"Why do you always like to toy with my temper, Commander of the Stars?!" yelled the Headmaster.
"The Angry Man isn't here, and I feel uncomfortable in such intense situations..."
The Headmaster released a tired sigh and concentrated on activating the Knights of Dawn at full power. When the Arks get triggered by the levers and the Pentagram lights up, the limiters on all members of the Arks except for the Founders get lifted.
The limiters are on every member as a sign of peace when working amongst humans. Those things are only released when the need arises because once they go, every Mage's Aura can be seen like beacons if they don't have the skills to conceal it.
"Those afar; hear my voice. Those near; gaze in awe. Behold, this is the Defence Of the Arks. Raise the flags high in honor and glory, Knights of Dawn!" commanded the Headmaster, pulling on Baldwin's lever.
Baldwin's spot lit up in purple and black, completing the Pentagram. Gillian's appearance did not change, but he had summoned his Ancient Relic, the Book, into his hands.
"Hear my voice, transform at my will. By the words of Akahetania and the strength of the Akis, I declare that this place will be the haven of war... Fortify the Old Chapel; Uruk's Front Of War!" shouted Gillian, summoning a staff into his hands.
The Headmaster stabbed the staff into the ground with such force powerful enough to shatter the item. Then, the entire place started shaking again as Mavislin rushed towards the window. Raiyen followed her and was shocked to see that the Old Chapel had become more extensive.
"A neat feature to use the King Of Uruk's Palace as a fortress. I remember reading about it during the construction of this building, so I jammed it in as a last resort during the war. According to the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Ziggurat was meant to house all 50,000 people of Uruk."
"Now the children have plenty of space to run about, and we won't have to worry about squeezing with them," explained Gillian, feeling proud about the Old Chapel becoming a Palace.
"Great, now my house has turned it a castle of Babylonian Legends. So what's next, a pegasus?" asked Z, shaking his head.
"Hey! I put a lot of work into this spell, alright? Don't diss the castle!" protested the Headmaster, glaring at Z, shaking his fist with anger.
"So we will be heading off to our targets and areas now? I'm okay to fight my target now since my enemy is a one-person show, but how about Mavislin's target? Don't tell me you are tossing her towards Albion by herself to face the Knights of the Round Table?!"
"That would be akin to suicide!" yelled Raiyen, unafraid of what would happen to him if he shouted at the Headmaster in such a rude manner.
"Watch your tongue, Prince! You do not raise your voice at the Headmaster like that," bellowed Ysabeau, glaring at the Time Mage.
Raiyen did not heed the High Queen's warning and focused on the Headmaster's reply. Gillian blinked a few times before sighing.
"Those who head into battle without a strategy would be offensive to the warriors before them. And there's no way I am letting my leaders go into battle without a proper plan. The only person I can trust to plan things out by themselves is Z, Ysabeau, and Baldwin."
"As for the two of you, Raiyen and Mavislin, I will brief you on what to do when I am done discussing with Z and Ysabeau about their plans of action. But, for now, aid the Pillars to keep the children safe and command your departments to be on guard."
"Until I give the signal, you can go to your destinations. However, until then, do not allow your Arks to hunt down the enemy just yet. Only attack when they make the first move and don't make judgment calls. Or else, out the door you go," directed the Headmaster.
Raiyen gulped as Mavislin nodded at Gillian. The Valkyrie then shook her head with disappointment as the Time Mage broke out in cold sweat from the Headmaster's words.
"Who asked you to challenge the Headmaster?" said Mavislin, flicking Raiyen's forehead.
"It was worth a shot..." complained Raiyen.
A holographic screen popped out with a line of text stating one thing that made everyone's eyes widen. A message from the Angry Man, who was getting help from the Mafia within the Teuton Domain. Z went to check for the Hound, but he was still at large.
" 'Vincent is here, and I'm about to beat him up.' That Angry Man needs to use his words more often instead of just bashing people's heads in all the time..." complained Ysabeau.
