the Time Ripper into position.
"Dance Of the Sun God; Second Height..." chimed Tomoe, as his blue flames stretched from his back towards his blade.
"Come forth now!" shouted the Master and Familiar duo as Mavislin unleashed her final attack on Midori's Final Seed.
"Behold, the Primordial Goddess of Earth itself. The Mother of all the Titans and creations that come after... Final Showdown; Terra Mater!" yelled Mavislin, unleashing the counterattack against the duo.
A single large root shot out from the Valkyrie's palms and headed straight to Midori's neck. But, with the guidance of an experienced fighter, Mordred had made sure the sword was ready to protect the child's vital points. But first, the spells had to meet in the middle.
The two spells' clash created a vast shockwave, as predicted by the Founders at the spectators' area. The force was so great that the pit walls broke down, and the people up top had to move back so they wouldn't fall into the duel below them.
But that wasn't any use as the entire group plummeted down onto the same level of the battlefield. Naturally, this did not go well for the children or the Mages. Or for poor Bryan, who didn't like the sensation of falling.
But thanks to Rina's manipulation of the Flower Element, the impact was cushioned by flower petals. And it was time for Tomoe and Raiyen to release their protection spells since the group was now at ground zero of the blast.
"Burn The Skies Clear!" yelled the Kitsune, jumping in front of the group to unleash the protection spell made out of the fire.
Tomoe contorted his body while in midair to do a full-circle with the blazing sword to make that spell happen. A ring of blue flames appeared and solidified as a large shield made out of the fire to guard the group against the shock wave. Tomoe landed and placed his arms out to support the shield.
Now it was Raiyen's turn as the Time Mage finally found the full version of the Headmaster's Shield. The Time Boy stood behind his Familiar and got ready to back Tomoe up. Raiyen slashed the air in front of him and plunged both hands into the cut in midair.
"Adhere to my plea. Forge the protection I demand. Howling winds. Corrupt flora. Black Lotus Of the Storm!" yelled the Time Mage, fully pulling out the flower bulb from the rip.
The black flower bulb opened up from Raiyen's opened palms. The Time Mage could feel the strain at his Elemental Energy Pool as he needed to fuel both the Black Lotus and Tomoe's attacks. But Raiyen squeezed his eyes shut and shook his head, pushing his powers to overdrive.
The Time Boy's hands shook as he forced himself to create all eighteen petals of the Lotus. On top of that feat were the six layers of transparent shields in front of the lotus. The children watched with amusement and sparkles; they witnessed the scene before them.
Bryan and Rina readied themselves for any random attacks while the duo was protecting the group from the blast. Baldwin smirked as he transferred some Elemental Energy to the Black Lotus to help ease the weight off from Raiyen.
"Wait... How can a Dark Elemental Mage support this shield?" asked Raiyen, confused at Baldwin.
"Black Lotus... Corrupted Flora... It's in the incantation. Go figure it out yourself and be grateful I'm lending you a hand!" said Baldwin, powering the shield alongside Raiyen.
"I can hear cracks in my spells. So I'm handing guard duty over to you, Raiyen!" yelled Tomoe as he got pushed back.
