Chapter 6 First Time

"Do you have your answer?" Gabriel asked as he sat in the grass right by the lake.

"I don't know." Grey said as he fell towards the ground. "I couldn't project the one person who I wanted to protect." He cried as tears fell down his face.

" What will you do then? Will you curse this world or will you change it?" Gabriel asked as he stood up and walked to were Grey was.

"I said I don't know!" Grey screamed at Gabriel."Why did I yell at her like that. I should of let her take out that scouter then maybe she could have gotten away." He mumbled not raising his head up.

"I won't let you leave tell you give me your answer. Mabye by the time they take out everybody you tried to protect then mabye you'll find your answer." Gabriel said putting his hand on Greys head."What will it be?"

"Let me out of hear." Grey whispered as he got up and tried to punch Gabriel who just grabbed his fist."I need to go back and protect them!"

"How! I just watched you try to protect them, what did that get you! You watched Her get tortured!" Gabriel said trying to provoke Grey."If that's what you call protecting them you don't know the first thing about it."

"Shut up! I tried my best and I at least got them out of there." Grey sobbed leaving his head down.

"Oh is that right. You got them out of there by muscling all of your strength and using your Lightning Flash." Gabriel said letting go of Greys fist.

Grey stood there shocked after hearing that. "How did you know that?"

"I already told you I see everything you do and think." Gabriel said. "But you didn't use your power to get them out of there. I gave you some of my power."

Grey was shocked and he looked up at Gabriel who had looked like he had just been hit by a truck.

"What happened to you." Grey asked looking at Gabriel handsome face torn to pieces.

"This is what happens when I give you my power without a contract." Gabriel said as his skin slowly healed its self."Even if I barely gave you any it almost killed me. But I couldn't let you die."

"So your telling me I was completely useless against those monsters." Grey sighed falling back to the ground. "I can't protect her can I ?"

"With your powers no but give me your answer and I'll give you all my power. But I'll warn you before you decide to answer." Gabriel said as he looked worried for a second. "No one has ever been able to use my powers. Everyone that has had me have died by my hands. Because they all fail at answering my question.

Grey stood there shocked but determined to protect Liz. And he made his decision.

"I'll answer your question." Grey said as he got up.

"Alright then." Gabriel said as he walked towards Grey. "What do you want my powers for?

Grey stood there pondering through his answers and he found out each revolved around the same thing.

"I want to change the AAA." Grey stated as he looked at Gabriel as he grabbed his sword and pointed it Grey.

"What made you come to that answer?" Gabriel asked holding his sword closer to Grey now.

Grey already accepted his fate decided to tell Gabriel why he really wanted to change it.

"I want to give Liz a better life to were she doesn't have to worry about anything. And if that means changing this place then I'll do what ever it takes." Grey said knowing he was about to die.

"It that so." Gabriel said as Grey closed his eyes regretting not being able to tell Liz he was sorry. "Then I'll make this quick." As he swung his sword and put it in its holster.

"Here." Gabriel said handing Grey his sword. "You somehow managed to give me the right answer." He said smiling as he handed Grey his sword.

"What?" Grey asked as he was shocked he still had his head."Wasn't you going to kill me?"

"No wasn't but I have to train you before you can use my powers. If I give you all my powers now your body will explode." Gabriel said as he brought out another sword.

"We'll train for a year." Gabriel said as he held his sword.

"What! A year we can't do that!They'll all be dead by then!" Grey Exclaimed as he looked for away out.

"Oh don't worry a year here is only a minute in the real world." Gabriel said charging Grey "I'll train you great and those so called monsters won't stand a chance against you."

After going through intense training for a year Gabriel grew to love Grey like the brother he never had and swore to protect him no matter what.

"Okay your training is over." Gabriel said as he put away his sword.

"Did anything happen to my body while we was training?" Grey asked putting his sword away too.

"No nothing did I just got your body used to my power. Appearance wise your body didn't change other than you getting a little ripped." Gabriel said as he sat in the grass for the first time in a year.

"So what will it look like, my assassins cloak." Grey asked as he got excited thinking about it.

"Oh I hate to burst your bubble but you won't be getting one yet. Gabriel said as he looked at Grey. "Insteed you'll be getting a cool looking face mask that turns gold when you put KI in it. You'll get black lines that go from your finger tips and circle around your arms that turn gold when you put KI in it and you'll also get that sword in your hand. And I added a little something more assassin like because I put a hidden blade in your left arm. Other than that you don't get much." Gabriel laughed because Grey was disappointed expecting a cool assassins cloak.

"Now get out of here and protect her." Gabriel commanded as he stood up to see Grey off.

"Wait but how do I use your powers because I've never done this before?" Grey asked looking at Gabriel confused.

"Oh lets see, so you want like a saying that you say and I give you my power when you say it." Gabriel said as Grey shook his head in agreement." Well let's see oh I got it. Just say. Haki."

As soon as Gabriel said that Grey was shot back into his body.

He slowly got up and saw Kaguya and Aze look surprised that he was up.

"We thought that you died." Aze said as Grey slowly got up."We checked for your pulse but nothing was there."

"Oh that's fine." Grey said looking at Liz who looked completely fine as if she was never hurt."You work fast don't you Kaguya."

"What do you mean?I've been working on her for the past day." Kaguya said as Grey looked shocked.

"Oh wait wasn't it a day was a year." Gabriel said laying in the grass." Oh well I can't be helped now."

"I've been gone for a whole day!" Greg shouted as he walked to were Liz was and sat by her.

"We already told you this." Aze said sounding annoyed.

"Oh yeah, thank you Kaguya for fixing up Liz." Grey said as he walked over to Kaguya as he kissed her as a thank you. As soon as he did Her face got red and she turned away faster than his Lightning flash.

"You know I helped too but, if you kiss me I promise you I'll kill you in your sleep." Aze said as Grey hugged him and walked to the entrance of the cave.

"Thank you guys please look after Liz a bit longer." Grey said as both of them sat there."I'm going to kill everyone of them ninety nine."

"Your crazy Grey!" Aze shouted as he tried to stop him.

"I don't think that's a good idea because didn't they beat you in three seconds last time." Kaguya said looking at Grey.

"I know what happened last but please don't try to stop me. Grey said as rage filled his body."I make them pay for what they did to Liz."

Grey walked out of the entrance and a Lightning bolt came and took him away.

The ninety nine was rest by a river because they had been searching for Grey all this time after he had left.

"Damn it why can't we find him!" Resheed yelled " and why couldn't you torture her more, I wanted to see him suffer."

"It can't be helped." another of the ninety nine said as they walked to Aze and sat by him.

As they sat there as figure can out of the shadows and stood there with rage in his heart.

"Do you remember me!"
