The Ark Of To The Black Knight's Lair

"Some of them chose to follow hierarchy like the Blizzard Faction and Dynasty Of Wings while others have shared ranking like the Pillars. So even if I need to use a particular member, if that Mage belongs to the Ark, I need a permit from that leader."

"So rest assured, I won't be kidnapping any member from their sleep just to fight in a war," explained Gillian as he scanned through the pages to find the correct spell to create a pathway.

"Ashley can't come because he would be back in Euphoria, and the twins need their rest, leaving the Slayer and Spearman Pillar. I would be going to seal the World Serpent away, but the Pillars don't have to come if it's tiresome," stated Mavislin, nodding at her underlings.

"We'll see how much we are using against the Black Knight, then we'll answer, okay?" asked the Slayer, giving a thumbs-up.

The Valkyrie and Aki nodded while the High Queen sighed and left the room.

"I think I might have a way you can create the exit right at the lair's door... Thanks to the Ankou," replied Rina as she went to the tabletop and placed her palm on it.

The map of Albion popped out from the table while Rina continued to fiddle with the model, zooming it into the area where the Infinite Experiments were held. The model changed into a map of the underground facility, and Rina kept moving the model about.

Finally, the Flower Mage stopped when there was a bright red dot on the diagram and quickly honed into the area.

"Headmaster Gillian, can you take us there?" asked Rina, moving the picture to the Aki.

Gillian looked at it for a while before sticking his palm upwards. A book flew out from the towering shelf and landed nicely into the Headmaster's palm. He opened the book and nodded before tossing it back to the shelves.

"Consider it done, Flower Mage. Oh, and perhaps some of you might want to cover your ears for this chant because it might trigger some unwanted emotions. So don't go blaming me since I'm only stating the history of that wretched place."

"If everyone's alright, I shall begin the spell. Step back for a bit," announced the Headmaster as the contents of the initial book flew out.

"Take me to the place where nightmare flourishes. Where the minds of humans surpass cruelty and agony, defying even the laws of Hell itself. The endless tortures, the vast despair... It is true to this horrific sight of madness and pain. I've set my sights now and conquered my fear..."

"Open the gate now!" yelled the Headmaster as the pages flew everywhere and headed to a single place to create a massive black metal door.

The door landed on the ground with a giant thud, causing the area to tremble. A lock was being unchained and unlocked as the doors swung open to reveal a tunnel reminiscent of the Albion Domain. Mavislin stepped forwards with the kids still holding onto her dress.

"I assume everyone knows their roles, right? If that's the case, then Mordred and I shall head in first, while the rest will catch up later. There should be multiple entrances for a huge lair, right?" asked the Valkyrie, glancing at Rihna for confirmation.

"Yes, but there's only one confirmed entrance and two half-built ones. I should be able to locate it since I was the one who last checked on that room. However, my memory is usually not the best, so bear with me," explained the Flower Mage as she held the model again.

After another Tick of looking around, Rina finally found the half-made entrances located at the South and Southwest of the lair.

"The tunnel splits right at the main entrance, so it's easy to find the other two openings. But be aware that the openings might collapse if there's too much wreckage and fighting, " Rina warned.

"Understood, it won't be a problem for us," Ashley proudly replied.

"Alright, let's be on our way, Mordred. Wait for a bit before you head in because if we do it all at once, the Headmaster will never see dinner," instructed Mavislin, pointing at the poor Aki.

After a wave goodbye, the Valkyrie stepped into the tunnel, followed by Mordred and the rest. Once they've all made it to the other side, the Headmaster closed the pathway only to find Ysabeau was still in the room. The Aki nearly felt his heart leap up and out of his throat.

The High Queen... His wife didn't seem happy that her instructions were ignored for the benefit of the meeting. The Bahamut's eyes were enough to send Gillian digging six feet under to get another ending that wasn't in the hands of his wife.

"I thought you'd left?!"

"You wished I did!"
