As Mavislin scanned the backdrop of the building, the Valkyrie could not help but feel nostalgic as the lush greenery reminded her of how she wished her planet would look. Valokia never looked that vibrant towards the young Valokian. Never with a balance of colors, only warm colors.
It wasn't ugly, but it wasn't what Mavislin liked. However, the lush greenery and flowers scene was based on Mavislin's dreams since Raiyen had access to them after he had borrowed the Valkyrie's powers. As a result, Mavislin could not help but feel... happiness and peace.
There were no animals around, and the sounds were all on repeat since they were in a Time Loop. So Mordred felt uncomfortable while the child inside her felt peace and tranquillity. Raiyen, on the other hand, was busy explaining the details to a mesmerized Valkyrie.
"Mordred, are you feeling alright? Any physical side effects?" asked Raiyen, trying to see if a kid could survive in this world.
"I'm fine, but I don't think the kids would like it here if you don't teach them about this place. The sounds of this place are odd, and there are no winds around unless I move around. Other than that, it's quite a good training ground. Nothing can get in normally, and nothing can get out either."
Raiyen nodded slowly before looking at Mavislin.
"Mav? Are you alright? Your eyes seemed hazy," asked Raiyen, finally seeing the Valkyrie's facial expression.
Mavislin needed a moment as she sat down on the grass. Mordred instantly supported the Valkyrie as she glared daggers at Raiyen.
"I thought you said it would be safe? Why is she looking like she will faint?" questioned Mordred.
"The place is alright, I'm just getting overwhelmed with how it looks, and it's rekindling some memories I've left behind. Moreover, I've been supplying Raiyen with the Elemental Energy for the past few days, so I'm getting hit with fatigue now."
"So don't mind me, Mo-San, I'm going to lay here for a while..." replied Mavislin, turning to her child form to sleep on the comfy grass.
Mordred freaked out and quickly scooped the baby Valkyrie in her arms while dispersing her armors. The Knight looked at Raiyen in confusion as she had never known Mavislin could revert to a child. The Time Mage laughed before taking the sleeping Valkyrie.
"Don't have to worry, Mordred. Let's head back for now and tomorrow after breakfast, and we can do a tour inside of the building. Midori may be asleep, but her body is still active and needs to rest," explained Raiyen, walking out of the portal while grasping Mordred's hand.
Mordred nodded and followed Raiyen back to the house via glitching throughout the dark forest. The Knight didn't seem too affected as Raiyen brought the child to Rina, who was waiting for the trio to return. Raiyen then tucked the small Valkyrie into her bed.
As the Time Mage walked out of her room, he was greeted by a very proud Aki leaning against the wall. The Headmaster got off the wall and walked over to the sleepy Time Mage.
"Good work, Time Master. If I were you, you might want to stay away from the Angry Man for the next few weeks. He isn't taking your new title lightly, and he is going to have a bone to pick with you," said Gillian, congratulating the new Time Master.
"I'm staying away from everyone until I get my strength back. See you in a couple of days while I sleep to my heart's content. I am drained now," replied the Time Boy, clumsily stumbling into his quarters.
The Headmaster laughed as he returned to his office. Although he had just sent one of the Founders onto a Mission, the Aki had no time to waste preparing for the next one. The items needed are still in construction, and he needed to make haste.
As dawn approached, Baldwin was getting ready to head out as Clement quickly fixed up a few food boxes for the Angry Man. Luckily for the chef, waking up at dawn to prepare food was a routine. But cooking is still the guy's passion, so it wasn't too tiresome.
"I don't require too much food, you know. I'm alright with just two, and I feel bad for making you do extra since you're cooking for the rest of the members and children. You must be emotionally drained from yesterday's meeting," said Baldwin, snatching a toast to eat.
"I am still taking that information in, but I'm fine. Cooking is my main job, and I can do it easily. What I can't do now is help you in your battles. But I'm not angry at Mavislin for preventing me from going. Against Mages, I think I'm more of a hindrance," answered Clement, sadly.
