The Ark Of Round Four: Nasima

The child looked around and found that stone slabs surrounded her sat in the middle of the black tiles. As Midori went towards a slab, a spear popped out, shocking the poor girl. Soon, the rest of the slabs did the same, and Nasima was soon spoiled with choices.

But one spear, in particular, caught the young girl's eyes. It looked enormous, but when Nasima went closer, the weapon looked manageable for her. The spear was gold with a blade at the top of it. But what stands out was the green wyrm that coiled around the entire weapon.

Without a second to lose, Nasima quickly snatched the weapon and woke up in the present world. The child wasn't holding onto the spar she had chosen since she needed to call out its incantation. The words poured into her mind like a torrential rainfall.

"The weapon represented by the fearsome Azure Dragon of the East. One of the Four Symbols of the Chinese Constellations... This Dragon is the symbol of the Spring season... I call out thy name," chanted Nasima, shooting her arm out to grab something in midair.

"Qinglong's Spear!" finished Nasima, as the spear from her mind appeared into her hands.

The child placed a foot forward and aimed the spear right at Rina. The Flower Mage readied up her shield and nodded to proceed with the lesson. Nasima inhaled and focused her Elemental Energy into Qinglong's spear. A massive orb of green Elemental Energy formed at the spear's tip.

"Might Of Ventosus: Spring Song!" yelled Nasima, releasing an enormous torrent of green and grey Elemental Energy at Rina.

The torrent was a column of green power with grey lines surrounding it. Once the attack hit the shield, Rina was being pushed back. Nasima stood her ground as the attack went on. But once it started to fade, Nasima jumped into action and attacked the shield with her physical strength.

The shield broke instantly, and Rina was forced to clash with Nasima. The Butterfly Girl quickly tried to push the child away and underestimated Nasima's weight. The small girl flew backward but propelled herself higher in the air and tried slicing Rina's neck.

However, the Flower Mage blocked the spear using her wrist and thrust her spear at Nasima. But to Mavislin's astonishment, Nasima flipped her body over to kick the attacking spear away. The child quickly spun herself and aimed another attack on Rina.

"Might Of Ventosus: Whirlwind Roar!" yelled Nasima, using her spear to cut the air twice.

The slice in the air turned into two medium-sized grey and green vortexes and ambushed Rina from the left and right sides. The Flower Mage quickly unleashed Petunia Rage as a way to get out from the vortexs' hold and stabbed the spear into the ground.

Nasima noticed the change and tried to move Rina away from her spot by kicking the Flower Mage. But the Elemental Energy in the air fluctuated, and Nasima thought twice being near Rina at that point. The child shivered at the spell being called out by the Flower Mage.

The child landed on the other side of the field and stabbed her spear into the ground to propel herself upwards. Nasima then closed the gap between her and Rina by taking out the spar in midair and hovering above Rina.

The Flower Mage hardly noticed what had happened since Nasima looked like she had vanished for a moment. However, by the time the flowers had bloomed, Rina found herself at the receiving end of the duel as Nasima unleashed a flurry of attacks from all angles.

This child is incredible, thought Rina, leaping back from another attack. The way Nasima moved and contorted her body was inhuman. The child of the winds was the definition of flexibility and could turn her body into forms that should break anyone's bones.

"Whoa... I thought she was the weakest out of the whole group? How is she pushing Rina back?" asked Ashley, impressed by how Rina was being ambushed from all corners by the youngest child.

"I'd say Nasima is the youngest but by no means the weakest when it comes to one-on-one fights. However, her Elemental Power needs to be improved. Her speed and agility in combat masked her weak physical power," explained Mavislin, folding her arms across her chest.

Back to Nasima and Rina, the Butterfly Girl relied on her wings to keep to Nasima's speed. Once those pretty things blossomed, Nasima's turn was on the receiving end of Rina's speed. The two girls duked it out as the children watched in wonder and silence.

Until Duncan noticed that it was getting hard to breathe as Nasima called out more attacks, Circe caught on with Duncan's wheeze and dashed closer to the duel.
