The Ark Of I Am A Monster

The Valkyrie leaped off and rained a flurry of kicks onto the Knight. He was quick in his movements and quickly threw up his sword to protect himself. However, Mavislin's kicks were much too strong for the Knight to handle as he was being pushed back.

"One spell of Heaven's Wheel would be enough to destroy half of the Earth's surface. Since I never told anyone in the Round Table that I am not human, I tell you what I am! You are right; I am a monster!" thundered Mavislin as she cast away her shield by throwing it at the Knight.

Galahad easily deflected the flying shield away and charged toward the angered Valkyrie. But Mavislin arched forward and allowed her golden wings to spring out from her back as her fingers turned into red talons. The Knight of Heaven was terrified at the beast before him.

The Headmaster had sent his eyeball Familiars to keep the Domains and the Mages in check, but he couldn't supervise them simultaneously. Thus, Gillian was shocked when he checked on Mavislin's fight, only to see her starting to transform back to her old form.

The Headmaster sighed as he warned the nearby inhabitants to return from the area as quickly as possible. And questioned if lifting part of the limiter was wise when part of his group had the being who destroyed a planet in a single night.

"Don't worry about the Valkyrie, Gil. I'm sure she's got full control of her powers at this point... Plus, she can't hurt anyone other than her enemy in that area, so there's nothing to worry about," comforted Z, giving the Headmaster a cup of coffee.

"I better hope that you are right, or else we've got a raging Valkyrie to fight against," said Gillian, downing the coffee.

"Go easy on the caffeine, alright? I'd like to see you die from a glorious battle than your addiction to dirty bean water..."

The poor Headmaster spat out his coffee upon hearing Z's comment causing the liquid to spray all over the floor. The Old Chapel scolded the Aki by throwing him off the chair while Z stared at the Headmaster questionably.

"What the hell did you name my drink?!" shouted the Headmaster, getting up from the floor.

"What? Coffee is just bean water..."

"I forbid you ever to say that again... Now get out of my study!"

Z seemed offended but shrugged it off and left the room. In the meantime, Mavislin was still scaring the living lights out of the Knight of Heaven. Though the Valkyrie remained mainly humanoid, the glare and Elemental Aura made Galahad think he was in the devil's presence...

A true monster was before the man. Mavislin's eyes turned from orange and blue into shining gold with red outlines. And that's when she opened her mouth to roar. The Knight of Heaven feared for his life as the roar was loud enough to destroy the nearby rocks.

If he had still been human, Galahad's eardrums would have exploded. But, if this was the power of her bark, what was a Valkyrie's bite? Galahad shook his head; the Knight of the Shield couldn't allow himself to look weak against his opponent.

But as the Knight got ready to strike at the waiting beast, he backed out at the last Tick. Because Mavislin was sucking the nearby Elemental Energy into her mouth, resulting in golden streams of Light Elemental Energy sprouted from the sands and rocks.

"I was the one who ended a war within the Universe by killing off the mightiest planet of the Andromeda Galaxy. I had the mental strength to destroy my home to protect the rest of the planets from being consumed by the Corruption Element."

"I wasn't standing around doing nothing when humanity was at war... I was doing you a favor by not stepping in! I was showing you respect and mercy! Do you know how much destruction we can cause by returning to our original forms?!"

"Earth would have never stood a chance against me... I can wipe out the Five Domains if I'm serious enough... I'll tell you why, Shielder of Camelot... Because I am a Valkyrie, the God of Warmongering!" yelled Mavislin as she stepped forwards, causing the ground to tremble.

Slowly but surely, a giant orb of shining gold was formulating within Mavislin's opened mouth.

"Howl of... " chanted Mavislin as her hair flowed freely in the wind, changing from blue and amber to bright yellow.

Galahad stabbed his sword in front of him to brace for the incoming spell, not knowing if he could summon his shield again. He figured out how to use his Elemental Energy by concentrating on his blade. And it was only that Galahad realized his sword was more prominent than before.
