The Ark Of The Orcus, Ruler Of the Roman Underworld

"Interested? I don't think she is just interested, mate... That Valkyrie was raised as a warmonger! Everywhere she went, death followed. It's not by coincidence; it's by cause. Destruction, despair, pain, war... These are the essentials of becoming a fully-fledged Valkyrie."

"She's looking at the picture because it might be her next inspiration for her new spells... Isn't that right, Mav?" asked the Headmaster, staring at Mavislin.

The Valkyrie nodded as she reached for the painting.

"I've never thought about using suffering as the core for a spell... But, I wonder if it would work against our future foes," wondered Mavislin.

"Well, if it's against those cults that worship God by sacrificing children or forcing women to bed with the priests, then I can think of a situation that those spells could work. But, other than that, our main target is always the Corrupted One, a person born from suffering and tortures."

"So that spell isn't working on Benjamin or the Husks. Interestingly, Duncan uses the aspect of Torture within his spells most of the time. I'm just saying it's surprising, considering his birthplace," reasoned Ashley.

"I guess so... I'm sure I can find another use for such spells. But I do agree that we have to change this thing... I don't want the kids to get nightmares from human imagination," explained the Valkyrie, signaling the Ankou to get rid of the picture.

"Wait... How did you know that the picture was a human's rendition of the Orcus?" questioned Bryan, catching Mavislin's passing statement.

"Hmm? Wasn't it obvious? Only humans would have such creative minds about Ancient Gods... Always depicting things from the Underworld as monsters or nightmares... Unfortunately, the poor Orcus, ruler of the Underworld, isn't fathomable to humans, so its form is never defined."

"So long as you have human eyes, you can never see the true form of such deities. That's how you know that those beings are truly Gods... Your mind would break if you saw its true form. I learned it the hard way as Leviathan showed up for air and destruction."

"Same goes for the concepts of Angels and Demons. To me, the Orcus was one of the many prison guards for Arcadia's war criminal chambers. The being was another Valkyrie who had way too much coffee and loved the carcasses of dead ones a bit too much. Other than that, he was a fun Valkyrie."

"And Gillian already has a chronic issue of staying up for more than the recommended time for an Aki, so please..." pleaded the Valkyrie, staring at the Ankou with big eyes.

"Alright... Alright! I'll change it to something more practical and not too scary for little children," grumbled the Ankou as he used his hand to destroy the illusion.

The Ankou treated the screen like water by striking it with his palm before touching the table again. This time wasn't too bad, but it wasn't sunshine and rainbows either. Instead, the terrifying picture depicts a figure amongst the crimson clouds holding a club.

The entity in the picture was a giant humanoid beast covered with brownish-red fur with the goat's head and horns, bat-like wings, and a long, spiky tail. Everyone was comfortable with the picture except for Mavislin, who found the beast oddly familiar.

It incited fear in humans, but the Valkyrie saw the beast as a comfort because of how cuddly it looked.

"That's the Orcus, Punisher of Broken Oaths. He is also known as the God of the Underworld by Roman Mythology, and he gathers those who have broken promises throughout their lives to entertain him. A monster who wields a club made out of a human spine and skull."

"If the weapon is charged, the skull would open its mouth to unleash a beam of acid. Unfortunately, this Frame does not support the club since Duncan hasn't learned the second stage of the Frames," instructed the Ankou as he grabbed the club and threw it away.

Gillian was surprised when the Ankou did so since he never knew holographic objects could be deleted in such a way. Perhaps Z and Raiyen were no longer the only ones who knew how to use the technology. But how could a Servant of Death be so well with these things?

"For now, the Fourth Frame enhances Duncan's strength in the scythe to break through whatever target, no matter how high the defense. The Frame gathers its power by converting all of history's broken oaths into a single attack and transferring into Duncan's scythe."

"Its strength isn't too powerful nor weak, so it's just right for Duncan to use without exhausting his Elemental Energy Pool. The child is reading up about the spell as we speak. It may look horrid, but I'm here to state that Duncan won't be transforming into that monster."
