The Ark Of The King's Merits

"According to Merlin, the Mirror World would be a copy of Earth if there were no such thing as pain or humanity. No darkness, no horrors because it's stuck in a Universe where nothing can leave or come in unless granted permission."

"This realm is the resting place of most heroes and the true place of Avalon within Arthurian Legend. And don't ask me what it looks like because I can't enter it," said Mavislin.

"So if Ash and I go against this... Will we get sent to the Mirror World?" asked the Slayer, visibly shaken by the new information unloaded on him.

"No, unless you allow the light to touch your physical body. Also, Rhomgomyniad's power would be stronger than Excalibur, so be prepared to throw up a third shield," ordered the Valkyrie as the Slayer and Marksman Pillar nodded their heads.

The Ankou nodded as he pulled out the Slayer's Argo Constellation and Ashley's Fortress of the Brine King in front of the model of the Black Knight. These two spells might be strong, but they didn't look strong enough to match the recorded Holy Spear.

Instead of letting them know, the Ankou trusted the Pillars' powers since combining both spells might cancel the attack; there was no way it would overpower the initial blast. The Reaper moved the models around, adjusting the objects to fit realistically.

Right now, the front and back of the King were covered, leaving only her sides open to attack. But before he could say anything about it, the Knight of Rebellion had something to ask.

"But won't the King need to bypass the Restraints to use the true power of Rhongomyniad?" asked Mordred.

"Yes, but for this case, it's the King that we are talking about... With enough Elemental Energy, she doesn't need to go through all Restraints since her sanity and judgment have already gone out the window. So, with all these said and done, shall we move on to the final attack?" asked Mavislin.

"Hang on; there is something I need to clarify with Mordred first... I thought you said that all the Round Table Knights' armor was embedded with some essence?" asked the Ankou before proceeding.

"That's right... The Merits of the Round Table... Why do you ask that?" answered Mordred.

"Because I need to know what I am up against when I get there. There's no point in using the Fourth Frame against something that negates tortures. So, what's the Merit of the King?"

"The one that I know was the Merit of 'Dragon.' More accurately, the Red Dragon. That's how the King defeated the evil dragon, Vortigern, that plagued Camelot. However, this version of the King might no longer have the same essence."

"But if someone else is supplying the King with ample Elemental Energy, he might turn into a part dragon if things don't work out in his favor. Let's hope it doesn't come to that point, or else... Hey! What's so funny?!" yelled Mordred as she wondered why Mavislin and Gillian were giggling.

"Are you afraid that the King might turn into a dragon when we don't manage to kill him?" asked Ashley, smiling at the Knight.

"Yes! Fighting a dragon is no easy task... From what I heard from Bedivere at the time, Vortigern nearly destroyed Camelot after wounding so many people. Even Excalibur and Galatine were no use against that Beast of Darkness since her could swallow any Holy Light."

"That was when Rhongomyniad was given to the King and used on the dragon."

"Then I presumed that you haven't seen Mavislin's true form?" asked the Headmaster.

"Of course not! I didn't even guess she was a Mage right before she gave Clarent to me. I get that she was strong in our fights and adventures, but I didn't think she wasn't from Earth..." said Mordred, pouting.

"I'm not going to show her my proper form here! Besides, you placed a limit on me, so I can't do it without entirely losing control. Even if I must, I can only use it against the King! Unless you decide to break the limiter now..."

"Which Ysabeau would beat you up for it because it took her months to make the thing! You complained that the last time I showed someone my true form, that person died from shock!"

The Valkyrie looked very angry with the Headmaster's limits on her powers and proper form. Mordred was afraid that a fight might break out before her and quickly tried to calm Mavislin down.

"Alright! The point is taken, and I understand that Mavislin can stand up to a dragon if she wants to... But there is another Merit within that armor I hope Duncan and the Ankou can bypass..." replied the Knight of Rebellion, looking away from the crowd.
