The Demon Forest Ruler's Servant

In the midst of their travel to the Demon Forest, they have finally passed through between the tall mountains, and as of right now, it is almost time for them to get more serious and be on guard intensely now that they are getting closer to the edge of the demon forest. Lux and Elm can feel it, they felt the incredible disgusting magical power coming from the mass number of demonic creatures living in the demon forest. During their travel, they have encountered several monsters, but they were not demonized but powerful, they immediately defeated those monsters with ease. As for May, she defeated most of those powerful wild monsters by herself that appeared in front of her in a very sudden appearance, the truth is that Lux and Elm purposely let her fight on her own as they think that it may be a good experience for her to be able to defeat monsters that she can't defeat from before.

"Good Job May! You defeated all of them!" Elm congratulates May.

"Defeated all? What?" May was confused.

"Yeah… We didn't even fight." Lux said that the two of them didn't intervene to fight the monsters.

"Ah… I see, I mean… Did I?" May gets it but still confused.

"Can't believe on yourself, I see." Lux said while smiling.

May blushed as she was being praised by Lux with a charming smile.

"Hmm? What's wrong?" Lux asked.

"No… nothing, nothing at all." May said while being flustered.

"Hey guys, look!" Elm exclaimed.

"Is that…" May said.

"Yes, the Demon Forest of Liffos." Lux said.

"Wow!" May was amazed from what demon forest looks like as this was this first time seeing one.

May is started shaking, shaking for excitement and nervous at the same time but remain strong as she was confident with her strength.

"May, you're so lively… I'm going to say this once again, I am a hundred percent certain that we are not going to be able to obtain the Spirit Stone that you are looking for." Lux said.

"Well… We won't know if we don't try." May said.

"You don't seem to be worried at all." Elm said.

They continued to travel until they have finally reached the edge of the demon forest, and this will be their first step in getting inside the dangerous zone and expecting to encounter numerous monsters that will attack. After they have reached the boundary of the demon forest, their hand are there handling the handle of the sword just in case. Lux and Elm were sweating because the place is so quiet, but they can still feel the malicious magical power from the demonic monsters nearby. Lux tells May that she should walk behind him while Elm walks behind May to ensure May's safety as they enter the Demon Forest of Liffos.

"Hmm… This is kinda…" May said.

"Hmm?" Lux asked what's wrong.

"No, it's nothing…" May denies.

*sounds coming ahead of them*

"Sheeesh, did you hear that?" Elm whispers.

After hearing that sound, the ground is starting to shake.

"Wha!? What's happening?!" May frightened.

"It's looks like they are many of them." Lux said.

"Many what?!" May continues to be frightened.

"Elm! Let's attack!"

Lux and Elm take out their sword and began charging to those monsters.

"Wa, wa, wai, wait!" May exclaimed.

*slashing sound of sword*

After attacking, all of the monsters were defeated easily. Lux and Elm thought they were demonic creatures but they're not. The fact is, they are not far enough inside the demon forest, they are still at the edge, which means, the chance of wild demonic monsters appearing in this zone is low.

"Phew, I thought they were demonic monsters." Elm said.

"Is it done?" May asked.

"Yeah, you may come here May." Lux responded.

"Are these demons?" May asked.

"No, they're just normal wild monsters." Lux responded.

"Yeah, even you can defeat these monsters May." Elm said.

"Huh? What's wrong May? You're shaking." Lux asked.

"No, this is nothing." May responded.

"*sigh*, Let me guess, have you finally realize, how dangerous this place is?" Elm asked.

"Huh? Well… I already know that from the beginning, but this time, I feel odd, it's as if I have bad feeling that something worst is going to happen later." May tells the truth and feeling odd.

"Something worst… you're not wrong about that." Lux agreed.

After that, they continued to go further inside the forest heading at the center knowing that the Spirit Stone might be hidden there.

Meanwhile, at the center of the Demon Forest…

"Demon General Sire, we have detected two humans with magic coming toward us, give us an order sire." One of the demon that serves the ruler of demon forest reports.

The name of this servant is Myan, a female demon.

"Telling me that is unneeded, kill them." The ruler of the Demon Forest of Liffos has spoken.

"Yes sire!" Myan exclaimed.

After receiving the order, the demon general's servant along with the two central demon guards came along with her and head towards to the intruders.

At that time, May, Lux and Elm began to feel odd when the demon forest suddenly becomes quiet and the magic coming from the demonic monsters had disappeared.

"Something is not right, why it fade away?" Elm felt that there is something wrong going on.

"Fade away?" May doesn't understand.

"I meant, the magic around here suddenly fades away, and I can't feel anything from here."

After being curious and wondering what's going on, someone appeared in front of them.

"What's your business here?" Myan asked.

After asking, Lux and Elm immediately pointed their sword to her while May is at their back to protect her.

"Oh my… I didn't know that there are three of you. To think that someone like her having a guts to visit this place." Myan said.

"Who are you?" Lux asked while on guard.

"Shouldn't you be the one to tell your name first? After all, you were all just an intruders. That's why I asked, What's your business here?" Myan tells them that they have no rights to know her name and making them realize that they were just intruders.

"We came here for the Spirit Stone!" May exclaimed.

"May! Why you…?!" Lux exclaimed.

"I see… However, that is not going to happen. Your Life ends here." Myan tells that she will end their lives.

"Like hell we're going to die!" Elm exclaimed as he charged immediately to attack.

Elm swings his sword to hit Myan but, he never landed a single hit after Myan dodged all of it with incredible speed.

"You're good, but, you're not even close at my level in the slightest." Myan said.

*poww!* A sound of a powerful punch.

Myan hit Elm with a poweful punch right in his stomach leaving him on the ground feeling incredibly painful. The blood is coming off from his mouth after Myan drop him on the ground.

"Let me tell you my name before you die, it's only fair since you're not telling me who you are." Myan said.

"Ugh…" Lux doesn't know what to do, and can't think properly to attack.

"My name is Myan, I am the servant of this Demon Forest Ruler."

"What?! You… That means…!" Lux realized.

Myan shows her aura and let them feel what kind of magic it is and to realize who she is.

"That's right, I am a Demon." Myan reveals.
