Gathering

"Effectively, I am the one leading the raid to save Mother and the others. That said, it is only right that the Queen's Call should be replaced with a new quest.

The Queen's Call quest in Sieghart and other's possession changes its name from "Queen's Call" into a new quest called "Prince's Call."

The same thing happened to other adventurers who also have one of the quest. Including Selene, Itsuo and Christa.

"Prince's Call, huh? It looks like things are starting to get interesting." Says Christa as she speeds up more on her way to the south.

...

After his talk to Sieghart, Edle along with Kaien went back to the royal plateu where some knights along with other civilians are helping to get the unconscious people inside the royal castle. Just like what Edle told them.

"Careful bringing them inside. They're all still breathing, meaning only a sleeping poison were used on them. But a strong one at that."

Says Edle onto everyone bringing the unconscious people inside the royal castle while thinking about getting the potion that will wake them up, as well as the potion that'll cure the poison inflicted to King Ordeus.

"We have to get those potions from that Celestine no matter what." He told himself as he gaze onto Ordeus with a worried look as he is being tended by Atalante who's trying to slow and lessen the pain of the poison inside his body.

"Edle." Kaien calls the prince's name as he approaches him. "Almost every unconscious civilians and soldiers all around the Kingdom have already been gathered at the town square thanks to Commander Tedric."

A scene from the town square shows how the unconcious people being put atop the comfortable bed sheets placed in line all around the town square.

"Good. Once the rest have been retrieved, tell all the soldiers to gather at the southern wall gate."

"Understood."

Kaien then walks away to spread Edle's order to everyone. While the prince went to check up on Ordeus who's being treated by Atalante.

"How is he doing, Atalante?"

"Edle, you returned." Atalante looks at the prince in relief after seeing him looking well after he returned from the town square. "For now, King Ordeus' conditions are good. My magic can lessen the pain and slow the effects of the poison he got from the fight earlier. However, the poison seem to be getting stronger as time passes. Soon even my magic won't be able to sustain it."

Concern grows in Edle after hearing the words that came out of Atalante's mouth. He looks at Ordeus whose face seem like he's trying to endure the pain that is slowly growing inside his body.

"What's with that concern look on me?" Ordeus talks to Edle, surprising him as he was still able to talk normally despite the growing pain.

"Y-You look like you're the same as usual, King Ordeus." Edle said that, but he can tell that the King is only trying to act tough in front of him.

"Obviously. That bastard said this poison will kill me slowly, he must be underestimating me. All this poison is doing is just destroying my internal organs apart. It may sound horrifying, but as long as the poison do not reach my vital organs, I will live." Ordeus slowly raises his hand from the ground and points his finger onto Atalante.

"Atalante will keep the poison from spreading faster so there's no need to worry."

"I see. Soon all the soldiers will gather at the southern gate and prepare to march onto Kruule. We will save Mother and the others, and we will get the antidote no matter what."

After what he told the King, Ordeus extends his left hand onto Edle as he casts a magic spell onto him.

"Hysterical Strength!"

Edle watches himself gleam with red light before it disappears seconds after.

"Castile is not someone you can defeat just by fighting head-on. But I figured that's what you'll do once you face him. People tend to lose their focus if they are losing in their battle. Or if their being driven by emotions. Remember, fighting Castile means a fight that will only end if one of you falls onto the ground, do not lose your focus into the battle. Do not hesitate to deliver the final blow no matter the consequences."

"Yes."

Edle responded to King Ordeus with his eyes looking more determined than usual. Despite that, Ordeus cannot erase the feeling of uneasiness as he is letting the son of his friend go and face a fearsome and formidable enemy alone. He wished that he too could join them and guide them to battle towards Kruule. But sadly, the poison is keeping him from even standing.

That being said, Edle says his goodbye to Atalante and Ordeus.

"I need to help Kaien and the others. Well then..."

"Edle!"

Before long, Atalante calls his name. He stopped to look back onto the princess of Meleia.

With worry visible to her eyes, she tells Edle:

"Be careful."

Edle slowly turns around and starts to walk away while replying to Atalante:

"I will see you two. Once we've won this battle."

As time passes by, all the people involved prepared themselves for the upcoming battle their own way. Sieghart and his party visited Eileen once more. And tells her about what's going to happen. Eileen can still be seen with her limbs still covered with the effects of the magic she used not long ago.

"We are going to Kruule to save Queen Elena and the other rulers." Said, Jinrah to the Ice Witch who remained silent.

"S-Sieghart figured we'd tell you. You are a member of our party, after all." Lira followed suit nervously.

But after a silent treatment Eileen gave to them, Lira's emotions lead to her furiously grabbing both Eileen's shoulders as she forcefully tells the woman:

"You're our friend! I don't care if you can't talk to or look at us right now. Once we return, I'll make sure that you'll talk to us like usual. Even if I have to do it by force!"

"Hey, I don't think that's the right course to take." Said, David.

Lira loosens her grip until she released Eileen from her grip. The woman remained silent while hiding her face from them. Sieghart isn't sure whether it's because she blames herself for everything which makes it difficult to talk to them. Or was it because the words she told them which seem to be her true feelings towards them makes it hard for her to face them.

Considering that and that she needs time to think. Sieghart let Lira do the talking until they all walk away and went to the guild master.

After talking to the guild master about the plan, the quest that changed, and some other information, Sieghart, David, Lira and Jinrah finally went outside the adventurers guild where Ronan and the others are waiting for them.

Meanwhile, Selene went back to the neighborhood where Itsuo is waiting for her return after leading the people back to their home.

"Itsuo!"

"Selene! You're back! Where's Christa?"

"Listen..."

After meeting with him. She quickly informs him about every detail and went straight to the southern edge of the Kingdom.

While at some point in time, Tedric along with the soldiers finally retrieved every unconscious people throughout the whole Kingdom and they were all put into a safe place. With the job done, Tedric orders them to gather to the southern gate of the Kingdom.

"Eh... I have no reason to decline all your information."

As things go move forward for everyone, the same thing goes smoothly for Christa as she arrived at a certain forest to pick up her friend and an unexpected guest.

...

Time goes forward fast. It's been 30 minutes since Christa took flight to the south. Everyone have all gathered and is waiting for the Crimson Eye's return.

"I'm getting quite nervous."

"Don't worry, just think about this as another training together with everyone, Itsuo."

Kaien silently gaze upon Selene and Itsuo while thinking:

"The girl seem to be adept at healing magic. But the other look just like any other ordinary adventurer. I can't feel anything special about him."

"I don't know why but I'm getting fired up with this!" Jinrah said with an excited tone in his voice. "What about you, Lira? David?"

"I'm just thinking about this as the usual quests we take but a different enemy."

"I've already been in this kind of situation in the past so it feels just like any other normal day to me."

"I see. You're more or less four generations older than us, right?"

Jinrah received a high kick after that comment. David sighed with a blank expression while looking at them as if it's something he can see normally with them everyday.

Sieghart together with Edle, Kaien and Tedric stood in line while they all wait for Christa's arrival.

"It's time, she should be arriving any second." Before long, a movement from the horizon slowly become visible for them. As the figure gets closer, they realize it is Christa seemingly levitating not far above the ground. Along with another person.

"Hey! Everyone, I'm back!"

...

Meanwhile, inside a chamber, a shackled Queen of Reilaea finally regains her consciousness.

"Where am I...?"

"Finally, you're awake. My beloved Queen, Elena."
