"I'll let my memories show the true hell we went through since birth. I hated everything about it and wished that I would've died and not healed from the wounds they did to me. I longed to see the day that I wouldn't have to be caged and experimented on," said Midori, sadly.
The man walked towards the wall at the back of the room. The torch he held lit up the horrors of the caged children who were either at the brink of starvation or were already dead in the cage. A young girl with red hair cried as the man opened her cage, making the rest of the kids look away.
The man pulling the poor girl's hair dragged her out of the cage. The man then lifted the child and slammed her down onto the table in the middle of the room. All the while, the poor girl was screaming and crying, begging him to stop. The man ignored her and shook his head.
"Even after three months of experiments, you still won't stop begging me to stop this. Remember, this is for the sake of humanity to perform in the medical field. You should be proud that you are part of the revolution of humanity! So stop crying about it!" shouted the man.
The man tightened the rubber straps onto the poor child's limbs, stomach, and neck. Then, the man held up a syringe filled with red liquid and injected it into the child's body. This caused the girl's body to react to the foreign fluid negatively. Her body started convulsing heavily.
Mordred could only look on with fear in her eyes as she summoned her sword and gripped it tightly. The man did not seem the least bothered as he took out another syringe filled with a pale yellow liquid. Then, without any moment's hesitation, the man stabbed the needle into the girl.
"STOP IT!" yelled Mordred, trying to slash the man.
But, regrettably, this was only a memory in Midori's mind. Thus, the man continued with the experiments. The mad person injected the kid with a total of seven different fluids. The child was left with her tongue hanging out and her eyes devoid of life.
"This is only one of the many that occurred in my room. I was there before getting my 'Special' room for a short moment. That would be where the horror began for me. I was only a witness until that moment, and now I was being tested on," explained Midori, turning her head to the side.
Mordred looked in the direction of where Midori faced, and the area changed again. A smaller room with a white stone table in the middle of it. A giant chandelier was hanging above the table to shine down on the horrors of what these people did to Midori.
"I hope you've got a strong stomach because things will get gory in this segment. Remember what I said about my blood? After finding out my blood was special," explained Midori, pointing to the white table, this is what the doctors did.
Mordred's face turned from angry to utter horror in split seconds as a team of men rushed to the table, with a young Midori lying in it. The men continuously slashed the child with sharp instruments and watched in amusement at how fast her wounds healed.
Mordred trembled as Midori looked at the situation without any feelings. Then, a female doctor that resembled the Flower Mage came up to the table and hacked off Midori's arm. Midori's arm grew back instantly to everyone's shock, including Mordred.
"I'm sorry, but that's the only few memories I've got back in that place. Lady Roydon offered me to erase most of the memories since I had nightmares almost every night. But I can show the one thing I remember before getting out of that place."
"Lady Roydon wasn't the one who directly rescued me, but she was the one who killed and defeated the mastermind behind all our suffering. I wish it had been so I would've known seen the Valkyrie in action."
"Unfortunately, I do not have any memory from that, but it's what the elders told me," explained Midori, pointing to the wall smeared with dried-up bloodstains.
Mordred took down her armor as she saw the poor, lifeless girl being bound by the wrists above her head. Midori was chained to the wall and had several bruises around her body. Her clothing was a rice bag and had tears in it.
Without the obstruction of people. Mordred could finally see what Midori looked like before entering the Old Chapel. The Knight was shocked to see that Midori looked human with black hair and eyes. The child before Mordred was without fox ears and a tail.
